The continuing adventures of the crew of the Demeter...
It's a pleasant, business-as-usual time for Captain Zarro and her crew; their personal lives are moving forward while they continue moving goods across the galaxy. Though the Demeter is getting up there in years, it's still working quite well.
But when Captain Zarro has a chance encounter with an odd object, everything changes into NOT business-as-usual, and she and her crew are forced to abandon their schedule and adopt someone else's.

Firestone is the second book containing the characters from my Backflow book; both books are part of my Diamond Universe. Some of the other DU books Endland, Diamond On Your Radar, and Captain's Choice.

About the author--from the I have an academic background in engineering and science, and a degree in space science in part. For years I worked as a scientific copy editor for a nonfiction publishing house, but now I spend my days--and too many late nights--trying to solve fictional "what if" problems. I've been writing for over 24 years.

Characters are maturing, there were slow spots, on Rintu, but as Kostas said, you won't die... As long as the adventures keep me interested, I will keep reading the series. Gun play is a must though and some rough and tumble to make it real.

"Firestone" is Book 2 of 3 of the "Backflow" series and picks up after the dangerous events on Planet Genteron. Captain Lydia Zarro and her crew on the cargo ship "Demeter" are caught up in happy times regarding the crew and bad times that begin when a discovery is made on board the ship. This begins a wide-ranging adventure that will take them to unusual and dangerous places that seemed to exist only is rumor & legend. Very Definitely Recommended. Four PERILOUS Stars. Kindle 183 pages.
