Nearly eighteen years after the events of A Faerie's Curse, a thrilling new adventure begins ...
Emerson Clarke: Sarcastic. Independent. Possibly losing her mind.
Because that’s the only explanation for why she occasionally sees things that aren’t there, right? But one night, an impossible power erupts from her, and Em realizes the truth is crazier than she ever thought: she isn’t losing her mind; she’s magical.
Thrown into an entirely new world of faeries, enchantments—and the annoying guy from down the road who, it turns out, isn’t human either—Em barely has time to learn even the most basic of magic before another startling truth reveals itself: she has a Griffin Ability. A special kind of magic feared by most fae. Now she’s at the top of everyone’s most-wanted list—including the mysterious glass faerie carrying out random attacks on fae.
In this magical and terrifying world that she’s entirely unprepared for, Em must try to figure out who she really is, whom to trust, and how to stay alive long enough to get back to her normal life.
Meet a new heroine and catch up with old favorite characters in this thrilling adventure packed with enchanting magic, unexpected twists, and a dash of romance.
Includes the following THREE Creepy Hollow books: Glass Faerie Shadow Faerie Rebel Faerie
Once upon a time, in a land not so far away, a young science graduate named Rachel found that the real world wasn't a place she wanted to inhabit all the time. So she decided to escape into the magical realms that had occupied her mind since childhood.
Armed with a vivid imagination, Rachel spends her days conjuring up fantastical worlds filled with adventure, romance, and plot twists, where readers can escape the real world along with her.
Rachel lives in Cape Town, South Africa, with her husband, two little wildlings, and three fur-babies.
I highly recommend you read the entire Creepy Hollow series. You will not be disappointed. It is full of fantasy adventure and romance.
There are different books in the series that focus on a particular character. In this set, you get the three books related to Emerson's story. Emerson is unaware of the magical world that exists until her abilities start to show and she sees the truth. It is a hard truth and an adventure that really challenges everything she believed to be true.
I loved all 3 of these books and it's great to have them all together so you never have to wait to find out what happens next! Emerson is a more human heroine than the other Creepy Hollow books. It's hard to say much without spoilers but there are lots of twists and surprises.
GLASS FAERIE Glass Faerie was a lot different than what I expected, it wasn’t quite like the previous Creepy Hollow books, especially the beginning, but then again kind of the same (if that makes any sense?). In the end, I loved it nonetheless. There was humour, a bit of action and a great storyline that I’m excited see how it all turns out for Emerson. I loved getting to know these new characters and well as some old ones (so happy to see Vi, Ryn, Calla and Chase back!). I can’t wait to see what becomes of Em and Dash (hopefully!). I loved their interactions and what they go through together, especially with Dash and how he’s always with Em not giving up. I can’t wait to see what Em does next and what twists Rachel has in store for us in the next book.
SHADOW FAERIE Going into this book, I knew exactly what would be revealed towards the end of the story (stupid me needs to stops flicking to the back of books!). But getting to that part was still a huge shock even after knowing about it. I loved the lead up to the reveal, with other characters involved, and I absolutely loved that huge surprise and how it impacts a lot of the others too. Even if I didn’t know about it, I would’ve loved the little clues Rachel left throughout the story (I won’t give anything else away, so I guess you’ll have to find out what that heart stopping moment was!). Again this book was action packed, full of magic mixed with a little humour and nail-biting scenes. I loved the relationship Em and Dash form, I even enjoyed what Roarke, Aurora and Em had together. Even though Roarke was one of the ‘bad’ guys, I still loved his character and how he went about the things he did. I loved getting introduced to even more new characters and getting to know them. Rachel’s stories just keep getting better and more than what I imagine, I can’t wait to see what’s next for Em and the rest
REBEL FAERIE Knowing this is the last book in the Creepy Hollow series, I tried to delay reading it just so it didn’t have to end. But my need to know what happens next was killing me, and I just had to get stuck in to reading it right away. And I absolutely loved it (no surprise there!). There was never a dull moment, with every page turned there was always some action/adventure happening to/with these characters. I loved those extra scenes with Calla and how easy they got along with each other, not mention Dash, Chase, Ryn and Vi. I was so happy Em found out who she was. I loved the suspense and the rollercoaster of emotions that were in this book as well as all the twists that had me on the edge of my seat. I’m definitely going to miss all these characters and the Creepy Hollow world.
A very good series. This one is about Em and Dash new younger character along with the old character. Even though it is a YA series I really enjoy it.It is very interesting, intriguing, With Drama, action and slight romance. Patiently waiting for the next. Really enjoy reading this series. Love all the intrigue and twists. Great characters, drama, humor, suspense and romance. The end? Would enjoy reading more in this series. Love the characters, drama, twists, angst, suspense, and romance. Great series.
Ah. Rereading this was great. Emerson isn't my favorite MC in this series. She's slightly arrogant - always thinking she knows better than everyone - naive, and very childish. Not that she doesn't grow out of some of that. And not that I don't understand some of the reasons why.... But... It was great to see Vi and Ryn again, Perry, Calla, Chase. Gaius too. And to meet Jack, and Dash, Roarke, Aurora and Ada. Okay, not so great to meet Ada, but she was written so well. I hated her. Practically instantly. I would dearly love my own Imperia and most definitely need a Bandit of my own. You don't get to see nearly as much of Creepy Hollow in this series as previously, but you do get to see the Unseelie Castle and some of its grounds and a few other very interesting places. And as sorry as I am to see this whole Creepy Hollow series come to a close, it was a great close. Many (if not all) threads tied together neatly in a happy ending package.
It took awhile to finish the series but the last three day I finally finished, the creepy hollow series has become almost like learning of my family history. Rachel morgan weaves a tale that drags you into the story that it makes you care about the story and characters within.
This is the third series of books in the Creep Hollow Series. We get to meet old friends, live a new adventure and see some stories tie up together in lovey creative way! Hope you enjoy as much as I did!
These books just get better. The characters are fun to follow and the author has created a wonderful world filled with twists, turns, love, heartache and HEAs. I really enjoyed the magic that was created in all 9 books.
A wonderful conclusion to a fantastic story line!!! I am sad that my time is over in Creepy Hollow, but I am looking forward to reading more wonderful stories by Rachel Morgan.
I went back and forth with my love for Emerson.....I thought she was a martyr, selfish, brave, strong, weak and so many more mixed emotions. But by the end of the 3 books she grew on me.
