Emma Clayton wants nothing more than her happily ever after. United in matrimony with the love of her life, Lord Henry Drake, she finds peace and tranquility prove evasive, and her life immediately starts to unravel. The mangled corpse of a bird left on her doorstep and the discovery of a young woman’s body in the forests of their estate lead back to a vengeful order of druids and a conspiracy to wipe out the wayfarer bloodline—including Emma’s unborn child.
From the invasion of the Roman Empire all the way to Victorian England, a feud that has festered for two millennia threatens to destroy everything and everyone Emma holds dear.
This final book in the Wayfarer Series challenges the boundaries of love, courage and redemption.
There were at least 8 different narrators here. And every single person had their own story and it was all woven together... I just honestly got so confused 2/3 of the way through, and I'm not even sure all the loose ends were wrapped up.
