Helen Edwards wrote a raw, brutally honest book. I feel most readers could relate to many topics she covered about her life. iWhen her brother committed suicide, I cried. I could relate to her pain, unfortunately, I’m a member of this clubs. Thank you Goodreads for this amazing read.

I stumbled apon this book from an old friend from middle school.. her sister wrote it. I found it when I was in need of something encouraging and positive in my life. I loved every minute of reading this very raw.. honest and open book. The stories shes told and the events she went through really hit home for me. I loved it so much I ordered a soft cover book.. the one I just finished was digital.
Would very much recommend this book to any woman struggling with life... needs a pick me up.. needs something positive or just loves a good story.

Honest

This was a Goodreads giveaway and it is not a book I would typically buy. She is as honest and real as it gets. She is a survivor and lived her life her way and made choices that must have just broken her heart and kept going, kept loving, and doing what she had to do. I would recommend this book to anyone who has been knocked down and needs to be encouraged not to stay there. I gave it three stars because, like I said, it usually isn't the kind of book I would generally read and it was a little too 'raw' for me but a good read, none the less.

I was absolutely enthralled through the entire book! I LOVED it!! All the juiciness, the truth bombs, the raw honesty and the authenticity in this book blew my mind! Helen's opinions are not for the faint of heart and they're not for those who aren't ready to look in the mirror and OWN their s**t!!!! I found myself having moments of, "omg I didn't know other women felt like that too!" OFTEN while reading this book! I would HIGHLY recommend this book to any woman that's on a self-love journey, no matter what level you're at!
