Communication is essential for all relationships but when lies come to play it can tear everything that has been developed. It also goes with secrets even though they are to protect someone it is best to tell the truth and from there work to trust each other that is the best to develop a strong relationship.

This is the last book in Ian and Chelsie story and finally Ian was able to tell his story. I couldn’t believe what he went through before he found the person that was able to take him out of the dark path he was leading. He was able to become a better man even though the profession he works in was not his dream job. Now as for Chelsie she was a very strong woman that overcame so many obstacles but in the end she loved Ian and couldn’t get him out of her heart. She didn’t understand why he wouldn’t speak with her, why he was acting so cold towards her and overall it was just killing her.

Ian is lost without Chelsie and he misses her so much but he doesn’t want to be a burden to her. He is not a whole man or that is what he thinks. He was acting very childish and just hiding. I couldn’t believe that he just left his child, Oliver, with his parents knowing that they were so cold but after reading more about his past I knew he was going through another dark time. I knew that he was suffering so much knowing that his career was gone forever but that didn’t mean that he couldn’t do anything else. He was a very strong man and he needed to put on his big boy pants and do what was right.

Chelsie oh poor Chelsie I felt so bad for her because of the news she received at the end of Complicated on 5th Avenue. I knew that she had a long road ahead but she had unfinished business with Ian. She knew that she needed to tell him about the baby and she also needed to stop telling lies to everyone around her. Chelsie was handling this situation as best as she could but she was also running herself into the ground. Her business was blooming and she had excellent staff. What was kind of sad was that her relationship with her bestfriend was fading. Jason was still in the picture and he was someone that she could confide in but he knew that she forever love Ian, only him.

I loved Ty he was a sweet little boy that with his request of wanting to talk with Ian plans were now in place. I loved how Ms. St. Claire story developed even more from that point and I thought that it was going to be smooth sailing from there but how wrong was I to think that. I should have known that there would be more drama especially with her ex-husband. There were more developments but readers will have to get the book to know every single detail. All I can say is that more mistakes will be made, doubts will torment Chelsie but in the happiness of things friends will find love. But in the end everything comes together and a happily ever after is found and a family is formed.

Captivated on 5th Avenue was an exceptional read. Ian and Chelsie’s relationship went through rocky waves but in a relationship there will be small waves and big waves but in the end it’s so worth it. These two characters grew so much, the story became so big and Ms. St. Claire writing skills excelled. Chelsie and Ian’s passion was explosive and sensual. I loved it when I could see Ian coming back to his old self again. The amount of emotions that I felt while reading this book were so many of course I shed a couple of tears and there were times that I just sighed because they were just perfect for each other. Then there were times that I wanted to hit Ian over the head so he could rethink what he was doing and at times I felt that way with Chelsie. She was a beautiful woman that found love and she needed to quit thinking about the past. Her ex-husband needed to get out of her head because Ian was not him not an inch. I loved all the characters in this story and I really would like to know what’s going to happen to Jason and Sabrina. Then there was Mick and Izzy happy newlyweds but love to know a little more how their relationship flourished so quickly and how they handled their sadness.

I love reading a story where I am able to connect with the characters. I love it when the story is detailed and I am able to get lost in the vivid scenes and the emotions of the characters. Ms. St. Claire’s writing told the beautiful journey of a loving couple that no matter the situation, no matter how much time it took they were able to overcome it and live happily ever after.

I totally recommend this read. I highly recommend that if you haven’t read Conflicted on 5th Avenue then read Complicated on 5th Avenue because if you start with this read first you will be lost.

My Review:

Abbie St. Claire rocked my world and had me gasping during this moving and enthralling conclusion to the 5th Avenue series. Her stories are unfailingly full of emotion, sensuality, naughty fun, and unpredictable plot twists. As with all her books, she hooked my interest from the first page and held it captive to the very last one, while always keeps me wishing there was just a little bit more once I get there. I generally have mixed feelings about following a series, as I tend to forget too many salient details between installments. However, that is not the case with Ms. St. Claire's writing as her characters are intriguingly and vividly drawn and therefore, quite memorable. I admire her highly developed and well-honed skill set and remain her ever-faithful fan-girl.

As a reader I was not disappointed. We saw the ups and downs that Ian and Chelcie went through in book 1 and 2 but it's nothing compared to what they go through in this book. At times I wanted to knock their heads together because they were being so stubborn to see the other ones side. Ultimately we get the conclusion that we want. It did leave me wanting more of the other characters. Great conclusion to the series.

I just finished book 3 of of this series and I enjoyed reading this from book 1 to book 3 .combining families can't be easy. And we see that with this couple they had a lot of ups and downs but they made it through.Once they came together and talked about being honest about their feelings they got better.Real life is not sunshine without rain, and that's why I love this series so much. She gave us fictional characters in her books that mirrors real life.Got books are wonderful and I will keep reading and you keep writing.

Great Trilogy

Likable characters, flaws and all. Action flows smoothly and logically; no gaps and plot doesn’t get bogged down. These are real people with problems but love conquers all!

After reading the last book complicated by Ms. Abbie St. Claire and being so utterly disappointed with it I was very apprehensive to read this book. I was so upset and disheartened by the anti-hero Ian that it was going to take a lot to prove to me that the guy is even worth it. Plus this isn’t a book you can pick up and just read without reading the others in the 5th series it can’t really stand alone but trust me your going to love it anyway. You go from totally loving the hero to absolutely hating him to falling in love with him again seriously what an emotional roller coaster you’re on. I am beginning to slowly discover this wonderful new author Ms. St. Claire well new to me anyway and she throws me a curve ball in the last book and I was all ready to give up on this series I couldn’t leave it like that. I had to finish the story and finally figure out if the female protagonist ends up with someone worthy of her maybe even another male protagonist. Boy was I wrong to even doubt Ms. St. Claire in the first place because I forgive all the bad things I thought about Ian. The thing I figured out about with Ms. St. Claire is she writes characters whether they are major or minor are ones that stick with you. Whether you love them or hate them you are definitely going to feel something that is a guarantee!
Ian Briggs has left Chelsie Peterson bitter, alone and pregnant running away secretly to drug rehab but he doesn’t know that and neither does Chelsie. No one really knows that he’s in rehab much less drug rehab except for us of course. Plus all previous attempts that Chelsie has tried to get him back have been unsuccessful. Chelsie does wonder is Ian really worth it but she has to tell him that she is pregnant so goes to find him. When Chelsie finds him she is shocked to find him in a drug rehabilitation center hiding from the world but not everything is roses and romance when Chelsie finally tells Ian that she is pregnant. Can Ian finally become the man willing to fight for Chelsie and prove his love to her?
As I said before that I couldn’t stand Ian in the previous book and I was all ready to hate him in this book but another plot twist and he is totally back to being a wonderful book boyfriend. I now understand Ian and despite my dislike I realize that he doesn’t do things halfway. Ian is passionate, brash, scared of what he feels but also real. Ms. St. Claire really knows how to write these characters that have inspired so much emotion in me. Come on the last book I was so upset I wanted to throw my kindle fire out the window and never read again about Ian Briggs now okay yes I want to hit him over the head but I still love him. Chelsie was everything a strong independent woman should be. Yes she’s upset but still gets up in the morning and faces whatever odds are against her especially in the fact that she is pregnant I really do admire that. Yes I did want more especially in the continuation of some minor characters but I felt satisfied with how everything worked out and that’s why I rated the book so high at five stars really it deserves more. I can highly recommend this book after reading the first two in the series conflicted and complicated, will keep it in my book library to read again and will definitely get more books from Ms. St. Claire!

I was given an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is the final installment in the 5th Avenue Series.

In this installment we learn what has been happening with Ian since his accident. After Ian's last visit with Chelsie he leaves behind more than his heart. Chelsie is once again devastated when she wakes and Ian is gone but she knows she has to start moving on if not for herself but for her son. Ian is in a treatment facility in another state getting treatment for substance abuse. One thing he never told Chelsie was in his past he had a problem with drugs but overcame it when he was the sole support of his son. When he was treated for his accident no one knew of his addiction and he ended up relapsing. Its after he lashes out at his son that he seeks treatment.

Chelsie is consumed with work and making sure friends and family don't see her pain that she doesn't even realize that she was pregnant with Ian's baby. Having no way to contact him after he made it plain he didn't want any contact with her she doesn't say anything to anyone about her condition. When the truth does come out she makes everyone promise to let her be the one to tell Ian. Ian's therapist tries to get him to go home his treatment is done and all he is doing now is hiding from things he needs to face. Chelsie has been struggling with a lot of things and having issues come to head with her ex just makes her want to see Ian more. A single request from her son sends her to the grandparents Ian introduced her to only to find out Oliver has been living a couple blocks away for months now.

After Chelsie tracks down Ian she is going to make him face everything he has been hiding from starting with her. Not knowing where she was walking into Chelsie is surprised to learn Ian is being treated for drug addiction but it doesn't stop her from needing to see him. When Ian finds out everything that has been going on he is ready to leave. Will Ian and Chelsie be able to find their way back to each other with everything that has happened? You'll have to read the book to find out but its really worth the read. This was a complete emotional journey for two people that are struggling to raise their children on their own. Mix in dating, family issues and a crazy ex- husband this will take you on a wild ride. I really enjoyed reading this series and highly recommend this to anyone that loves losing themselves in a great love story.

description

I started reading this series a couple days ago and had to blow through all of them until I was done with all 3 currently out. Captivated on 5th Avenue is the newest story in this series and continues where the previous book left off. In book 2 we were left with a pretty big cliffhanger. And I absolutely had to see what happened next. I had to see what, if any, resolution would be given for the situation Chelsie and Ian found themselves in. At the end of book 2 I also found myself not much of a fan of Ian. I am very happy to say that I really enjoyed this book, I got the answers I was looking for, and Ian is back in my good graces.

At first I was leery. I had so many questions. Would Chelsie let Ian off the hook too easily? Would Ian just continue hurting Chelsie? Would Chelsie decided that maybe Jason was the better man for her? What was really going on with Ian and how would he react to the bombshell dropped at the end of the previous book? Now while I won't give any of the answers to those questions here because I don't want to give any spoilers, I will say that we get answers to all those and more. I liked the way things were handled between the couple and just when I was starting to think that maybe things were being resolved too quickly, more twists and turns were thrown into the mix keeping me hooked and invested in the story.

This was another very well written story by this author and a fantastic stopping point for the time being. I do hope that the series will be continued and show us what happens to some of the secondary characters I came to really like along the way. I would recommend this story, however I warn anyone starting from the beginning to be prepared to want to blow through all 3 books as quickly as possible. Every book pulled me in deeper, driving me to see what happens next.

Abbie St. Claire has created a passionate love story about two soul mates fighting insurmountable odds in order to become whole. "Captivated on 5th Avenue" will keep you enthralled with not only criminal acts, but answers to some long wondered questions, and the inevitable realization that a free fall into absolute Trust is needed. This last installment of the 5th Avenue series wraps up with near fatal situations and a family made whole. Just as in life, Ms. St. Claire does not attempt to depict an ideal and perfect ever after, but a future of ups and downs and promises of Communications and happy memories to come. The reader sees that the characters have been growing and some have deeply buried issues that were well hidden along with their insecurities. But the theme of this installment is growing, trusting, and communicating be it within yourself, with your friends, and or family. Of all of the books in the series, I believe that this has the most layers and has the reader worrying for the characters and questioning why some are falling back into old patterns.
There are a lot of twists and turns in "Captivated on 5th Avenue" and even though promises are made - disappearing acts are still performed. The dangers are frightening and the stressors are exhausting. Abbie St. Claire comes up with seriously racy and steamy pregnancy sex. But the bottom-line is that at the end of the day the most important thing in a relationship, be it marriage, family, or friends, is Trust and Communication. Without that you are on your own and the world is a dangerous place to be without someone whose got your back. I do hope Ms. St. Claire revisits 5th Avenue, and it wouldn't surprise me, there are more stories that are waiting to be told.

This novel is the conclusion to Chelsie and Ian's romance on 5th avenue. Chelsie finally realizes that she has to tell Ian she is pregnant so she takes her son Ty's advice and hunts down his in-laws to discover he is in Montana in rehab. Well, this certainly explains some of Ian's volatile and controlling behaviour and the alarm bells that kept going off in my head in the previous 2 novels.
Chelsie choosing Ian whom she hasn’t seen in months except when he snuck into her house and got her pregnant and then left before dawn makes no sense to me. He has been volatile and unpredictable including showing up after Chelsie’s equally unpredictable stunt with Jason to lure him back. I don’t see the growth in Ian to warrant choosing him and having a happily ever after. When altercations happen between their sons, they seem to come out of the blue with no hint anything was ever wrong. Then Ian overreacts as usual in a scary way. Chelsie handled it well with the exception of not talking to him first but then later blames herself for handling it badly also and spoiling Ty. Nothing in the story backed those observations up. Chelsie blames herself equally for their problems but no mentally healthy person would think that. Furthermore, this novel, like the first is direly in need of professional editing. Words are missing from sentences making them hard to follow, verbs are incorrectly conjugated, and the elements of the story needed to illustrate the point are missing or weak.
The author has done a great job of coming up with a complex story line that has a great potential. It would be a great series with some professional assistance to help assist the author in making her point come across more clearly.

I received an ARC of this book for my honest review.

I couldn't wait to get my hands on this one after reading all the other books in this series. The previous book Complicated On 5th Avenue ends on a bit of a cliffhanger so I was eager to carry on. Captivated picks up where the last book left off with Chelsie and her son Ty all alone finding that she's pregnant and deciding not to tell anyone about it. Ian's off goodness knows where when he should be with his new family. I really dislike Ian now I just wanted to throw my kindle at his stupidness! I really feel for Chelsie she's so distraught and it's making her sick.

There are quite a few twists and turns in this story, and one thing is clear throughout running away is not the answer, wish Ian would take his head out of the sand sooner and realise this himself! Once the couple are reunited the chemistry is hotter than ever but they have a long long way to go before they can become what they were before. Toward the end Ian redeemed himself some what, but I just couldn't get over all what he'd put poor Chelsie through and still dislike him but not as much!

This story had some really heartfelt moments when I was on the verge of tears, Abbie St. Claire definitely knows how to tug on our emotions with her beautiful words. A great ending to this couples story. Four stars

The third and concluding book in the 5th Avenue Romance series, Captivated picks up where Complicated left off. This is not a standalone book--you definitely want to have read the first two books before starting this one. Ian is struggling to put the pieces of his life back together after a skiing accident shatters his arm and destroys his career, leaving him feeling unworthy of love. Chelsie and her son Ty were badly hurt when Ian pushed them away after his accident. Pregnant, Chelsie has to decide if giving Ian one more chance is worth the risk to herself and her son after the rebuffs she's already suffered.

One of the things I like about this series is the great cast of supporting characters; we get to see bits of them moving forward with their lives in the background of the main story and it adds a nice time of realism. I also liked how the author showed Ian and Chelsie working through real issues as they tried to blend their families. While I was never sure just what is going to happen next, plot wise, a few things did feel a little repetitive as Chelsie and Ian continued some of the same negative behaviors we saw in the first two books and I would have liked to have seen a little more growth there. It was a nice conclusion for the series though, and I would read more by this author. 4 stars

This is the conclusion to Ian & Chelsie's story. Chelsie has finally had enough & wants to track Ian down to either end their relationship or get back together for good. She also wants to put an end to all of the lies their relationship seems based on. Ian has been in rehab & doesn't feel he deserves to either be happy or have Chelsie in his life. They continue to have struggles & have to work hard at changing their reactions & how they deal with the situations. Will their love win out? Or will the lies & betrayal be too much? Has Chelsie's trust in Ian been permanently damaged?

Abbie has written a very compelling story about the journey a couple takes while discovering their path. There are twists & turns throughout the entire story as the characters deal with depression, love, lies & abandonment. With both main characters having children, they also must try to minimize the effect of the relationship from the kids. This is not a book that can be read as a stand alone. There is too much of the backstory in the previous two books & you would be lost without that information.

I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest opinion.

Arc was received in exchange for an honest review, firstly I would like to apologise for the delay with my review. Life with 3 children, work and running a home has been more hectic then usual as of late.

Ok so the main characters Chelsie and Ian are both single parents who become neighbours and fall in love. However their own issues keep stopping the relationship from working out.
This book concentrates on the pregnancy and how they both handle the situation.
The whole series has felt really dragged out and very choppy. Too much information about businesses thrown around which nobody enjoys reading. The story line is good, and with some work could actually be really great, as I love the idea of 2 single parents meeting and falling in love. But there was too much petty drama thrown in for my liking. There's no humour at all and a few twists throughout the series that just didn't fit in right for me. Also do these people ever look after their own kids? It felt like the children were constantly with babysitters. One thing I must say is I really like the covers, but probably more so than I actually liked the books themselves.

This one was so good that I was so conflicted when it ended!!! It was just the perfect way to end the series. I really loved that it wasn't your usual love story that everything perfect and issues magically somve themselves. This book is deep and it touches your heart in ways a book never had touched mine. After the tragic events of Complicated on 5th Avenue, Chelsie is left to pick up her pieces and try to move on. As always, that's easier said than done, since she has an unexpected angle to consider. Ian is still battling his monsters, but Chelsie won't give up on him. Their road to recovery and healing is long, but totally worth it at the end. Brace yourselves because your are going to reach the top of the emotional roller coaster with this one, and the ride down is going to be painfully beautiful and amazing. Totally loved it, so sad to see it end. I hope a spinoff is on the works ;-).

I was given an Arc for my honest Review.

This is the third book in the On 5th Avenue series. This picks up where the nice little cliffhanger left off.

Chelsie is still trying to live without Ian while she keeps her pregnancy secret. Ian is who knows where being an ass. Jason is still in this story and a few other wonderful characters pop up. This book has been beautifully written to tie up many ends. The history of Carson the arsehole comes to a conclusion. Ian eventually comes around and redeems himself to Chelsie. Of course, I will not tell you how. There are some events that happen that are upsetting for a certain couple characters. I enjoy seeing how they continue to grow from their experience. This is a quick read. Easy flowing and well written.

This book ends in a HEA. Abbie has done a wonderful job to make this a beautiful story. I look forward to addition character books. 5stars!

This a wonderful ending to a great romantic series.
Chelsie has found out she's pregnant so she is going to visit Ian in rehab and work things out or call it quits she wants answers but it's not the kind of rehab she expecting. Ian finally tells her his secrets and issues from the past and they go home together.
Trying to become a family is hard being step parents can be hard so they have ups and downs. Carson is causing problems but at least still behind bars. There are some unexpected twist and of course Ian wants to run away as usual but will he come to his senses or will he lose his chance at having a real family with the woman he loves? Chelsie is such an amazing heroin in this book she has learned to stand up for who and what she wants and she has to work hard to make Ian see what he has to lose. Lots of hot love making going on. Love this book great ending don't want to spoil it. It's a must read.

Having Chelsie struggle with her love for a man who is now absent leaves her with self doubt. Ian is where her heart lies. She loves her son Ty, and is now faced with a great challenge.
She's gone so far as to hire a pretend boyfriend but will Ian even stir from his absence. The truth is he's known all along about how Chelsie is doing. She is surrounded by great friends and support. Finally taking life by the reigns, she seeks out Ian only to tell him she is in love and there may be more.
They love each other so much, this can only end in a happily ever after.
Romance, steamy scenes, and a love no one can break makes for an amazing love story.

I received an ARC in return for an honest review.
This is the final conclusion of Ian and Chelsie's story.
Abbie St. Claire's writing of these three books were phenomenal.
A perfect ending to an amazing story.
Chelsie needed to find Ian to let him know of her pregnancy. She is
tired of telling lies of her condition to her friends. She was surprised
to find Ian at a drug rehab facility. His accident re triggered his dependency
on drugs due to the pain and the fact that he cannot practice medicine again.
Chelsie wanted a fresh start with no lies between them. In every relationship,
there are ups and downs which have put them to the test regarding their sons.
Will their love be strong enough to move forward in bringing with both families
together as a whole. This is a must read. I absolutely loved the story.

Wow , just, Wow.
I could not wait to read Captivated on 5th Avenue after reading and loving the other two books .
Captivated on 5th Avenue is the third book in the On 5th Avenue series.
Chelsie and Ian are separated.
Chelsie is pregnant but trying to move on without Ian who abandoned her.
But life is never simple.
Tired of telling lies she goes searching for Ian to tell him the truth. She finds him at a drug rehab facility and learns he is an addict.
Ian is overjoyed about Chelsies pregnancy and they start their life together..... . But destiny strikes again.
This is an really really awesome book and an great finish.

This entire series was an amazing read. I wanted to punch Ian then I didn't. The story had my emotions all over the place but at the same time pulling for this couple who had each suffered so much as individuals and continued to meet obstacles in their relationship as well. A great story of two single parents striving to empty the skeletons out of their closets and move on with life and love. Chelsie stands firm in her love for Ian but definitely stands firmer for herself and her son. When it all boils down to it she stands as a strong woman fighting for what she has determined she wants refusing to listen to the people around her. A very strong and poignant read by Ms St Clair that we all can relate to. This wasn't a simple romance with a happy ending like true life it was an ending that was fought for tooth and nails.

Each of the three books in this series led to the great epilogue at the end. Chelsie and Ian went through so much before they ended up with a great family of children and friends. The second book made me feel Chelsie's angst with the way Ian treated her and this last in the series made me cry and finally cheer at their ending. The challenges they faced were very realistic and the writer's attention to detail and compassion for her characters shone throughout.

This was a series that I raced through each book and loved every minute. I lost a few hours sleep to finish the second book and picked up the third the next morning. Try this series if you like heated scenes and issues faced by a couple individually and together!

I was sent this book in return for an honest review..

Oh wow!! This rollercoaster never stops!! Up, down, up down, as life does.. and as life does, we laugh, cry and develop like and dislikes with the characters we are following.. in this case Chelsie and Ian.

I love the justice, warmth and sheer joy in this book. The flow makes the story so easy to follow - and fall into.

I found this trilogy conflicting, complicated and captivating and think the rollercoaster ride would have been even more intense if all the books were read one after another - with no break.

Abbie St. Claire has very quickly become one of favourite authors and I love the writing style. Here's to hoping we hear more from the 5th Avenue Crew in the future - no pressure Abbie!

Gifted an ARC for an honest review....
This is the conclusion to the 5th Ave Series by Abbie St Claire. I loved the first 2 books and enjoyed the conclusion to Chelsie and Ian's story. As always, Abbie is a thoughtful writer, who builds the story brick by brick. The book was well paced, compelling, interesting from start to finish. But, it lost a star from me on the last stupid Ian stunt. Sorry, that would have put me over the edge, love of my life or not. Chelsie is a better person than I, but maybe that's why she's fictional. All in all I loved the series, Abbie remains one of my favorite authors and this book is another winner.

This is the conclusion of Chelsie and ians story and it was well worth the wait. After all the ups and downs this couple went through in the first 2 books I did wonder if they would ever get their happy ever after! I had moments where I didn't like either Chelsie or Ian, but by the end of the book I loved them both. The author does a wonderful job with this book, I was taken on a journey with this couple and spat out at the end! I hope we get more books in this series so we find out what happens with the other characters in this story. A great end to a fab series.

After the cliffhanger in book two we finally get some closure. In this book we see Ian and Chelsie struggle to come to terms with their pasts and figure out their futures.

This book had me hooked from the start of the book. We get to watch as Ian and Chelsie try and handle the everyday struggles of blending two families while still figuring out who they are as individuals. The book has suspense, romance, heartache and happily ever afters! I am very pleased to have had the chance to read this book and look forward to reading more from Abbie St. Claire!

A nice ending to a romantic series, problems were solved, (most) questions answered and hearts were mended. Everything was wrapped up nicely and the characters we grew to know came out stronger and together. Overall I was happy with this ending, Ian still was his moody self, seriously he is like a PMSing woman and his moods were all over the place. Chelsie proved she could survive with or without him and her conference grew. The storyline is fast paced and written in an easy to read style. Look forward to more from the supporting characters.

Chelsie and Ian hands down belong together but man do they have their work cut out for them. These two were so back and forth with their lack of communication and their past insecurities that they allowed it to make them ugly at times. I'm glad things played out the way they did in all areas of the series. I loved all the secondary characters and felt a completion with them as well. This definitely had me captivated.
