This was a great read. I can't wait for part 3. I hope in the next book Jah & Jazz can be happy. Lamar is not to be trusted. Jazz should have never drank that drink he bought for her. I just don't understand his goal in all this it has to be more then wanting to be with her. Sean is a horrible man.

Yeeeeeesssss Ivy!!! Now I'm waiting on part 3 because things are definitely about to heat up. Man wth Lamar even came from? I can't take dude serious at all. I'm still team Jah even though he still needs to explain some things. The relationship between Jah and Juicy is crazy but I love it. It was about time all of Sean's messiness was put out in the open. I swear I would've never guessed Desiree's secret would be the reason she was experiencing so many complications. Rayven is just as dumb as she want to be and I was mad at how easily she allowed Sean to manipulate her. She did get him good though and hopefully she'll stick to what she decided. Erica trifling behind needed what she got and it was long overdue for Jah to realize those two were trying to play him. I am mad he took things as far as he did instead of walking away and putting what he was trying to build in jeopardy. Poor Sheena! That part had me tearing up something serious. Lamar is low down for what he did and I hope everything works out for Jah so he can really give him the beat down he deserves. Lawd I hope Jazz doesn't turn to him as a shoulder to lean on and realizes just how underhanded his gay behind is. I must say I got happy once Jazz finally embraced her truly feelings and I hope the things surrounding the ending doesn't crush her completely where she doesn't get her happily ever after.

On one hand I enjoyed this and on the other hand it was just really petty and childlike drama going on that made this a bit boring. All the swapping going on I was just waiting for someone to be exposed for having AIDS or something. It’s almost to a point the only person you want to succeed and make it is Jah. I think it’s time for him to really move on from foolish Jazmine and her nonsense. The ending has me wanting to read the next one though so this was a good read.

Banger

I really enjoy reading Ivy books. Crush 2 is definitely a banger. Her characters, the story, the dialogue it all just flows so well. Ivy is a remarkable story teller and she does it again in this story. The way she brings them to life and make you feel like you there. She never disappoints. I'm a fan for life!!

I have mixed emotions with part 2. For one I didn't want it to end and for two I feel sorry for jah. Sean is just scum and deserve everything he gets. I'm not going to spoil it for others. Just know this is a must read!

Once I have started reading this book, I can't put this book down cause it's really a good. It's left off from Crush. Ivy Simone did a good job. It's dealing with more drama. I can't wait to read part 3 of this book.

When Minding Your Business Goes Wrong

It went all the way down in this book!!!…All the secrets were revealed, ppl true feelings came out and relationships crumbled!!!…
I was not surprised that Sean ended up on the trip with a few of his conquest in tow, because he was getting all the way around!!!…The fact that his nasty tail had no qualms about sleeping with 2 sisters threw me all the way off!!!…
Rayven let Sean know she was done with him playing with her and she unleashed on him!!!…
Lamar entered this pictures and decided he had the right to someone under false pretense and then took some dangerous matters into his own hands as if there was not a consequence for what he did!!!…
My heart broke for Jah because I knew he was going to fall apart after the loss of his sister, but for Erica and Sean to have him charged with all that and her tacky ash gave him a key to her house!!!…I already know all hell is about to break loose!!!…
I hope Miss Juicy is okay, but I know she is going to need to get to the hospital because she’s losing her baby!!!…

WOW! I thought it couldn't get any better but I am speechless. I wish Jaz would take off her blinders when it comes to Sean & Jah. To totally different men with different outlooks on life. Jaz & Jah are both stubborn as hell! I love how Jah is all hardcore but when it comes to Genesis and Sheena he melts like ice on a hot summers day. Sean has ran through this entire pack of friends and none were the wiser. He is a manipulator of the worst kind preying on women. Rayven has been through so much and didn't even tell him she knew he was nasty. Lamar is low down for that mess he pulled. I hope they find out the truth about that.

Crush 2

Lord I don't know where to start with this book. It pick up right where part 1 left off. I was happy to see that Jazmin is growing up and finally letting Sean go. I was surprise at Desiree and was shock to learn the reason why she can't have kids. Sean is something else and swear he need to sit down somewhere. Rayven is so naive I wish she will get it together. Lamar this fool is something else I swear he up to some. The ending was something else I bet Lamar got something to do with it.

Suspenseful!!!

I read the first Crush and it was very good too, but this one is very exciting and suspenseful. I can't wait to read the next one! I know it's going to be interesting! I hope it comes out soon cause I can't wait to see what's gonna happen! It felt like I was in the story myself lol! Ivy Symone is a very good author. People can relate to the characters in both Crush and Crush 2. These are the first books that I've read by her but now she has made me a fan of hers! I would recommend these books by her cause I know other people will like them!

Ivy Symone outdid herself with Crush 2! This is a great, entertaining series! The storyline was fast paced as I completed this story in a few hours. Jah's mouth is ruthless! He tells it like it is. He is hands down my favorite character. Hopefully he & Jazz will make it....Sean, on the other hand is the dog of all dogs...Rayven has finally seen what type of man she's married. Desperately waiting for the next part... Great job Ivy Symone!

I would’ve given the book an extra star, but the storyline just keeps dragging on and on with just a little bit of extra information that isn’t even that shocking added every few chapters. It’s getting tiresome, but at the VERY end, something completely unexpected happens that makes me want to read the next book. Basically it’s a repeating storyline with very few changes until I consider giving up on the entire series, and then BOOM!

This book started right where it left off at. I was definitely a page turner. I was amazed at how Sean wanted his cake and eat it too. No matter what Jah is the man in this book. I can't wait for part 2. I feel that someone is going to get seriously hurt in part 3. Great Job Ivy Symone. Please don't sleep on this series it's really good.

This was a pretty good series... There was definitely a lot of back and forth going on with all these characters....
These men could not do right by these women and were quick to act a fool if they did not fall into line with what they wanted...
Jah was a good guy and I really liked him... But just that quickly he had me not feeling him with how he just demanded that Jazmin just accept what has just happened... I was like come on man... Give her time to process... Trying to rushed her and force her to do what you want is not right... ugh... Men...
Then with Cassie and Eli... I dont even know what to think... He was not giving her what she needed but kept wanting her to give him what he wanted...
I loved Tanya... I just hated how she talked about herself and allowed her baby daddy to just keep using her because she thought she was not worth anything better... But in stepped Ike and helped to change all that... I just love him... I hate seeing what he is going through... I really did not see that coming at all...
Well onto the next book to see what else will happen next because it looks like this may not be the end for all the characters...

Wow, so I rated book 1 with 3 stars and that was because I'm weary of new authors. And it seemed like it was just a predictable messy drama that was an easy read. But book 2 solidified Ivy's gift for storytelling. As the tale unravelled and more secrets came to the surface. What really sold it for me was Jabari aka Jah character. He really stood out in this series. His storyline was the best. His crush on Jazmin unravelled in the best way and his vulnerability as a man was incredible to watch. I like that all of the male characters are realistic. Sean was the biggest narcissist it was crazy and spine chillingly scary. And I don't trust Lamar at all. The way he just popped out of nowhere was questionable. I thought it would be difficult to keep up with all the characters but Ivy does an incredible job of bringing it all together so you can keep up. I see why this series got such a high rating! I was skeptical at first but this is worth reading. I'm excited to read the last book in the series.
