Keeping Caroline (Silver Falls Book 2) by Megan Nugen Isbell is the second book in her Silver Falls series. I would highly suggest your read the first book before this one so that you get the full enjoyment from this series. One of my favorite things about this author is her easy flowing writing style, her lovable characters that hit you right to the heart. This story like her others took me on an emotional roller coaster ride that I didn't want to stop. There are some twists and turns that these characters took me on that I didn't see coming. This is the continuation of Caroline and Adam's story. Their story is one where it shows you that sometimes you will go to the end of the earth to be together. Now that these two are together, they have been having a long distance relationship. It works for them until Caroline gets an opportunity to work in Boston. She is learning to adjust to living in the city but they seem to be adjusting great and their relationship couldn't be better. What will happen when life throws them a curve ball or two? Is their love strong enough to weather the storm? They have fought so hard to be together but will fate tear them apart now? I love both of these characters. I loved seeing what happens to them after Adam comes back to Silver Springs. They are both strong characters that are independent and know what they want and how to get it. Their chemistry together is just as strong as their love for each other. They really do belong together and I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see if they would get their happy ending. The secondary characters in this book are support and great and really add to the story. I highly recommend this book as I know it will pull at your heartstrings and you just might shed a few tears like I did.

Keeping Caroline is the second book in the Silver Falls series featuring Caroline Hale & Adam DeLain. When Caroline graduates college and gets a job in Boston, the natural things seems to be to move in with Adam as he continues his Baseball career with the Red Sox following his comeback from injury. But when tragedy strikes and they have to return to Silver Falls, Caroline is torn. Should she give up her new life to go back to her family? Was Adam as dedicated to her as she was to him, or would she always come second to the demands of his career?
I really enjoyed this novel and the continuation of Caroline & Adam’s story. We got to know Caroline’s brother Sawyer and Lindsay a bit more too, which was a nice touch. The action moved from Silver Falls to Boston -away from small town America for at least the first half of the book which gave us a change in perspective too. As with the first book, the characters were really well-written and the scenes were really descriptive. The love scenes were passionate and the family scenes were heart-breaking at times. There were plenty of twists and turns in the story and an interesting addition to the story was Caroline’s new work colleagues. From grumbling Frank to the quiet, good guy Sean, they all added something extra to an already intriguing love story.
I would definitely recommend this book to friends who like modern romance and would not hesitate to read more books by this author.

“You think you have it all figured out. You think you know where you’re headed, but then something happens to change it all and as I turned to look at Adam, I was so grateful that life was in control instead of me.”

This quote is said before the half way point but it could have been repeated every chapter through-out the book. This is true for everyday reality as well…you think you have it all figured out…

Keeping Caroline is a sweet story that brings Caroline and Adam together again. Adam is our favorite baseball player and “sweet” Caroline is the one that keeps Adam together and grounded. They really do balance each other out. Their only problem is that they have a hard time believing they deserve such a good life. They don’t think they deserve each other, so they both are waiting to wake up from the dream! Again Isbell brings our feelings out in the open and lets us fall in love with the characters of Keeping Caroline, especially Adam and Caroline.

I liked how this story was realistic in the feelings of the characters and at the same time a little like a fantasy…doesn’t everyone want to fall in love with the star player and him with us!?! Lots of little twists that make the story flow to keep a reader turning those pages! Almost didn’t want to see this story end except for the fact that maybe someone else has a story to be told? Sawyer? Erica?

Recommending this story for all the reasons listed above!

Keeping Caroline~Silver Falls Book Two
written by Megan Nugen Isbell
5 Stars

“You think you have it all figured out. You think you know where you’re headed, but then something happens to change it all”

I couldn’t wait to get back to Silver Falls and see where Caroline’s journey took her. This book was so hard to put down and adult. I just got lost in the words and didn’t want it to end.

“Do you want to know what I’m afraid of...Only having one life to spend with the man I love.”

I’m not sure if I was an emotional mess through a huge portion of this book because Megan was just SPOT ON with her words or because it hit too close to the details of my own experience. Keep tissues on hand! You will need them!

“I’m the one person you don’t have to pretend with. When you fall, I’ll catch you. I promise.”

Could she get past the outside influences? Would she let her insecurities and lack of self-esteem rule her? Would she be able to pursue her dreams and put herself first when she felt she was living as an imposter at times? Could they get past the secrets? The lies?

“You might not think you meant what you said, but you did. There’s always truth to our words.”

The only thing that would make the ending of this book better is hearing there will be a book three in Silver Falls! Fingers crossed!

Keeping Caroline(Silver Falls Book 2 )  by Megan Nugen Isbell

Keeping Caroline ( Silver Falls Book 2 ) by Megan Nugen Isbell is the second book in her Silver Falls series.I highly suggest you read the first book in this series as you'll get a better look into the characters. I  simply love every single book Megan has written, they take you on one heck of a emotional roller-coaster ride with a few twists and turns. Her characters literally pull at my heart strings and her style of writing is just amazing. This story is the continuance of Adam and Caroline ' s story. These two story shows us that sometimes you will go to the end of the earth to be together. But now that they are together it's been a long distance relationship  .This has worked for them until Caroline gets a opportunity to work in Boston . Caroline is adjusting to living in the city and their relationship seems to be great. How do they handle curve balls thrown at them? Can they get through this storm that's been tossed at them? These two have fought so hard to be together  but will fate tear them apart? I think this is my favorite from Megan so far. These two have serious chemistry and totally belong together.Do they get the HEA they both deserve? You'll have to read this book to find out. I can't wait to see what she comes up with next.

Megan Nugen Isbell takes us back home with Keeping Caroline, the second novel in her Silver Falls series. You must read Catching Caroline in order to follow along with her new novel.

In Keeping Caroline, Isbell picks back up a few months after reuniting Adam and Caroline. Bursting with love, these two must manage to navigate their way through the ups and downs of a relationship while still coming back to one another. Isbell tugs at your heartstrings while also giving you hope for Caroline and her family.

Adam was already the perfect boyfriend, but in Keeping Caroline, Isbell seems to once again improve on perfection. Adam Delain will melt your heart with his kind words, sweet gestures and his undying love for his small town girl. His love and devotion is what makes him the perfect book boyfriend.

As with all of Isbell’s novels, she sweeps you into her fictional world and creates a haven for love. Whether you read her Silver Fall series or another of her novels, you will be a fan of this author for life. Her humble take on romance sets her apart from others who overwork their novels. Isbell keeps it real, relatable and writes of true emotions. I highly encourage that you take a chance on Silver Falls as well as her other wonderful novels.

Keeping Caroline is the second book in the Silver Falls series by Megan Nugen Isbell. I LOVED THIS BOOK!!!. I have a tendency to get quite attached to characters even if they are not the main ones. So when anything happens that is full of emotion both happy or sad I cry a lot. I was having problems sleeping and reading usually helps me relax enough to fall back to sleep, not this time because I was too busy crying my eyes out. Looked great going into work with puffy bloodshot eyes but it was so worth it.

There was something about Caroline and Adam's story that grabbed me from the very beginning and I'm so hoping we see more of their story. The love they have for one another is a once in a lifetime type and not everyone is guaranteed to find their soul mate but they were so fortunate to find theirs. Adam is willing to do anything for Caroline and he makes sure she knows it.

Megan Nugen Isbell is probably one of my favorite authors, I love her writing style and there is just something about the way she writes these characters in such a personal and loving way. I really felt a deep connection with everyone.

I highly recommend this series as well as anything else she has written. I might cry a lot but I have never been disappointed.

Keeping Caroline by Megan Nugen Isbell is the second book in her Silver Falls series. It would be my recommendation to read this series in order as this book follows the same characters as the first and follows on in their story.

Caroline and Adam have finally found their place together. After years apart they found their way to each other and found what they were looking for.
Now they are moving on with their lives and following their dreams. Caroline is about to graduate and Adam is well on his way to making his comeback. And when Caroline is given the opportunity to move even closer to Adam she jumps at the chance.
But what happens when another hurdle is presented? Are they strong enough to make it through? Or will it be enough to throw them off track once more?

This isn’t the first book I have read by this author so I already knew I would enjoy it. I do wish however that I had read book one first as I feel like I was missing a lot of background information and character development. Even with that I enjoyed the writing style yet again by this author and I really enjoyed reading about the characters. The story was interesting and keeps you engaged throughout the book. The first thing I will be doing now is going back to read this series from the start!

Keeping Caroline (Silver Falls Book 2)
By Megan Nugen Isbell
5 stars

I was really looking forward to reading this book after loving Caroline and Adams story so much in the previous book and I have to say it was well worth the wait! It should, in my opinion, be read after the first book in the series. It is also official that Adam is number 1 on my book boyfriend list! I loved EVERYTHING about him! The way he was with Caroline, his devotion to her and he was just the sweetest guy ever. This is the first book in a while to make me cry and whilst there wasn’t one particular thing that happened between Caroline and Adam there was a huge event that happened that really broke my heart. I cried for every single character in the book.
I always find myself swept up in the stories by this author – I have been so lucky to read most of her books and every single one has been amazing to read. Her characters are always well thought out and have great development. Her story lines never fail to keep my interest from start to finish and over the series too. She really is a truly talented author and I cannot recommend this book and other by her enough.

Keeping Caroline, Silver Falls Book 2 by Megan Nugen Isbell. This is the second book in the series and in the book, we get to see the rest of Adam and Caroline’s story. This book, had so much emotion in it. I laughed and cried multiple times in the book.
Adam DeLain is a starting pitcher for the Red Sox and has been in love with Caroline Hale since as far back as he can remember. Caroline thinks everything is too good to be true. How could the hot, sexy Adam DeLain want a simple country girl. With Caroline graduating from college, and Adam going back to Boston for his comeback, will they be able to handle everything? Caroline gets a job offer in Boston so Adam wants her living with him. When the unimaginable happens, will they be able to overcome it together or will this be too much for them to handle?
Seeing these two fall head over heels in love was amazing. Like any couple, they had their fair share of ups and downs. I absolutely loved this book!!! And I can not wait for more. I love this author!!!

Megan Nugen Isbell's Keeping Caroline is the second story in the Silver Falls series. This is a new adult/college romance. I previously read Catching Caroline, the first book in the series, prior to this latest book in the series. You should absolutely read it first. It will give you information to build upon how Adam and Caroline came to be at the start of this story. In Keeping Caroline the author delves deeper into their relationship and curve balls are thrown that test a relationship. The way they are handled is done with finesse, talent and creativity. The story flowed and the way it's written you can feel the emotions as the words flow across the pages. Beautifully written with characters that are not perfect, but exquisite in their unique ways that make them stand out. I have not yet read a book by Megan Nugen Isbell that I haven't enjoyed and they do each get better than the ones you may have read before.

Keeping Caroline by Megan Nugen Isbell is book two of the Silver Falls Series. Book one, Catching Caroline should be read first to better understand book two.

Caroline and Adam have found their way back together. Now life is moving on. Caroline is almost done with college and Adam is back on the pitchers mound. Caroline lands her dream job and better yet, it’s in Boston!!

After Caroline graduates and moves to Boston to be with Adam, she spends her time at work and trying to get used to Adam being gone so much. One day though, they are thrown the biggest curveball yet and it throws Caroline’s world off its axis. They will need each other but it takes a bit to realize that and tensions run high. Will Caroline and Adam be able to work through it and make it last?

I absolutely loved this book. I read in one sitting. You are immediately drawn into the book and pulled into the characters lives. You feel what they feel! It was such a great book to read!!

Keeping Caroline by Megan Nugen Isbell is a five star novel and the second installment to the Silver Falls series. The first book in this series, Catching Caroline, grabs you by your heart strings so much that you have to know what happens next. Please read the first book before you pick this one up. Caroline is young and in love. She thought she was in love before but realized what she had with the first guy was t really love. High school relationships don’t always last but they are always good for a broken heart. Once she was able to move on from that, she realized how much life she still had in front of her and found the love of her life. Now only if he can figure out how to keep her around and not mess it up this would be perfect. But men sometimes don’t have a hard time messing up a good thing and it frames them a minute to figure it all out.

Keeping Caroline by Megan Nugen Isbell
Star:4
This is book two in the Silver Falls series. This story wraps up Caroline and Adam’s story. This couple has their ups and downs, which makes them relatable to the reader. I really liked Adam. He is sweet and caring. Caroline is going through a lot, and doesn’t always handle it the best. However, the love between the two characters was fun to read about. I liked them as a couple in the first book, and this book only strengthened that feeling towards these two characters.
Megan did a great job telling this story. It kept my interest and kept it until the end. I thought that this story complemented the first story well. I would recommend reading the first book before reading this book. Hopefully, you will enjoy this story as much as I did!

Keeping Caroline (Silver Falls book 2) by Megan Nugen Isbell
5 stars

This is the second book of this series and it definitely needs to be read in order.

We get to see Caroline and Adam and how their relationship is now. Through moving in together and some heartbreak, can they stay together and make it through the differences of their lives and careers?

I really enjoyed this story as we get to see them deal with some real life situations and also see how Adams career affects his personal life more than we did previously. This book had me laughing and crying and just hoping for a great ending.
I hope we get to see some of the side characters get a story sometime as I'd love to read about them!

This is a sweet slow romance book. This is the second book in this series. I did not read the first book but after falling in love with this book I will definitely go back and read it. This book is about Caroline and Adam. Adam is a hot shot pitcher for the Red Sox's baseball team and Caroline is a past farm girl turned tech guru. Caroline gets her dream job in Boston and moves in with Adam. Caroline and Adam stumble with living with each other and their new normal of Adam traveling for work. Suddenly Caroline's life is thrown a huge left turn and rocks everything. Can they make it through this untarnished? I really really enjoyed the emotions this book took me on. Sometimes it's about the journey and this book definitely takes you on a ride.

Keeping Caroline (Silver Falls Book 2) by Megan Nugen Isbell is the second book in her Silver Falls series. I would definitely recommend this book and series overall but if also recommend that you read the first book before this one so that you know what’s going on and the different character dynamics in order to fully enjoy this series. This is the continuation of Caroline and Adam's story. Reading their story so far has been interesting and has helped show the different ways relationships can grow and build into such beautiful things. There’s always some kind of twist or hitch in a story that will have you second guessing and then when things work out you’re like oh duh! I really enjoyed this story and look forward to more time with the characters.

I had almost forgotten how easily I could get lost in one of Isbell's worlds. I fell in love with Caroline and Adam in the first book in this series and now I am completely obsessed. Adam is sweet, caring, sexy, and only wants to make Caroline happy. I cannot get enough of these characters. Isbell has a knack for writing you right into the story, making you feel like you are part of this world. I was so involved with these characters, their feels (and trust me this one has them all) felt like my feels.
I cannot wait to get more from silver falls!

The story about what happens after the HEA!

Keeping Caroline is the 2nd book in the Silver Falls series. This is the book about what happens after the HEA. You have to read book1 to get a full view of Adam and Caroline’s relationship. They found their HEA in book 1 but book 2 is where we see how they keep it together. Absolutely loved this book. Sometimes after I read a book I wonder what will happens after and this book delivers. We see them go through ups and downs. I give this book a 5 star rating and am greedy for more of this awesome couple.

Keeping Caroline is the second book in the Silver Falls series and the series should definitely be read in order.

As with all of this author's stories, there is a cadence to this book that makes it so pleasurable to read even when emotions are high. A story of growth and growing up. A story of new beginnings and old endings.

The characters are multi layered and I know I enjoyed a series when I am hoping that one of the secondary characters has her story told next.

I recommend this author and this series.

Keeping Caroline

Keeping Caroline was a good 4 star read.
Of course this is the continuation of the first book in there series.

These two are in a relationship. Now that Caroline has a great job opportunity she will be moving in with Adam. Can these two make it work now that they will be closure?

Adam loves Caroline and hopes that things work out for them. The secondary characters were great and added a good element to the story. If your looking for a good read this series is good and you will love it. My emotions were all over the place reading this book as well.

Megan Nugen Isbell has created another fabulous book with Keeping Caroline: Book 2 in the Silver Falls Series. Adam and Caroline’s story started with Catching Caroline. Keeping Caroline starts right back up and it flows effortlessly from book 1 to book 2. Adam and Caroline have a new problem that they haven’t faced before. After all they have gone through to be in a happy relationship while being faithful and doing the long distance thing can they get past life itself. This story is just as great if not better then book one when it comes to the characters and how they grow as individuals. Adam and Caroline have one of the biggest tests of their relationship and it made me fall in love with them even more. Megan Nugen Isbell has a way with the characters, their lifestyles and the way they react to real life situations that make them seem like people you would meet in real life. You can relate to the characters and their situations. This was another great story and I can’t wait to read more.

Megan Nugen Isbell story telling is one that makes you want to know more and it makes you to keep reading more and more. I was guilty of reading the story in one sitting. I also made the mistake of starting this story without reading Catching Caroline. This was my mistake and I would not recommend this story to be read first. You will understand the progression a lot more. Megan Nugen Isbell has a wonderful way of creating a small town that you could see yourself in leaving the where you are living now to go and become a part of the Silver Falls family. Silver Falls reminds me of Mayberry. Meet Caroline, her story is continuing and so is her long-distance relationship with Adam. That is until Caroline gets a job in the big city of Boston. Adam is a Red Sox player and Caroline helps him but keeping him in the real world and not in the fame lifestyle. The change of scenery for Caroline is almost too much and the relationship is starting to strain a little bit do to events that you could not imagine happening. There are some decisions that need to be made.

A great sequel

Keeping Caroline is book two in the Silver Falls series by Megan Nugen Isbell and is the continuation of Caroline and Adam’s story. I feel that it is important to read the first book in this series before reading this one to really understand what is going on. This book is and emotional rollercoaster packed full of twists and turns, that will test Adam’s and Caroline’s relationship and the strength of their love. This book had me hooked from the very beginning and kept me hooked to the very end. This was a great book and series that I highly recommend….and come on who doesn't love reading about hot baseball players and their love! I give this book 5 starts and can not wait to see what else the author has in store.
