Summary:

After the war, Hermione Granger becomes a healer and is asked by Headmistress Mcgonagall to come to Hogwarts to teach a much needed Biology curriculum to the students. Draco Malfoy, the Potions teacher, doesn't approve of Hermione's sex ed curriculum, claiming it is too vulgar.

A bet ensues. They will teach the class together but Draco will teach students the magical 'old ways' and Hermione will teach them muggle sex ed. Whoever's information the students retain the most wins. But as these old rivals spend more time together, sexual tension and passions run high. Perhaps both Draco and Hermione can learn a thing or two from each other. 😉

My Thoughts:

There's smut, but there's also some plot! I'm going to lead with this since I know many will just assume this story is all sex. But that's simply not true. There's a good amount but a lot of the story centers around the progression of Draco and Hermione's relationship, as well as some light-hearted drama with their students, Professor Neville Longbottom, and Ron. These situations are mostly humorous and only add to the entertainment.

I enjoyed the Dramione dynamic. The fact Draco is a prude and Hermione is the sexually adventurous one is hysterical!!! And since Draco hasn't had sex in six months and Hermione hasn't in two years, both are extremely sexually frustrated. 😂 To top it all off, there's the enemies to lovers aspect, however, it's more playful than angsty. This Dramione combo is the perfect recipe for sexual tensions and hot, hot sex.

Sex scenes were well written and extremely sexy. 🥵 I read this on an airplane, and would not recommend because it's way too spicy for a public place (LOL). Hermione has Draco make a 'sex wishlist' for them to accomplish together, and many items on this list could be considered adventurous: bondage, wax play, dom/sub, role play, water sex, etc. Believe me, I'm not into reading about kinky sh*t but this was written in a tamer sort of way that didn't make me feel uncomfortable.

Love the sex positivity! Obviously, this story centers around the topic of sex, but not just smut. We actually get to see how Draco and Hermione navigate real conversations with students on the topic of sex ed, and honestly, it was well done. It was great seeing these topics held in a healthy manner where there is no sex shaming either when Draco and Hermione are teaching or when they are experimenting together.


Overall, Sex Ed is a riot! It's the perfect amount of smut, fluff, romance, humor, and drama. It was extremely enjoyable to read and definitely added to my list of re-reads.

I have been missing Manacled so much and needed a little lighthearted Dramione pick me up. This one was full of hilarious and sweet moments between our beloved star crossed lovers. My love for Dramione fanfics is never going to wilt, is it? I really thought I'd grow out of it, but here I am rereading a seven-year-old fanfic and loving every second.

Both Hermione and Draco are professors at Hogwarts, and Headmistress McGonagall has tasked Professor Granger to teach an advanced Sex Ed class during her first semester there. When Professor Malfoy sees the curriculum though, his puritanical, outdated pureblood standards are outraged. They completely disagree as to what is and isn't proper to discuss in a classroom, which has them taking a bet to see who can be the best Sex Ed teacher.

This whole fic is just fluff on smut on fluff... and I couldn't love it more. The lemons in this thing are so strong some might even confuse them for limes lol. But, seriously, one of the best non-dark, smutty fics I've ever read.

And, yes, this is a reread. And I will probably reread it again in a couple of years.

Just something so satisfying about these Dramione stories. The tension, banter and forced proximity between these two was great.

Draco and Hermione running a sex ed class for Hogwarts students…what a great set up. Fell in love with all the little moments they spent together (coffee date). And how much Draco resisted his attraction, but ran to her when he realised she was moving on.

“So, I’m putting my foot down. No, Professor Granger. I shan’t fool around with you. My modesty is too important to me”

“Just because you decided to work up the nerve to ask me on a date yourself? Looks like you have competition, Professor Malfoy”

Beyond the ‘experiments’ they conduct together, they are extremely cute and I had a fun time (Great Hall incident) consuming this story.

“You’re never quite alone when you’ve got a good book”

Side note - this story also perfectly highlights my distaste for Ron.

5⭐️ FUNNY fanfic! I truly enjoyed this enemies to lovers fix even though I’m not a fan of the trope. Draco a prude?? No! But it was hilarious him discovering his traditional programming when Hermione comes to teach a Sex Ed course. I loved how the relationship felt like it progressed naturally but in a shorter fic. The sex scenes were AMAZING and definitely included adventurous and praise kink. I liked it so much I wish the author would write a follow up to it!

Eh.. mixed bag for this one. Things I liked- 1/ Dramione are Hogwarts professors 2/ Sex Ed conversation with the kids was nicely done 3/ Good smut

Things I didn’t care for: 1/ unnecessary misunderstanding with the Neville and Ron plotline 2/ characters seemed very immature 3/ Not too many tender butterflies moments

Overall, this story is quite middle of the road. Giving it 3 solid stars.
