Very technical

I have read all of the Sam Prichard books so far but this was too technical for me. I got tired of reading all of the things that the piece could do. I like to read for relaxation.

Another great Sam and Indie adventure The blend of fact and fiction in these books is very enjoyable Beauregard the ghost is a neat way to explain how Sam gets out of his adventures I recommend it to fans of detective/ mystery fans and look forward to the next book in the series The implications of the use/ misuse of AI in the story adds a good twist to Sams’ continuing adventures I liked the blend of just enough reality to add to the story and the cast of characters Sam’s extended family adds a bit of humor to this book

There are a couple of spots in the story where a character does something that made me think now that was a dumb move but over all the author manages to tie it all up in the end I look forward to the next adventure

The latest Book in the Sam Pritchard/ Indie series was a combination of The Matrix, Mission Impossible and the Terminator. Sam takes a job with a Cyber Security Company that specializes in Industrial, Cyber espionage. Sam is hired to run their Investigation Department. The first case is straight out of the Matrix and The Terminator series. In San Francisco a Doctor who has invented a chip that once inserted into the Brain will allow that person unlimited powers and abilities. The Doctor and his accomplice are murdered. Sam is hired to find the missing chip. The author really understands the Technology of the future and the dangers associated with it. Great storyline and it would make an awesome movie.

Very disappointing

I have been one of David Archer's most Avid fans! I have read every book that is written and particularly enjoy the wolf series and have, up until this one, enjoy the Sam Prichard series. This book, was so badly written that I couldn't even finish it. It just was not exciting! It was definitely not what I expected from David Archer. I will continue to read his books but I hope that he improves from this point forward.

I like the Sam Pritchard books. The characters are fun, (especially "Indie, and the two ladies) and interesting. Mr Archer tends to drag the plot a bit and his details about everything are sometimes more than I need to know. But, drag or not, the plot is exciting, scary to consider, and a good read. Ohhhhh, I forgot how much fun "Beauregard" and his premonitions are! A fun bit of plot twist.

I will continue to be a fan!

Sam Prichard character saves the world,,, again!

Soit has been a minute since I have read any Sam Prichard but not long after I started, I remembered why I like David Archer's books so much. If you like Sam Pritchard you will like Brave New World. If you've never read A David Archer novel, Brave New World can be a stand alone story, but I do recommend reading the series in order to understand character development and just how Sam Prichard became know for saving the world.

Best book yet I think. I love the new tack the author took by changing the direction of Sam's journey and adding so many new characters I have trouble keeping up with them. This one can scare you a little about the future of technology the way Terminator did. I loved it so much and the end was so exciting I blew off the fact I had to go to work the next morning and read it all night until the conclusion. Awesome book.

No more Sam Prichard for me!

David Archer is now beating a dead horse give it up David. This book gave me a headache and the only reason I finished it is because I am tenacious. It was ponderous, convoluted and contrived. I used to be a fan but now I feel like I am also a dead horse being beaten by Archer.

This book about the world in the future does generate a lot of questions. "What's to come is still unsure..." Shakespeare . The questions are coming home to us now. I like Sam and his family. When things turn dangerous you need a champion. I enjoy David Archer's books and can't wait for the next case.

Really good novel

A wake up call as to the dangers of artificial intelligence as well as to the many potential benefits. How to create a set of rules as to how to manage it and control it will be a challenge.
The characters and plot are fast paced and believable.
Sit back and enjoy.

Control the World, hmmmm

Simply put, the rating is because Mr. Archer knows what the people want. He either is very tech savvy,or he did his research. Lots of technology throughout this book, and the new characters are not at all what you would expect. Awesome read, and what a way to spend a day with your nose in a book. Bring on book 16

Great plot well done

I really enjoyed this one. Had a new cast of characters and story that’s right on point with what could be done today. A bit too much preaching but story was good. I actually had the bad guy pegged 1/2 way but archer threw a smoke screen up and diverted my conclusions. Great ending!

Great read. Makes you wonder what the medical field is working on in collaboration with the government at times.
What we can only dream of today, is real in a few years.
Sam and the team are spot on and find ways to try and defeat this madman.
It was a shocker on who it was, and I won't spoil it for you.

To catch a madman, you must identify him first!

From corporate espionage to medical advances, this story has it all and much more. When people start dying mysteriously, Sam is pulled back into action. There are some interesting forays in to bio-ethics and what should be considered as our technology advances.

David said at the beginning that this was his longest book so far but he thought it was his best.
I am more than pleased to agree with him.
This was an outstanding piece of action thriller writing and firmly places the duo of Indie and Sam at the top of my favorite reads.
Well recommended.

Brave New World

I could not give this book a five star review. It just wasn't the same type story line like the rest of the books in this series.. As a matter of fact the story line did not appeal to me at all. Hope the next book in the series is much better.

New job for Prichard

Even with a new title with a brew team Sam Prichard is still a top notch P.I. The plot and characters are a little different, but the results are still the same.
