Rate this book

A short crime novel which was apparently B1 level Spanish. The language wasn't that easy for me and so reading was slow and not that enjoyable. The story, because it was a mystery was a little complex involving lots of characters to suspect/storylines to resolve. It wasn't a terrible story but I'm really not a fan of crime. In the first chapter we meet a woman and a man arguing and they split up and that same afternoon the woman dies in the park. At first it is thought it was an accident but a witness comes forward to say he saw a woman running away after hearing a scream and wonders if perhaps she was the killer. The police inspector has a lot to sort through, who is the woman running away, he discovers that the woman killed was having an affair with a married man and can he trust his only witness. He does get to the bottom of it in the end, just in time to take his well earned vacation.
