I'd seen this book on my timeline quite a few time, I read the blurb and decided to give it ago. I really liked this box set, I have one small issue which was I found book 3 a little hard to get through, there were parts I felt were filler, But parts 1 and 2 blew me away, I felt so many different emotions, I was taken on an amazing journey with Flynn and Valerie and watched them go from nothing to everything. I loved the writing and within 3 pages I was hooked. I would defiantly recommend this to anyone looking for a rockstar book. And I really like the ending and where it ended.

Ready For Flynn (Ready For Flynn #1) by K.L. Shandwick

I haven’t read this series before so I went in blind to this listen. Wow, where do I start.? From the first chapter I was fully engaged as to what was happening with Valerie Darsin and Flynn Docherty.
Reeling from a devastating event in her life, Valerie has no one to turn to until Flynn makes a re appearance in her life just when she needs him the most. What an emotional roller coaster of a listen this book was and I freely admit to shedding a few tears along with some laughter.
The narration from Anne Marie Damman was extremely good and really brought the story to life for me as I listened. The only thing that would have made this even better was if it had been done in duet narration, but that is just my personal preference.
This was a story with heart and soul and it really got to me on a number of levels. Loved this one from start to finish and cannot wait to dive in to more in the series.

Picking up where book one left off, this was an emotional roller coaster of a read that will most definitely get to you. I loved it from the first to the last chapter.
From the first chapter I was fully engaged as to what was happening with Valerie Darsin and Flynn Docherty. They have been through so much and the journey continues with us and downs that will test them not only as individuals but also as a couple.
The narration from Anne Marie Damman was extremely good and really brought the story to life for me as I listened. The only thing that would have made this even better was if it had been done in duet narration, but that is just my personal preference.
K.L. Shandwick has a style of writing about her that will draw you in and keep you invested as the story progresses. I cannot wait to listen to part 3.

Picking up where book two left off, this was an emotional story that was a fitting conclusion to the series.
It takes a lot of hard work to make a relationship successful and Valerie Darsin and Flynn Docherty certainly were tested time and again. You cannot help but come to care for the characters, they are human and vulnerable and I loved that Ms. Shandwick was not afraid to let that shine through.
The narration by Anne Marie Damman really brought the story to life for me as I listened and she certainly added to my listening pleasure of this powerful and emotional story.
There were many tears shed as I listened to this story but it was well worth every one of them. This series is one with heart and soul and it really got to me on a number of levels.

I have read this book previously and loved it and to be honest I wasn’t sure if the narrator could do this great book justice, boy was I wrong to doubt her because Anne Marie Damian did a fantastic job bringing this emotional roller coaster to life. This book had all the feels and listening to it bought all those feels back again and I found myself falling head over heels once again for Valerie Darwin and Flynn Docherty love story. I was captivated from the first chapter, I laughed and I shed a few tears as I found myself drawn into a story that touched me on so many levels. I will certainly be looking at listening to the rest of this series because the narration flowed so naturally at the perfect listening pace.

Anne Marie Damian does a wonderful job with the narration and she really brought the characters and their journey to life.
This is an emotional and raw story but as you would expect from the Queen of rock star romances, Ms Shandwick once again showed us that rock stars are human and at times they are vulnerable. I loved everything about this trilogy and I will certainly be reading or listening again because I will never tire of Flynn Docherty and Valerie Darsin.

This series is one of my top favourites and now you can read all three books in one box set, which is fantastic!
I actually read this entire series over one weekend. There was no way I was able to put my kindle down after being hooked from the very first chapter of part one.
Here are my reviews from each book -
Part one - I absolutely loved this book! I couldn't put it down and read it all in one day as it was that addictive. Oh the feels... what an emotional roller coaster ride this book had me on. I cannot say anymore without giving the story away and as a reader you do not want to start this book knowing anything about it. All I will say is that you have to read it.... it is so good!!
Part two - I cannot get enough of this series. I absolutely loved part two and it was still an emotional roller coaster ride that had all the feels. Love the characters, loved the story and yes I'm heading straight into part 3!!
Part three - This is the final book in the Ready for Flynn series and I have read all three parts of the series over the past couple of days. I have absolutely loved them all. This book continues the story of Flynn and Valerie and it is just as much an emotional roller coaster as the first two. It is a brilliant ending to the series and I'm quite sad that I've finished. Never knowing where the story was going to take us, I found that I didn't want to put the book down. A definite must read.

An amazing trilogy of stories looking at Flynn and Valerie's rollercoaster of a rockstar romance relationship. The three books span over a timeline of approximately 10 years seeing the growth and development of the characters within the series and how they change.
Throughout the box set Valerie and Flynn have to deal with a huge tradegy and how to overcome this, you really can understand the range of emotions and feelings portrayed within the authors writing style.
Tears have fallen and smiles and laughs shared whilst reading through this. Just didn't want to put it down.

This is my first read by Ms. Shandwick. I’m not typically a lover of a rockstar romance (I know, I know. I’m crazy). I’m also not a huge lover of a young romance (I’m too old to relate lol). But with that being said, I think KL did a good job writing this one!
Valerie and Flynn fought their feeling for years. Mainly because she was too young and secondly because being her big brother’s best friend she was off limits. Years later, after tragedy strikes and they’ve grown in their own lives they’re finally reconnected and act on their ever-growing feelings.
Loving, living and managing a rockstar is certainly not an easy task, but Valerie makes it look like the easiest job on the planet.
I enjoyed being a part of this family whilst reading <3

This boxset is Flynn and Valerie's story and what a rollercoaster of a story it is. It's not your typical rockstar romance, focusing mainly on the relationship between these two characters and Valerie's family. These books are packed full of description and when tragedy strikes, so good is the writing that we feel all the pain and anguish along with those involved. I felt great empathy for this family and admit to shedding more than a few tears. This author is wonderful at allowing her characters to grow and I love how, over the course of the series, they mature and develop.
An excellent way to read all three books and a five star bundle I definitely recommend.

This amazing trilogy spans over roughly 10 years (give or take, my maths skills are awful) and because of this long time span you really get to see these characters grow and mature. I can honestly say I could easily read another 10 years of these characters' lives and then another 10 after that. The perfect balance of happiness, anguish, angst and humour make the story impossibly easy to get lost in.
The trilogy is a very emotional journey and is written with such skill that the story flows effortlessly without feeling rushed.
The emotional attachments I formed while reading this story are deep and these characters will stay with me. This story truly was exceptional.

I am so glad I had all 3 books together as I devoured each book and didnt want to have to wait.
I've read several books by K.L. Shandwick but I have to admit, the Flynn series is so far my best and up their as one of my favourite reads of 2019.
Flynn is a bad boy rockstar and Valerie is the younger sister of Flynn's best friend and is off limits. But what Flynn wants, flynn will get and the attraction between him and Valerie is undeniable. Their journey is amazing. Yes there are ups and downs but what good love story wouldn't be complete without them.
I would recommend this series to everyone and a well.deserved 5 star read!

I liked this series but there were quite a few parts where I skimmed through pages because of all the thinking going on it their heads, that was boring to me. For the most part, it was a couldn't put it down series, but again it took me awhile to read the entire boxed set. I could have done with a little more rock star action and more intense sex scenes; which were a little repetitive and boring and lasted for pages and pages. It wasn't as good as the Gibson series but it was okay and I'm glad I read it.

I almost have no words on how good these 3 books were, I was caught up emotionally with each character to the point I ugly cried at the scenes of such loss and heartache and then laughed like a nutcase at some of the shenanigans that each character faced. This storyline was beautifully written and exceptionally delivered in such a way it leaves you with feels and sadness that it had to end. Flynn and Valerie share a love few can match and this story is more than worth the read, it’s a memory of a love we all want to experience.

There is not a damn word I can say to make you read this, either you love KLs work or you don’t know it yet... either way, one day you will get here, to this very point and you will be just as blown away by all the emotions, pain, love, despair and forgiveness and redemption.

Emotional roller coaster read
What can I say this story had me feeling every emotion going, it truly is the most beautiful read. I started and can stay I suffered sleep deprivation by the end, yes Valerie and Flynn journey is amazing, I loved how the grow through each book and you will feel sad, angry, happy, relief, miserable and truly ecstatic, by the end. This is a must buy and read you will not be disappointed.

Valerie and Flynn
Their story is very beautiful! The way they meet and all the grieving and how they had to overcome all of it to be together... it was a great story!
There were some errors in the story. For example: we were on Flynn’s POV but the dialogue was for Valerie... or when the dialogue quotation marks were not where they were supposed to be! Those things drive me nuts!!!

Wow, an emotional rollercoaster from start to finish
If I could chose a book boyfriend Flynn would be it for me. I absolutely love this box set, so many different emotions, happiness, sadness, angst, jealousy & so much love. I didn’t want to put the book down, but I also didn’t want it to finish. It’s a definite 5 stars 🌟 from me.
If I could chose a book boyfriend Flynn would be it for me. I absolutely love this box set, so many different emotions, happiness, sadness, angst, jealousy & so much love. I didn’t want to put the book down, but I also didn’t want it to finish. It’s a definite 5 stars 🌟 from me.

Good series just over long my interest was waning by the end
Good series about a rock star who falls for his good friends sister . They go through heart break and up and down like any couple I just felt like the story was one book too long I was getting a little bored by the end. but I loved the epilogue.

Emotional, raw, beautifully written! Adored this series!
This series was beautiful. I was crying and laughing throughout the entire books. The story is so raw and at times heart breaking. I love Flynn and Valorie. They were truly soulmates and watching their story unfold was a roller coaster ride. I definitely think this series is a top favorite of mine. Loved this series!

One word AMAZING
One word AMAZING.... ive not been able to put these books down. I became so invested in the characters i was feeling their roller-coaster of emotions right along with them. These are the type of books you fall in love with and can read multiple times. Hats of the the author

Not for me
DNF. Read about 20% then gave up. I'm not sure of what to make of it. I downloaded this book after reading another by the same author and I thought it would be a good read but to my disappointment it wasn't for me. This book has good reviews so I'm guessing it might be me. Definitely not what I enjoy reading.

Valerie and Flynn's story takes you on a rollercoaster ride of the emotional gamut. You'll swoon, despair, laugh, cry, get mad, angry, and frustrated. I highly recommend the books be read, in order, and one right after the other to maintain the continuity of the saga. You won't be disappointed in this excellent series.

Deffinatly a series to read
A great ending to the series. However it isn't without it's challenges. Trust is still a big issue for Val, and when Flynn's loyalty is put in doubt, will it be the end of their relationship or will Flynn fight for the truth to be revealed?

What a brilliant series, this is the first series I have read by KL Shandwick and it defiantly will not be the last, I love the characters, it was a rollercoaster of a ride. Tissues were needed on more than one occasion.

Oh my Flynn!
Grab your favorite reading spot because you will not put this book down! I loved all the characters and how beautifully written they are. I laughed and cried through the struggle of Flynn and Valorie. I can’t wait to read another book from this author!

Speechless
I’m speechless after this series. Ready for Flynn was raw and beautiful. I love that it wasn’t about fast love even though that was how they fell. It’s just took years to actually become active. What a beautiful story. One of my favorites.

Fantastic!
I could not put this series down from the get go. You become hooked on finding out what is going to happen next. I fell in love with the characters instantly. There were also tears. I cannot say enough good this about this series!

Fresh fun fantastic
This book was amazing. Had me crying, had me smiling, and had me frustrated as hell. Everything I wanted in a book or three books lol. Love love love the whole flow. Very satisfied.
