Love Fights by Mandi Beck . Bring your gloves , Leo who’s a Hot as hell MMA trainer , has regrets and when his walks into the gym it’s a cold hard reality check! MAXIE IS MY GIRL! Who doesn’t love a tough strong lead! Well these two because of misunderstandings find themselves in quite the awkward situation. Thanks to a favorite from the past , second chances . They need to work it out ... literally! We get some Deacon love <<< yes Stick and Motherfucking move quench that thirst a bit. LOVED IT!

---->I read DESTINED FOR MORE by Lisa Suzanne and I hope I am destined for more from this series!
I am OBSESSED with her DESTINY World of Characters and just cannot get enough of them! This prequel lets us get a glimpse of Lizzie, sister to Mark Ashton & Brian Fox. I love how Lisa tied in so many things that we have seen in the Destiny Series like the Beavis & Butthead child pictures and Lizzie's love for her brothers. If you haven't read the Destiny series this is a great foreshadowing for the series and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND devouring them at your earliest convenience!

This novella showed me how hard it was for Lizzie being sister to a famous rock star and navigating the dating scene while trying to find someone genuinely wanting to get to know you and not for your brotherly connections!

Love Fights by Mandi Beck
I love nothing better than a story about a fighter and Mandi Beck has once again hit it out of the park with Love Fights! After years apart and a huge misunderstanding, Maxie and Leo are thrown back together and have to make peace with the past so Leo can train Maxie for her next fight. I absolutely loved this short story of Maxie and Leo (with a little side of Deacon for good measure) which is full of sass, sexiness, heart and emotion and is well worth the read! I truly enjoyed every moment!

I read Destined for More by Lisa Suzanne.
It's a fun, sexy, quick read that will get you read for the A Little Like Destiny trilogy or will give you a little background on the characters if you've already read it.
Dave and Lizzie are the best characters and it was sweet to see how they met and all of Lizzie's insecurities about being the sister of a famous rock star! I want more of these 2!

13 authors, 13 short stories, 1 anthology for charity- what a great anthology for charity. This is a great way to sample an author you've never read before but in cases, some stories leave you wanting more. Which is good because then you will seek out that author to find out if there is more stories by them in that series or if there will be more written about those characters. This anthology is full of love, romance, rock n roll and more.
Hellions Ride by Chelsea Camaron. ----Meet Axel Devon Crews. He´s a born Hellion MC member who lives and breathes the MC lifestyle. When his job is to escort a woman to Chicago , he finds he is about to meet his destiny. This is the story of alpha biker hero and a strong and determined heroine. This was one hot and steamy novella.

This is a great 2nd chance romance story and it also involves MMA. OMG what a hot novella. This was such a short story, I would have loved more so maybe there will be a follow up novella or short story to tell us how this couple is doing.

She is having trouble with her long term boyfriend and their relationship is on the rocks. Olivia is ready to break free of the lows she is in and start fresh and get happy. Noah Mason is seated in business class and immediately lasers in on the sexy flight attendant Olivia and they start this witty and sexy banter/flirting going on but will this lead to a night they both wont forget ? This is one story you have to read to find out what happens.
There is more hot and talented authors in this anthology you do not want to miss. All great short stories in their own right

Love Fights by Mandi Beck is a quick and sexy story that brings us back to her Caged Love series! This is Leo's story, who we met in Love Burns when Deacon needed him the most.
The story starts at some point after the Caged Love duet and finds Leo facing a past he thought he would never see again. Maxie Reed is set to make her debut as female MMA fighter, but needs some help. She thought it was Deacon who was going to help and is shocked to see Leo.

Love Fights by Mandi Beck is a great second chance romance between Leo and Maxi. Leo and Maxi used to be a couple, until one big misunderstanding ended them. Several years later, and with the help of Deacon's interference, they are forced to work together and finally talk about their past. This book is sexy, funny and full of heart. It's another great story by Mandi Beck. Hopefully one day it will be a full length novel.

I bought this solely to read the love fights novella by mandi beck. it was perfect a real mix of sweet and some sass from the lead lady Maxi.
it is well written and fun I wanted more but I always want more of mandi's words.

Oh how I have missed this crew!!!!! Leo and Maxie's story is short and oh so sexy. Leo wants his girl back and I looved watching him work his magic, in and out of the ring. And it wouldn't be a a Love book with out The Loves!! Deac....god I missed that MAN, and The Princess, Frankie. Really missed that little family. Stick and Motherfing Move Baby!!

I got to read Love Fights by Mandi Beck and it’s such an amazing, sweet novella that you must read! Max and Leo have had their hearts crushed over a misunderstanding but when they breathe the same air again all they can remember is the heat between them! Can all be forgiven! I wanted to read Wild in the Windy City: The Anthology Volume Two when I saw that J.D. Hollyfield was one of the authors that had a story in the anthology. She’s one of my favorites and I’ll read anything she writes plus there are more authors on here that I’ve been meaning to read, so it was a no brainer that I would get Volume Two. Although I have only read Ms. Hollyfield’s "Exquisite Taste," I definitely plan to visit this collection again!
But let’s talk about "Exquisite Taste" for right now. It might just be a little preview for right now, but oh, I can’t wait until we get the full story because even this short story was excellent! I loved Jensen immediately, she’s spunky and sassy and smart and so much more. And I loved, loved, loved Damien! I fell hard for Creed in all his darkish, rough, hard glorious self in Creed’s Expectations and I just want all of Ms. Hollyfield’s heroes to be like that and I can’t tell you how happy I was when I realized that Damien was going to have that similar rough, dark jerkishiness as well. I’m just so excited for more of "Exquisite Taste" to come, I seriously cannot wait!
I also can’t wait to read the other short stories in Wild in the Windy City: The Anthology Volume Two! I’m looking forward to discovering new authors and finally getting to cross off some authors on my Authors To Read list for the first time. And if any of the stories are like "Exquisite Taste," I know the rest of this anthology is going to be utterly fantastic!

The mile high club has never read so good than in this short by Kat Masen.

Holy epic anthology batman! This anthology not only brings it all in the sense of a wide variety of romance and heat, it also brings incredible authors. From old favorites to new discoveries calling Wild in the Windy City good is an understatement. This anthology is AWESOME!
I don’t think I’ve ever read an anthology so quickly! Typically I’ll skip through to authors I already know, but I’m not exaggerating when I say every story in this is so good I devoured every page! From MC to Rockstars there’s something for everyone to love.

Love Me a Second Chance Romance!
Max and Leo lose each other over a major lack of communication. But after six long years and with Deacon’s help (ya that’s right, Deacon, god I missed that man, Love) they find their way back to each other!!!
This was a great story about two really strong characters that never stopped loving each other. They are both smart enough to know the gift they have received in being reunited and are never letter the other go…
I loved them both and being able to spend a little time with Deacon and the gang was just an added bonus….

I loved this! It was short and sexy, sweet! Leo, the hot MMA trainer and Maxie, the girl who got away. Leo and Maxie were thrown together after years apart and now he is training her for an upcoming fight. I loved them! I also loved seeing that sexy Deacon Love!! I missed this crew alot! Need more!

I love anything Mandi Beck writes. This piece for the Wild in the Windy City charity anthology is no different. It was so good and fun, quick read. The only problem I had with it is that it ended! What a great story, especially for Caged Love fans because we get to catch up with some old friends. You do not have to have read any of Mandy’s previous books to enjoy this story. It’s just an added bonus of you have.

It's a great way to sample an author you've never read before BUT some stories leave you wanting more. Like Mandi Beck's Love Fights. It's the story of Leo, a trainer, and Maxie, an MMA fighter. For such a short story, this author gives us so much!

Chelsea Cameron- Hellions Ride On
Hellions MC 2nd gen Catawba and crews transport. Shooter, stepdad and Rex, dad are from this series who give their son, Axel one job to transport a women to Chicago in a limited amount of time. Yesina Dominguez is graduating from UNC and TX bound until a call changes this and she is headed to Chicago with Axel being the one to deliver her. Funny that he was the biker from NYE (new year's eve). Her life is decided for her so really interesting how this story is going to play out with the twist given by none other than Javier Almanza. This MC walks an invisible line of law abiding and outlaw. If we want to know what happens in Chicago we are going to need to read
Cartel b!tch Almanza Crime Family duet and then third gen of MC to get Axle's story.
Gia Riley- Meant To Be
A Stay Awhile prequel
Garrett is 18 and it opens with a prior scene from 1999. Grace, his sister and Chase, Garrett's BF make appearances and she's crushing on him (Chase).
Megan is Garrett's crush, but Connor has claimed her. They are all heading to college so they may go on different paths, but one thing for sure Garrett is in love with Megan and he has to stand by and remain her friend. We have to read Stay Awhile to get the full story on this trio. Grown-up and life is more complicated than H.S. for them.
H.J. Bellus- Simple Man
Nash is the nations number 1 bad boy in Country music and sexiest man alive of the year. Shuggy, what he calls his gram from Joliet. He's stopping by Gram's to get a breather and while hiding out he meets Maebri the neighbors granddaughter. They are funny together and her comment of "stupid country star" is chuckle worthy. Hanging with him helps both of them actually.
Sadie Marie is from a small town and I'll say a groupie wanna be. We know that Dex is his brother and managing the farm that Nash's parents wanted both boys to takeover, but it wasn't in the cards for Nash. His brother may be the farmer, but isn't the brightest since he's more about the drugs. Holy POPS, just NO NO!! WTF Simple my behind. We need this full story and I hope it's released prior to this upcoming 2018 signing cause I so need to know what transpires in this story and would love to have this signed by her while there.
J.D. Hollyfield- Exquisite Taste
Jensen and her BF Christine and roomie relocated to Chi-town to attend college. Christine begs Jensen to pledge a sorority with her and Jensen is not a fan and it is quite comical. Damien and Exquisite go hand in hand and you will see why. Yes, we only get a Taste of the story.

Mr. BMW was a real piece of work and I'm sure you will agree but without him these two might not have met. Hoping we get a full length story on these two cause they deserve a full length story.

Olivia in a relationship dead end at that with Adam for 7 years and that's a crappy Xmas message. Noah blast from past in 4A as the "milkshake girl". Noah is married and separated, but...Night of changes happen until another text from a different person changes life yet again. There better be more as there was nothing listed on if this would be turned into a book.
L.B. Dunar- Caught By Pina Coladas
Jared Kane is in a band called Collision. His friend name is Petty. Yeah, makes you think of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers right off the bat. haha
Lexi is a librarian and Marine her BF. Two complete opposites, but I guess that's what makes them balance each other out.
Wrong number equals a drink and standing in the rain chasing midnight. Short, but drink worthy.
Lisa Suzanne- Destined For More Prequel
Destiny bonus for those of us who have read her A Little Like Destiny Series. We get to see Lizzie who is the sister to this series and just how hard it is to be a sibling to someone famous. You never know if they are dating you for you or your family. Hence as is the case in Corey, vendor and owner of bar. He sees Lizzie as a way to score bigger in the bar and does not see her for her. Dave is Dave and has no clue who she is related to and you see how nice he truly is. Come on he likes coffee so that's a plus in my book just from meeting him. haha
Mark Ashton brother and Brian her other brother AKA Beavis and Butt-head forget she calls her brothers that so it was a chuckle worthy moment when you see her calling her brothers this.
Lizzie and Dave are great together and are Destined for More. I hope we get to see more on these two. Yes, you get glimpses in the series, but think they deserve even a novella. We all know we cannot resist more of the Destiny characters. If you have not read the series on her brothers than this will lead you to want to read their story, you will not be disappointed.
M. Piper-Life
Be still your heart reading this story from beginning to end! Owen a professional hockey player who has been with Millie for 15 years and has 2 kids. Oh gosh, this is tragic and we should have known that M. Piper was going to do this to us (meaning rips out heart and and gives us only a tease of this story). Loved that while it tugged at your heart that it was opposite meaning it was a man's POV and how they handle these situations since we usually see this from a women's POV. Weeps in corner waiting for full release of this book. Really hopes it before WWITC
MC Decker-Unexpected
This story is about Cassidy and Blake and we see them where they are at years after their relationship began. Which I love cause while I have not read those stories, we get to see a "Where are they now?" story, which I love cause I am always looking for more on characters.
This story shows us that the adoption papers for Ben and Maddy and Blake officially becoming Kaitlyn's dad as they got married. We get to see an unexpected baby-moon and how came Luke. Loved that the moon occurred in Chi-town.
Married with sand interesting never heard of that, but cool to blend families together. Sure this is going to become more popular as people read this. Pretty cool since many families are blended now days. We see Brooke, BF and her hubby she's funny and sorry but I must be fudged in head cause I loved being pregnant lol. These characters show us just how normal families are juggling marriage, kids, passion and more years later. I'll definitely be looking up what books belong to Cassidy and Blake and Brooke and Rich cause their stories have you wanting to read how they become a couple.
Mandi Beck-Love Fights
Leo's story and can be read as a standalone. Maxie Reed is the one that got away. Leo left her 6 yrs ago and boy are they hard headed. Guess that is why they are fighters, huh?! Well, they should fight for the relationship like they do for the win.
Maxie is getting trained at Frankie's and is in for the shock of her life once she gets there to begin training for her upcoming event. Deacon world champ in MMA and wins just for the trick up his sleeve he pulled. You shall see what he does. Too funny! Maxie and Leo learn that there was a misunderstanding between them upon his return from military. Can they win a second chance at love or will the only win be in the ring? If you want to read more on these characters or on Deacon and Frankie then you will need to read them in Love Hurts and Love Burns to see more of Leo and Maxie.
Ryan Michele-Love Heals
This story tugs at your heart, but redeems itself at the end. Ainsley is at a Bears game and the seat next to her is empty. Adam, brother and her have a tradition to go to first home game of season, but this year is a little different and sad. The empty seat holds a foreman hat until occupied by brother's friend. This friend sees her and sparks fly from this point on, let me tell you. Well a spark my have flew when you a read a scene before they realize they know each other. Too cute and sweet! Hudson who also lost a brother so he knows what she's going through .He's works in the CPD as a detective. She owns a boutique called the Purple Door. This is an insta-love story, but with Hudson's daily experience it is expected and known that you cannot waste time as you never know how much longer you have so jump on it is the motto and makes sense. You will have some comfort food or be wanting it while reading this. I hope that we get a fuller version on Ainsley and Hudson. Yes, it could end here, but these two are destined for so much more. This just goes to show you that Love Heals when you least expect it too. Da bears!

Hellions MC 2nd gen Catawba and crews transport. Shooter, stepdad and Rex, dad are from this series who give their son, Axel one job to transport a women to Chicago in a limited amount of time. Yesina Dominguez is graduating from UNC and TX bound until a call changes this and she is headed to Chicago with Axel being the one to deliver her. Funny that he was the biker from NYE (new year's eve). Her life is decided for her so really interesting how this story is going to play out with the twist given by none other than Javier Almanza. This MC walks an invisible line of law abiding and outlaw. If we want to know what happens in Chicago we are going to need to read
Cartel b!tch Almanza Crime Family duet and then third gen of MC to get Axle's story.

A Stay Awhile prequel
Garrett is 18 and it opens with a prior scene from 1999. Grace, his sister and Chase, Garrett's BF make appearances and she's crushing on him (Chase).
Megan is Garrett's crush, but Connor has claimed her. They are all heading to college so they may go on different paths, but one thing for sure Garrett is in love with Megan and he has to stand by and remain her friend. We have to read Stay Awhile to get the full story on this trio. Grown-up and life is more complicated than H.S. for them.
H.J. Bellus- Simple Man
Nash is the nations number 1 bad boy in Country music and sexiest man alive of the year. Shuggy, what he calls his gram from Joliet. He's stopping by Gram's to get a breather and while hiding out he meets Maebri the neighbors granddaughter. They are funny together and her comment of "stupid country star" is chuckle worthy. Hanging with him helps both of them actually.
Sadie Marie is from a small town and I'll say a groupie wanna be. We know that Dex is his brother and managing the farm that Nash's parents wanted both boys to takeover, but it wasn't in the cards for Nash. His brother may be the farmer, but isn't the brightest since he's more about the drugs. Holy POPS, just NO NO!! WTF Simple my behind. We need this full story and I hope it's released prior to this upcoming 2018 signing cause I so need to know what transpires in this story and would love to have this signed by her while there.
J.D. Hollyfield- Exquisite Taste
Jensen and her BF Christine and roomie relocated to Chi-town to attend college. Christine begs Jensen to pledge a sorority with her and Jensen is not a fan and it is quite comical. Damien and Exquisite go hand in hand and you will see why. Yes, we only get a Taste of the story.

Wild In The Windy City was an anthology with many authors that I had not read before...all but one to be exact. I received an ARC for Love Fights...it was an interesting and well-paced read. All the other individual stories ranged from 1-2 stars...most did not have a satisfying ending.

Hellions Ride On - Chelsea Cameron
I hadn't read the Hellions MC series, I loved that Chelsea gave a quick overview of the family dynamic and background incase readers like myself hadn't read the full series. Hellions Ride On started with so much promise, I was hooked into the plot. I was disappointed in the way it ended. It had just gotten good, now I have to wait to read another book. Don't get me wrong, it was well written, you can feel the chemistry between Axel and Yesnia. The family drama she has going on will be explosive in the book that releases March 15th. I don't think this little tidbit, tease? Whatever you want to call it should of went in this anthology, I think it should of went in the book above or Axels book in 2019.
Meant to Be - Gia Riley
I have read a couple of Gia's previous book but not Stay Awhile so this was the first time being introduced to Megan, Garrett and Connor in this prequel. I am grateful for that because now I can read Stay Awhile knowing the history, the chemistry, rivalry, heartache and emotion that the characters experienced while in high school. My heart broke for Garrett, I wanted him to be chosen. There was something about Connor that made me dislike him.
Simple Man - HJ Bellus
Cliffhangers... I freaking hate cliffhangers. This book ends in a way that leaves you knowing things are going to blow up. I loved how both Nash and Maebri adored their grandparent, it was very sweet! Nash has done some let's call it sinful things in his past, he wants to get married and have the 2.5 kids. Will Maebri be it? Only time will tell thanks to that damn cliffhanger.
Exquisite Taste - J.D Hollyfield
Hot, is the first word I would use to describe Exquisite taste, the chemistry between Jensen and Damien is sizzling. I love the banter that was exchanged between the two of them. I hope J.D decides to extend upon this one.
Bound to You - J.M Witt
Sam and Tami, I will definitely be going and reading how it began. Bound to you was hot, very sexy and an enjoyable read. This was my first J.M With experience. I loved it.
The Roadie - Jenna Galicki
I loved The Roadie, I adore strong characters who stand up for others and are protective. I instantly loved Brett, this was a fun read. I liked that it wasn't the typical musician getting the girl, I also liked how passionate he was about his job.
The Layover - Kat T. Masen
I loved this story! The whole kismite belief is a fun read. This story was steamy! I would love to see Kat extend on this story with the way it ended! The drama that would unfold would be an entertaining read.
Caught (by Pina Coladas) - L.B Dunbar
This is one instance where drinking pina coladas, getting caught in the rain and making love at midnight made a fantastic story! I loved Lexi and Jarrod, this was a fun read. It was witty, sensual and sweet.

Second chance romance, mixed with bad ass woman. Yes please. Love fights was a joy to read. I loved seeing Maxie and Leo get their second chance, the banter and the ring scene was enjoyable.
Love Heals - Ryan Michele
This story broke my heart and put it back together just as quickly! I loved It! It was my favourite story out of this anthology. The heartache of losing someone brought the characters together, but perhaps it was fate they met at at right time too. It was a beautiful story.

I love the Hellions series and I jump at any chance to see my boys again. This novella features Axel who is Rex’s son. He is hot, sexy and swoon-worthy. He was raised, lived and breathed the MC lifestyle. He is about to meet his destiny when he is sent on a job escorting a girl to Chicago. I can’t wait to read more of this story as I am completely hooked and intrigued so I am now sitting her in eager anticipation of Cartel Bitch.

He sounds like a complete manwhore when you first meet him, as you get to see one of his flings you know that something is going to happen with this later. Love anything from Ryan Michele this is a brilliant novella. You meet Ainsley who is heartbroken and in grief after losing her Brother. To honour him she still goes to a football game she used to go to with her brother and meets Hudson there. He is one of her brother’s friends. He is one hot and sexy cop, hello handcuffs 😉. Loved these two together. Totally swoon-worthy.

Love anything from Ryan Michele this is a brilliant novella. You meet Ainsley who is heartbroken and in grief after losing her Brother. To honour him she still goes to a football game she used to go to with her brother and meets Hudson there. He is one of her brother’s friends. He is one hot and sexy cop, hello handcuffs 😉. Loved these two together. Totally swoon-worthy.

She´s a waitress at the lokal watering hole and they have a ons. Fast forewards, 6 months later he meets Maebri and he knows she´s something special. But now his past is about to bite him somewhere. Simple Man is a typical H.J. Bellus story, extremely well written and thought out with great characters and a wonderful story. But and yes there´s a but, the story ends in a mean cliffie and is too short. 5 stars.

I loved reading this short story and learn more about Mark and Lizzie. 5 stars.

Love Heals by Ryan Michele. Love Heals is Ainsley and Hudson´s story. Ainsley is a boutique owner and recently lost her beloved brother. To honor him she attends a football game and there she meets Hudson, one of Adams´friends. Hudson is a cop and he wants to know Ainsley. They´re so great together and have this crazy insta-chemistry. Their story begins with grief and ends with a beatiful HEA and in bliss. Yay! 5 stars.

I am currently leaving a review for two of the stories in this Anthology.
Life by M. Piper:
A Chicago hockey player who loves his wife and kids. But something has happened, and he is not sure he can survive. I am not sure I can survive this story! This story definitely has all the feels. It is romantic and potentially tragic. And I need more of it, even though it will probably break me in the process!
Caught (by Pina Coladas) by L.B. Dunbar:
A text sent to a wrong number, and then an invitation to meet. What happens when the stranger is a rock star who is leaving town to go to another gig tomorrow and you are just a librarian? Will you throw caution to the wind and live a little? Potentially get your heart broken?
This is a sexy and sweet story. But I ask – no beg – can I have more of Jared and Lexi? PLEASE??!!
As I read the rest of the stories, I will update this review.

Love Fights by Mandi Beck
I'm still fairly new to Mandi Beck and her delicious characters. While I'm not up to speed on the history of Deacon, jumping into Love Fights didn't feel like I was stepping into the middle of an existing story. Wet your taste buds with Leo + Maxie, you'll be coming back for more in a heartbeat.
Leo + Maxie are sex on a stick, seriously!! From their first reunion, I was hooked. Then I was gutted as their past came to light, but my heart was on the mend super quick. This novella moves hella fast. It left me wanting so much more from their story, there is a full novel somewhere waiting to be told for these two. Heartbroken, but fighters, Leo + Maxie make for some sexy AF characters.
Take a chance with Mandi Beck if she's new to you. You won't be disappointed!!

I read Caught by LB Dunbar and I am hoping this short story will turn into a full length novel.
Lexi accidentally sent some sexy texts to Jared and they decided to meet up. Lexi is a shy librarian and can't believe she sent the texts that she did. Jared is part of a band and was just sitting in his hotel room after a concert when he gets some texts from an unknown number. But the texting leads to a meet up at a Mexican restaurant and instant attraction between Jared and Lexi. They talked and ended up in Jared's hotel room since they were soaking wet from being in a rain storm. Lexi can't believe that Jared likes books and one of his favorite is also one of hers. They have some much more in common than either one initially believes.
Please write more about Jared and Lexi! They have to have a longer story because they are such a great couple!
