I loved this book and found it extremely valuable starting up my school. It felt like we were talking in person. I liked the way she wrote it and broke everything down. I disagreed with one section about being cautious about hiring professional teachers to teach at your school. I do see her points she made but just felt like it wasn’t necessary to put into someone’s head. The ideas and philosophies of a micro-school can easily be learned by anyone - and there are people from all walks that either choose to put it to practice or choose not to. Singling teachers out that they might not be a good fit because they’ve done things a certain way in public schools seemed harsh. Overall AMAZING book!
This offers a lot of areas for prospective school founders to think through, if they haven't already, but a lot of it simply tells readers to do internet research on the various topics, and everything in this could be easily found online, in my opinion.
There's also a certain New Age vibe I got from the author that I didn't love.
