The book is good, But please do not waste your money on the audio-book. I did and it was the biggest waste of money i have ever spent. The narrator is horrible. I wanted to rip my ears off 10 minutes in. i had to stop listening. Buy the book version and not the audio book.

I would have to agree with most of the other reviews. The book is great, but the audiobook was horrid. So many clips in the audio where the speech just cuts out or jumps, double recorded lines, and lack of inflection. The audio sounded like it was poorly recorded as well (too much atmospheric interference). Read the book, don’t waste your time on the audio until they decide to fix it. Honestly the author should get his money back because it really was a disservice to his great storyline.

Battle Royale is a solid choice.

I truly enjoyed this book. The battle royale setting was enjoyable and had a tension/flair to it that I think could be used again and again successfully. I'm looking forward to diving into the authors other works.

I feel like this was a short story trying to be a novel. It was good but I felt that if you took out all the descriptive text and just left the story that it would have been about 100 pages.

This was an amazing book. It was quite a different take combining a post Apocalypse word and virtual reality. It also allowed for copy powers that where not op which was great and strategic

For research. Too much narrative summary disguised as interior monologue. Ham fisted plot. Nice world-building. Battle royale tropes: The wave to force teams to fight. Parachuting in. Lost appeal to battle royale audience with fantasy weapons. Should've used guns.
