Amber has always been an extra shoulder to cry on for all her friends. Whenever her friends have a problem, they come to her, but none of them know about the trials that she faces internally. After three years of her absence, Amber is forced to face her problems. Mending broken bridges and making new friends all seems well in her life. Although her social life seems to be on the right track, her private life is falling apart. What happens when she comes home to find her mother gone, and she’s left to face the consequences of her mother’s sudden disappearance? How will Amber react to this? Who will she vent to? With life constantly changing around her, who can she run to?
Andre is a handsome young man who works hard for what he has. He’s not like the rest of the young men out there who feel like they have to join a gang to survive. He’s proud of the fact that he works for the things he has, but he also believes in getting what he wants, even if it might cause him to lose the one thing that loves the most. Will he be her hero and someone for her to confide in, or will he turn out to be like the other destructive men in her life?
Lord I have to say Hands down this is in my top 3 books. Bring on Part 2. I honestly feel that Amber has a valid point. Her dad always expressed his loved for Nikki and wanted her.. now that they share Jessica p, keeping Amber was hindering him from his rightful family. He’s wrong for treating her like that and I hope she moved away and forget them all
I was so enjoying this book until everything went wrong for Amber I really loved the relationship that she had with Andre they were in love until his mama and her dad got in it I'm still hoping that they make it work because she deserves happiness and I don't trust Blake can't wait for part two.
I enjoyed this read. First time reading this authors work. I really liked it. This book was good from beginning to end. I hope Amber gets her happy ending.
A good read, but the title just doesn't fit the story within. None of these little boys are savages, young and immature but savage NOT. the story is well written and the secrets of the parents is a mess, Amber is a book smart, beautiful BBW but her father wouldn't let her live the life of a teenager and his past come back to haunt her. On to part two
