Chris Pike grew up in the woodlands of central Texas and along the Texas Gulf Coast, fishing, hunting, hiking, camping, and dodging hurricanes and tropical storms. Chris has learned that the power of Mother Nature is daunting, from floods to category five hurricanes, to slippery ice or desert conditions. It pays to be prepared.

Currently living in Houston, Texas, Chris is married, has two grown daughters, one dog and unfortunately three overweight, demanding cats.

Chris is an avid supporter of the Second Amendment and has held a Texas concealed carry permit since 1998, with the Glock being the current gun of choice.

The main characters throughout the first four books are brought together in a life or death struggle against a foreign invading force. Their courage, skills, and patriotism will be put to the test. One amongst them will betray them to the enemy knowing lives will be lost. And, an unlikely hero will emerge.

Pike’s fifth novel in The EMP Survivor Series, Undefeated World: A Post Apocalyptic/Dystopian Survival Fiction Series is the final book in this series. It’s hardcore survival from the very beginning. The pace is fast making it an all too quick read.

Unlike the first couple of books in this series, the editing wasn’t as thorough. There were continuity issues within the first chapters. I find that confusing and it makes me go back and reread passages to make certain of the timeline. Having the animals presented as humanlike characters dumbs down the reading level to that of junior high.

It is a good series and I hate to see it end.

3 out of 5 stars for the editing mistakes.

I struggled between 3 & 4 stars on this final book. 3 1/2 stars is probably more what I feel. The location of the story was enjoyable. It wasn’t a big city or the Midwest, it was different enough from where I live to be interesting. The characters were likable & were more than poster board people. Yet... there were a few things I didn’t like.

Some others have mentioned the narrative with the animals. I just didn’t enjoy this. I’m certainly glad everyone made it to the end, but... Even when Dillon had battle damage, he seems to bounce back pretty quick. The Russians appeared too comic-bookish.

Overall the series has been fun. A little diversion from day to day reality. I do appreciate that the story was pretty family friendly. Thanks for that.

I have enjoyed most books in this series, but this one not so much. A lot of this story seemed to be pretty predictable and the most of the bad guys were very one dimensional. I don't remember too many writing errors in the other books, but this one had a few, though honestly not terrible ones. The plot line to bring all of the various characters together seemed a bit contrived and not quite believable. Buster sure got a lot of story to himself and I figured more to come of it than he simply finds home again.
Overall this has been a good series and in many ways, deserved a little better ending.

The Three Fs for sure!

What a finishing Hoorah! When it all comes together it really does come together well. This final episode saves the good guys, ends the bad guys, and throws a couple of surprising twists to ensure things are exciting enough. Exciting enough? I’m exhausted battling alongside the men and women of this apocalypse. I bet the animals need a rest as well. Just for the record, Buster is not a coward! Everyone has a breaking point. Do read this story. Faith, Family and Firearms!

A very good ending to the series

Overall,I really enjoyed this book. There were a few things that bugged me, such as the fact that the characters conveniently came together at just the right moment repeatedly and how things came together so easily for the rescue. However, I still enjoyed this book thoroughly and the series in general was a good one.

Great Ending to the Series

We'll written, likeable characters. Gotta love when the good guys win and the bad guys lose. After reading some really bloody, gory, post-apocalyptic(sp?) fiction, it's refreshing to read a series like this...realistic without too much focus on gore and blood.

A great adventure

This book makes me very happy about reading the whole EMP series. I appreciate how the author provided closure and made the series as a large story with a proper ending.
This last book has a lot of action, chiefly combat. It tells a story of bravery, perseverance and sacrifice. It's inspiring and a great read.

Hurry for us, the US!!!

The perfect end to a fantastic series! The ending left room for numerous spinoffs and I can't wait to see what Chris might do later on. Gonna throw in a quick plug for the second amendment. It is under attack like no other time in our history and folks it's time to STAND AND FIGHT! REMEMBER THE ALAMO! REMEMBER GOLIAD!

Good series

Enjoyed this series and especially all of the great characters, even if I did get confused as to who was who a couple of times. Would like to hear that some of the people will come back in future books.

Getting through.

Chris some readers don’t like f bombs and adult situations but a whole bunch of us do. It’s realistic. Have you heard young people talk these days? Great ending to a wonderful series.

Post Apocalypse

Not so technical as far as books go. I think the ways an animal is so introspective is a bit much. With all of the negatives out of way it was a fun and decent read. I will continue to read Chris Pike

All the books in the series were interesting and fun to read. I had read the first four months ago. So read them again and this time I could finish the series. Really enjoyed them again.
