To love again, he’ll either sink or swim.

There’s only one person Gabriel Castillo has always aspired to be – his father, an expert sea lion trainer at New York Aquarium. Then tragedy strikes. Now he must step into his father’s shoes, take care of his mother, and cut ties in a dead-end relationship.

He’s resigned to being single and 100% work-focused until Harper Wheeler arrives. The new tour guide from Kentucky draws him in like a fish on a hook, but he has to concentrate on his job if he wants to continue his father’s legacy. Getting swept up in Harper’s southern charms will just complicate things. So why can’t he stay away?

Harper had dreamed of spreading her wings to get out of Kentucky and away from her dead-end life there. She jumps at the chance to work at New York Aquarium, and she has no desire to get weighed down with a boyfriend anytime soon.

The sexy Cuban sea lion trainer is making that really difficult, but he can’t see what a great guy he really is. Should she risk her heart trying to convince him otherwise?

Cuban sea lion trainer Gabriel Castillo got a big responsibility to fulfill after his father died. Tired and fed up from his too obsessive girlfriend Rachel, he broke up with her a few days after the funeral. And vowed to focus more on business and start being the man he was destined to be. Lovelife not included on his timetable. Now, if only Rachel could just take the hint and leave him alone!

Harper Wheeler made the big move from Kentucky to the big city, New York. Determined to show that she's more than a pretty face, she proved that she's not only good with animals, but also with kids and had a big heart for those with special needs. Now, if only Rachel could just see her potential and not treat her like a dummy and take her hands off Gabe...

I couldn't stop laughing and grinning like an idiot while reading this latest addiction from Mysti Parker and MJ Post. OMG! Gabriel and Harper's chemistry was off the charts and I love love love their awkward slow-burn romance. Their love for kids and animals was definitely a bonus factor to the story, as it made me realize that I've always confused seals with sea lions.

And oh! Their shoe predicament had me rolling on the floor, and all those stench that come along with them. Ugh, yeah I know that's gross, but their chemistry made this story so entertaining. And lastly, Harper and Gabe's attraction was so magnetic that I was pulled into their orbit and made me forget about positive and negative charges. I lived for their silly and witty banters and how they effectively managed and solved problems even when there were slight hiccups. They definitely made a great team! Just like Mysti and MJ!

This is probably my favorite from the City Meets Country series!!

This is the third book in the City Meets Country series however, it stands alone. In this book, we meet sea lion trainer Gabriel Castillo who is determined to make his life as meaningful as his father had done prior to his death. To that end, he also decides a few days following his fathers funeral, to break up with his girlfriend Rachel.

Tired and fed up from his too obsessive girlfriend Rachel, he broke up with her a few days after the funeral. He’s had enough of romance, and decides to spend time becoming more like his father and focus more on business.

Harper Wheeler moves from Kentucky to New York to work at the aquarium as a tour guide. Of course, Rachel (Gabe’s ex-girlfriend) just happens to be Harper’s boss.
Harper is seen as a smart, kind, empathetic woman who is good at what she does. The sparks between her and Gabe are obvious. This is a problem for Rachel!

This book was so entertaining! Funny, sweet and the chemistry of the slow burning romance, addicting. I highly recommend this book! It will make you laugh, cry a bit and give you all the feel goods you want from a HEA book!

I was provided with an ARC of this book and I am providing my honest review.

This chapter of The City Meets Country series has blown me away. It was so sweet and filled with so much heart it had me weeping happy tears towards the end. This story proved that being perfect all the time isn't necessary. Being yourself can be the greatest goal of all. A Perfect Story!!!

I read this book as part of an arc program. This is the third book in the City meets Country series. In this book, Harper moved from Kentucky to live in New York and work at the aquarium as a tour guide. When She arrives, she meets Gabriel, the sea lion trainer and is very attracted to him. Gabriel worked with his father until his father dies suddenly and Gabriel thinks he has to be perfect to live up to his image. Gabriel's ex-girlfriend Rachel also works at the aquarium and is Harper's boss. Rachel thinks Gabe will take her back and is not happy that Gabe wants to spend time with Harper. Harper thinks Gabe wants to be with her, but he is running hot and cold and she thinks he might not be over Rachel. This is a great series and I really enjoyed this book too. There is humor and a lot of heat. I loved Harper and Gabe, they made a great pair, another great one!

In this third book of the City Meets Country series we go back to the city. Harper, moves to Brooklyn to take a job as a tour guide at an aquarium. Gabe, the sea lion trainer, is struggling to make his life as meaningful as he believed his father's was. As the story progresses they have to overcome a jealous ex-girlfriend, Gabe's expectations for himself and things from life in general.

A great series addition!

Book three in a four book grouping. I won't call it a series, as they are stand alones, but should be read in order, and the pairings make more sense. This time out we dove into an Aquarium to see some interaction between multiple people employed there. The jokes are in here, I almost had cola shoot thru my nose once or twice. The story also touches on some other lost loves, heartbreak, and what happens after. It's not all flash and dash. I'm absolutely ready for book 4 now!

Sealed with a kiss is the third installment in City Meets Country Book series. This is a well written love story between Harper, a Country girl and Gabe, the city guy. Their attraction between each other, love and romance scenes were amazing.
I loved this book and voluntarily reviewed an ARC of it.

This was a fun short story about Harper, Jaxon's sister, from book 2, High On You. Don't worry, the story works well as a stand alone. The characters are interesting and the plot has a few twists before Harper gets to a HEA. I enjoyed reading this straight through. I highly recommend it.

The most interesting part of this novel was watching Gabriel and his mother, Sofia, come to terms with life after his father's death. Gabriel spends a lot of time worrying about his grieving mother and wondering if he will ever live up to his father's impossible standards. He is a true gentleman, and he is trying to do right by everyone. He apparently resolves these conflicts, but we don't actually get to hear him do it. He just shows up at Harper's house with it all fixed in his head, I guess. I was disappointed by that because I really liked Gabriel. He was a sweetheart through the whole book, and I fell for him just like Harper did.
Harper was harder to get to know. Still, seen through Gabriel's eyes, she is smart, kind, hard-working, and intelligent. She confuses Sofia with her Southernisms -- that was funny. Some of her internal dialogue seemed like it was from an earlier chapter, though. I didn't understand her temper fit toward the end, but Gabriel seemed to agree with her.
Sailor had a really interesting story getting started in here. This is the set-up for the next book, and it looks like lots of fun.

Love Harper and Gabe's story

Harper moves from Kentucky to New York for a job At the aquarium. Gabe is the sea lion trainer. They are opposites but work well together. His sea lions are fun and have the shows. She works in the education area of the aquarium with his ex Rachel. She tries to make their life miserable but Harper takes it and shoves it back. Gabe and Harper have their ups and downs but in the end they make it. Love it.

This third part of the series (all standalones!) is the love story of city-boy Gabriel and country-girl Harper. I was drawn into the story right from the beginning. All characters are so well described, it’s like you are right there with them. I simply loved this story, loved Gabe and his love for his mom and how he and Harper are attracted to each other. It feels like every next book in this series is getting better. The book ended too soon for me, I would’ve liked another chapter added, but perhaps it’s because I liked it so much I could’ve kept reading on and on....
I’m so looking forward to book #4!

I received an ARC and this is my voluntary and honest opinion.

Once again, Mysti and MJ have created a solid, can't-put-it-down story that had me rooting for the two main characters all the way through. This time, Harper is the country half, although she has no trouble adjusting to the big city. She wanted to get away from Lexington, KY and let her brother deal with their mother. Gabe is the big city boy, firmly entrenched in his commitment to his family. Though their initial attraction is physical, the two come to know and appreciate each other in an entertaining fashion. Great reading fun, and I've already ordered Book Four of the series.

I loved this book it was amazing and I couldn't stop reading it. It was a sweet romance book. I loved how Gabriel steeped up to take care of his mom and how he took his dad's place when something happened. The end of the book had me on a emotional roller coaster but I loved it

Sea Lions, Not Seals!

Things I learned (and I love to learn!): sea lions have earflaps and can flip their flippers to stand and walk while seals slither along on their bellies on land; Cubans eat really well (craving some tostones y ropas viejas!); training animals can build strong bodies twelve ways (points if you "got" that reference).

This is the third in a series of romances which share characters but focus on a different couple in each book and can each stand alone. A bit of very steamy sex but limited to one scene--the rest of the story is PG and fun!

UPDATE~~Just listened to the audio version and enjoyed the story even more the second time! You'll enjoy the various accents which help identify the various characters.

All his life, Gabriel wanted to be like his father, a sea lion trainer, and good provider. When his father unexpectedly dies, he is thrown into the position before he is ready, and has to rise to the occasion. Love is the last thing on his mind. When Harper comes to New York and gets a position at he aquarium though, all bets are off. She is everything he wants. He tries to distance himself, but it's next to impossible. Rachel, Gabriel's ex is not ready to let go of her childhood sweetheart and things get pretty sticky. I love these stories, Harper being from Kentucky and moving to NYC is a huge adjustment, and we get to live that experience with her. We get to visit with other friends we have made through this series. It's always fun to see characters we know adding a layer of cohesiveness as we listen. Harper is a great character, trying to find her way in the big city. Her clumsiness both physically and her ability to learn her new job skills is funny and endearing. Gabriel is a strong character, focused and once he knows what he wants, is determined to achieve it. I loved his way with the kids during sea lion demonstrations finding he is very calming. It's a fun, romantic listen and great addition to the series.

Narrated by Riley Raye, she expertly inserts the Hispanic accent into the story. I loved her voices for the different characters. She made it a very pleasant listen and the story came to life.

Gabriel & Harper💘 4.5 Wonderful Stars 🌟🌟 🌟🌟🌟

Sealed With a Kiss
City Meets Country Series, Book 3

By: Mysti Parker, MJ Post
Narrated by: Riley Raye

This is an enjoyable & delightful story!! It is well written with interesting characters and storylines that grab your attention and holds it to the very end! Great character development and story build up to Gabriel & Harpers’s romance. This is a quick read but the authors pack a lot in to it, drama, laughs, romance and most of all a lot of heart. I loved how they take you into the New York Aquarium and gives you a glimpse of the seal lions. This book is part of a series but can be read and enjoyed as a stand alone. Thank you Mysti Parker & Mj Post for this wonderful & entertaining story!

I listened to the Audible edition, Riley Raye does a wonderful job narrating the story. She performs the male and female vocals giving each a unique sound and brings the to life from the pages to your ears. I love Gabriel’s accent, swoon worthy. Thank you for a great listen.

This was a terrific romance, with Kentucky-born Harper starting a new job at the aquarium in Brooklyn and meeting Gabriel, the sexy sea lion trainer. These two have great chemistry and work very well together, despite the machinations of his ex-girlfriend, who is Harper's supervisor. Harper is a sweet but strong (Bless yer heart!) southern gal who doesn't put up with Gabriel's indecision for long. Gabriel is still finding his way after the sudden loss of his father, and he has to shift his focus from taking care of his mother to taking care of his own life and relationship with Harper.

We get to see the couple from the last book briefly, and we're treated to an in-depth introduction to the couple from the next book as their lives intersect with Harper and Gabriel's story. I enjoyed Harper's interactions with the schoolchildren, and Gabriel's mother was a wonderfully-developed character. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

The evolution of Harper’s and Gabriel’s relationship is filled a number of touching and passionate moments. There is also a clinging ex-girlfriend who (I don’t care how “good” her heart is) you want to jerk her a new one.

Also, the evolution of Harper’s and Gabriel’s relationship is also impacted by how their lives were influenced by the absence (Harper) and presence (Gabriel) of their fathers in their lives. What Gabriel ultimately learns, with some input from his mother, is that it’s beneficial to be aware of both the bad and good traits of someone you are striving to emulate. Harper, to me, learns that you cannot live life expecting others to fail you even when the person who should have supported you more than anyone else failed to.

I received an advance copy of this book and am I voluntarily leaving a review.

Audio book review
This is book 3 in the series and I have enjoyed every signal one . Each story can be listened to as a stand-alone.this story will have you laughing at some scenes, it’s a sweet love story that you will be routing for the hero and heroine. The story is about 2 people from different walks of life and different worlds .
Hero is Gabriel. Heroine is Harper .

Gabe decides to get a few days to himself after his father passes. That includes from his over possession girlfriend Rachael .
Harper and Gabe meet when Harper gets work in New York , when Gabe and Harper meet the chemistry is off the charts and low and behold Harpers boss is none other then Rachael, Gabes ex . Does Rachael make life uneasy for Harper. Grab it and see

The narrator was good. Her voice was smooth, clear and strong

The third book in this series and Mysti and MJ deliver another quirky read that will have you laughing, have your heart swooning and will make you sitting on the edge of your seat for the fourth book.

Gave is a sea lion trainer who loves his parents and when the untimely death of his father Gabe realizes he needs to get his priorities straight. Starting with ditching his ex Rachel who is more interested in herself than anyone else.
Harper is a Kentucky native who moves to the big city and gets a job as a guide where she meets Gabe. It's insta-attraction between the two. They share a love of animals and they are both great with children.

This book will have you laughing when the secondary characters interact with Gabe and Harper. I absolutely loved this book and you will too

The story started out a little like the troupe where the ex-girlfriend is a vengeful witch while Gabriel wants to grow up, take responsibility for his choices and move on. And that does happen but Harper come into the equation and turns it all topside. Harper is like a breath of fresh air. She strong enough to tell it like she sees it without apology. She and Gabriel connect in a real way and it was a pleasure to watch it happen.

A couple things that stood out were Gabriel's mother talking to Gabriel about what life was really like to be married to his father and her need to break away from the life he expected to live how she wanted to. She is a wise woman.

I recieved a Audible copy of this story, at my request, in exchange for a honest review.

I received this book through ARC but I'm voluntarily leaving this review. I absolutely love this book. As the last of the series it does not disappoint. Gabriel seems like such a nice guy and the way he is with animals yummy. Harper on the other hand is a tough go getter southern girl that's not afraid to speak her mind. Together the make perfect characters for this book. I definitely recommend. I actually recommend the whole series it's a good read. Can't wait to see what Misty Parker comes up with next.

Sealed with a Kiss by Mysti Parker and MJ Post lived up to my expectations for this book. The story is a standalone listen and part of the City Meets Country series. I so enjoy how the characters are original and endearing. The narration by Riley Raye was perfect. She added authentic sounding accents to the various characters. I could easily hear exactly whom was speaking. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review. I will definitely listen to more books by this author and narrator.

When I first started reading this authors books if you had told me I would be hooked I would have laughed in your face because I just took a chance on this author and I'm so glad i did. Gabriel has lost his father and now he feels he has to be as good as his father or better to help his family and then he meets Harper and he's hooked. Mysti Parker is a superstar and I will shout it out to the rooftops and tell everyone I meet to read her books.

The 3rd book in this series and i swear each one is better than the last!!! I loved this sexy cuban man and his love for his work and family. He tries to be so good but with the way the new tour guide, Harper looks, and the way she is, Gabriel stands no chance against falling. Add in an Ex who just can't keep out of things and trouble ensues. i just loved watching Gabriel and Harper fall into eachother!! Come on book 4, I know you will blow me away!!

This is the third instalment in the City Meets Country series. Yet again a great story with fabulous characters and plenty of laughs. Sealed With a Kiss was a great read by Mysti Parker and MJ Post. This is book three in the City Meets Country series. Gabriel has always wanted to be just like his father. After his recent death, Gabriel finds himself making many changes in his life. He doesn't expect to get swept up in a new love, Harper a new employee at his job. I loved Harper and Gabriel's story and can't wait to read more by the authors.

I read an ARC copy of this.

I enjoyed this book. I'm not surprised I said in the last review that Harper was my favorite character so far. I really hated Rachel she was so petty. I wanted to punch her. I'm just glad that Harper and Gabriel were able to be together in the end.
