A decent book on the ancient 555 timer chip. The simple projects are enough to get one up to speed on this mighty pre-mcu chip. Good overview on how it works. Pretty dated projects but they can be fun to play with. If your looking for a little bit of analog nostalgia, 555 Timer Projects can get you there.

Does what it says on the tin.

Needed old 555 circuits for mole deterrent, simple circuitry yet robust.
Would prefer a hard copy but that is an ageist thing and for kindle price it's magic.
