Paco, the rugged VP of the Night Rebels MC, only stopped to get out of the rain and have some chow at the diner. He was headed back to Alina. He never intended on staying, but he saw her sitting alone at the booth next to his. She had on too much makeup and too little clothing for the cold wintry night.
Then she looked at him: her eyes were dark like an endless stretch of midnight sky. In their inky depths, he saw sorrow and pain and threads of fierceness. They drew him in.
He, the man who never looked past one night with a woman, wanted to know about this small woman sitting across from him. He knew he should just pay his bill, hop on his Harley, and head home, but he couldn’t.
Misty Sullivan hated the cold nights when she’d have to haul her butt from truck to truck to make enough to satisfy her boyfriend. She used to have another name, but that was a long time ago when she was normal and life was good. She tried not to remember what was—it just made her new life worse.
The stranger staring at her didn’t look like a trucker. He was decked out in leather and denim and looked at her like she was a person, not a piece of a$$. But… men couldn’t be trusted. They only wanted to use and abuse women. Yet, she sensed the sexy stranger was different.
A series of events kept throwing them together. Soon Misty’s past threatened to crash with her present. Could she trust the biker who was playing havoc with her heart to save her from destruction?
Paco had closed off his heart since his first love had shattered it many years before. Would Misty be the woman to break through his barriers? Could he let her slip away from him?
This is the fifth book in the Night Rebels MC Romance series. This is Paco’s story. It is a standalone. This book contains violence, sexual assault (not graphic), strong language, and steamy/graphic sexual scenes. It describes the life and actions of an outlaw motorcycle club. If any of these issues offend you, please do not read the book. HEA. No cliffhangers! The book is intended for readers over the age of 18.
Chiah Wilder writes about rough, sexy men who know how to treat their women.
Always a lover of books, she began writing at a young age and continued through college with collections of short stories. Figuring she had to grow up and get a “real” job, her writing was placed on the back burner.
Her love of reading has always been center front in her life. Chiah’s love of bad boys both in and out of fiction has inspired her books. She loves an alpha male whose softer side is brought out by a passionate, spirited woman. In fiction there are no rules or boundaries, and fantasies can go as far as the characters want to take them. Steamy, romances with tough, sexy bad boys are her guilty pleasure along with brownies, cheddar cheese, and movie marathons.
It was pretty decent and a fast read, the MC was ok, I liked him. It's not a "wow" book or anything like that, but it did do what it was supposed to, it made me smile and want to finish reading it.
Paco was the fifth book in the Night Rebels MC series by Chiah Wilder.
Paco was the VP of the Night Rebels MC. He was quiet but deadly. His MC and his sister were his world and he kept everyone else at bay.
Misty was being forced into prostitution. We knew there was a back story and learned quickly that she had been missing for eight years but we didn’t know the full details until later in the storyline. Her true situation was slowly revealed as the story progressed.
Although it was well written and well developed, this was a tough one for me. The first third of the book set the stage with Misty and there was forced prostitution with both physical and mental abuse. All were in the present versus the past and it was a tough read for me. Once I was past it, I was able to enjoy the suspenseful plot and it became a fast read.
I'm such a huge fan of Chiah Wilder every new release becomes my favorite , Paco can be read as a standalone I highly recommend you one click every one of this authors books so get your clicking fingers ready and your kindles charged you don't want to miss out on this journey . The blurb really intrigued me so when this baby hit my kindle I devoured it till the very end , we get some shocking moments , sad / angry scenes , and some pretty steamy sex that will leave you breathless . The characters you are meant to like you really really love can't wait to read some of their stories plus we get to see past brothers and how they are doing which I loooooove , the characters you are meant to hate you'll wish nothing but bad things happen to them . Like most men in the Nights Rebels Paco isn't looking for love after giving his heart to some one a long time ago he vows to never do that again and only do one night stands /club girls so when trying to wait out the rain he meets the heroine and is drawn to her can't stop thinking about her , he's pure alpha HOT , protective , dirty in a good way , and sweet / swoony . Oh my gosh my heart hurt for Misty this woman has been through so much all she sees is darkness without any hope then comes a man who rides a motorcycle and is sex on legs he does something kind that she isn't use to can she start hoping ? , I really liked her Misty is sweet , sassy , adorable at times , and beautiful . I really enjoyed this story which wasn't a surprise if you are looking for a good read that will keep you enthralled in the story then look no further one click Paco ( all of Chiahs books ) as soon as possible . copy provided for honest review **************************************** hero=10 heroine=10 secondary characters=10 Chemistry=10 steam= 7 romance=6 humor=5 darkness level=6 action=5 mystery=5 enjoyment=10 angst=3 story line=10 Story ending=10 character development=10 pacing=10 cover=10 stars=5 would I recommend this book=yes would I re read this book=yes would I read future books by this author=yes
Oh my goodness! I am so in love with Paco! Stoic, strong, and hopelessly romantic! A tumultuous and ominous thunderstorm throws Paco into Misty's life, mirroring the storms that both have weathered throughout their lives. Each calms the storm in the other. Misty is not in a good place in her life, having to hustle her body in order to live. She is judged harshly by one of the waitresses at the truckstop diner, but Paco sees through the tough girl facade and "sees" Misty the person. One chance meeting with the rough VP of the Night Rebels, and Misty has a renewed sense of faith in mankind. Another chance meeting between the two kicks Paco's protector side into overdrive, and the two kindred souls need to learn to trust in the opposite sex in order to protect both the club and themselves. Twist and turns are thrown at the reader - you think you have it figured out and then BAM! Chiah sets you off in a different tangent! I was so moved by the tenderness shown by Paco and his capacity to see beyond the outside. I fell in love with Misty's vulnerability and strength and her willingness to not let her horrid past define her, and Paco's stoic support of her growth and reclaiming of her life. I have always fallen a little in love with each of Chiah's heros, but I think Paco by far is my favorite! I enjoyed the build in the storyline and the build in intensity between Paco & Misty. Once again Chiah - you have gone above and beyond, and I look forward to your next installment!
I'm a sucker for a biker. If you're like me, you need MC book rehab but don't book your room at the facility until after you've read Paco.
This book was fabulous. Paco is the VP of the Night Rebels. He's remote and distant to most people but harbors a heart of solid gold. When a thunderstorm forces him off the road at a truck stop, the last thing he expects to encounter is Misty. Despite being broken, sick and hungry, she appeals to him and pulls at the walls around his heart. At first, it's basic human kindness that compels him to act but it's more than that when he finds it difficult to walk away from her.
Misty is a broken doll. One act of trust costs her everything. One moment and all she was supposed to become disappears. Her life isn't about living any longer, she's just surviving. Used to others treating her with barely veiled disdain, she's floored when a rough-and-tumble, albeit gorgeous, man offers to help her. Can she trust him? Can she trust herself with him?
Sexy and tough yet tender and relevant! Paco tackles the shocking, dark reality of sexual trafficking in our world today and does so in a completely compelling way. Our hero is an enigma; one minute, a chair throwing menace, the next, so sweet it'll make your teeth ache. At his core, he's a good but damaged man trying to rid the world of evil. Misty is a survivor, stronger than she even realizes and a truly wonderful character. I loved this book. Wonderful read!
Paco wasn’t looking for a woman when he pulled into the shabby truck pit stop, just a shelter from the rain, a place to dry off and a hot meal. But she caught his eye, her heavy make-up, skimpy clothing for a wicked night like tonight and a thin body that needed good a meal and she looked sick. That meeting change everything for Paco, he couldn’t get her out of his mind and the urge to find her again finally possessed him. Misty hated selling her body but it’s what she had to do, going from truck to truck making money to keep her boyfriend happy. Her life used to be different but that was before....Paco didn’t seem like a trucker, he was different some how, she’d like to meet him again.
A warning first, This is a really intense novel, and has subjects that some people may find offensive. Well that’s covered. This is a heartbreaking story of prostitution, abuse, kidnapping, rape and human trafficking. Misty is unfortunately drawn into this sick world and the stranger who gave her hope, Paco, is asking her to trust him and then helps her face her demons. It’s a dark story, emotional and bleak, and the feelings that Paco and Misty discover for one another is like a guiding light for both of them. An amazing tale of anguish and love, I highly recommend it!
As a member of the Nights Rebel MC, Paco knows all about brotherhood. He meets Misty at a truck stop during a storm. He sees a need and wants to take care of her. He pays for her food and gives her a safe warm bed for the night. He leaves the next day and neither of them can stop thinking about each other. When he sees her again, all bets are off! She tells him her story and he knows he must find a way to make her safe. Will he succeed or will Bobby and his goons ruin her life forever? Heartbreaking story. Excellent read.

Extremely sexy and hot. Warning: Your tablet might melt.
Paco and Misty just belong together. Misty has lived through hell and can still smile. Paco saved her in more ways than one when he picked her up. Amazing story, loved how he gave her the time she needed. Love this book! Big fan of Chiah Wilder and love every book I've read, she know how to weave a story!
Paco is hands down my favorite book in this series. The storyline was different then most and dealt with a subject that most people don't want to talk about, but it happens every single day in cities all across America and the world. Miss Wilder wrote about this sensitive subject in a very considerate way. She gave us a very realistic portrayal of what alot of people face in this situation. No I'm not going to say what it is......no spoilers here.......read the book!! This was a captivating story, one that will hold you from the first page. You won't want to put this book down until the very end. It was a raw, gritty read with plenty of twists and turns. I will say this one kept me guessing. Every time I thought I had it figured out I found out I was wrong. The who done it was a shocking surprise I didn't see coming. The romance is intoxicating, and passionate. The love story between Paco and Misty was a dream come true for both of them. A love neither of them could have seen coming, but one they both deserved. I would definitely recommend this book.
*I received an ARC copy of Paco by Chiah Wilder, and am giving a fair and honest review.*
I enjoyed Paco so much! The instant connection between Paco and Chelsea was so sweet and touching, it pulled my heartstrings and brought tears to my eyes. The authors portrayal of the background information and Chelsea's suffering was heartbreaking. An awesome story with a wonderful HEA! Can't wait for the next story in the Night Rebels MC, thank you so much Chiah!
I've read a few books from this author and I needed more. First of all because she writes my favorite genre. MC... No surprise there. Lol. And second because her words made me feel things... Chiah Wilder is the bomb writing MC. Her writing is full of scary stuff, sexy things, and wild ones as well. Paco is her latest release and it's the fifth book from the Night Rebels MC. But I need to tell you something first. Despite all books all standalones, I adise you to read the other 4 books from this series in order. You will understand this new book even better. Trust me. This book explores Paco and Misty's lifes. Paco is the Night Rebels VP. He's a reserved guy, rough around the edges but behind all that hides someone that has a golden heart. While on the road he's forced to stop due to a storm and what he finds will change his life forever. Misty is a broken girl that had lost everything. She's in a bad place and just wants to give up until a hunk of a man crosses her path... I knew that I was going to love this book I just didn't knew how much. The plot is superb, very well written, super engaging and intense. Each chapter was like a start of a new journey that almost made me insane. This book presented us with deceive, pain, betrayal as well as second chances, love and desire. Oh boy... The hot stuff... I'm in love with this series and I can't wait for more. It was amazing to have news from the other MC members. Chiah will we have more? Soon? I really hope so. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
4.5 stars I'm a sucker for a biker. If you're like me, you need MC book rehab but don't book your room at the facility until after you've read Paco.

"When Paco heads back home from visiting his Sister while she is having a baby, the rain comes out of nowhere. He stops on his way home at a truck stop to get out of the rain and meets Misty. She looks young, she is sick and he is drawn to her. He feels her fear even though she says that she is working the trucker lot because she wants to. He pays for her time and let’s her sleep in his motel room for the night.
After leaving her and heading home he can’t get her out of his mind. He thinks about her all the time and decides on his way to a bike show to veer off on his own and check on her. He finds that her group is gone and thinks that is the end of it.
When circumstances throw them together later can he get Misty/Chelsea to trust him and tell him the truth or will he have to let her go? I love Chiah Wilder’s books and this one is no exception!"
I really enjoyed this book! I've read a few other books by Chiah Wilder and liked them all but this HAS to be my favorite!!! I especially loved that this book focused on something I think gets much too little attention, prostitution is almost always HUMAN TRAFFICKING!!!! And this author showed that in a way I don't think I've seen before.
I loved the way Paco treated "Misty", right from the very beginning. "Misty" was sweet and in the "life" through no fault of her own. And Paco treated her with respect and consideration. Not something most would expect from a hardened biker. But there is something about "Misty" that calls to Paco, even after he leaves her alone in the room they had shared. And Misty can't forget the man that didn't ask for anything, simply showed her kindness, something no one had shown her is a very long time.
When circumstance throws them together again can Paco convince her to stay with him? Or has Misty been too damaged to take a chance on the biker with the heart of gold?
Paco was passing through a small town and riding in a storm isn't fun so he stopped at a small diner. Once inside he just wanted to be served and left alone but the waitress had other ideas, he finally just dismissed her, then turned and saw a beautiful woman sitting by herself. Seeing the waitress go over to her and tell her she couldn't stick around if she didn't order, so she ordered a tea much to the waitresses dislike. Paco spoke out and said give the woman what she wants and talked sat and talked with her. He could sense something wasn't right. She wasn't feeling well and once they talked some more he told her to follow him. She knew if she did it would get back to her boyfriend/pimp so she said she couldn't and Paco said never mind anyone else and got her to go. Once in the hotel, she was so happy to be out of the wet, she went to the bathroom and got ready. Then when she went out she found he had a t-shirt for her to use and told her to get into bed and take the meds he had on the side table for her. She couldn't believe he was treating her so well, he didn't even want anything. Morning came and time for Paco to leave and head back home. He found himself wanting to know more about the beauty but said good bye and got on his way. He couldn't stop thinking about her when he got back but life had to go on. He decided he would try and track her down but to no avail. She must have left where she was because the lady at the diner said that's why she wasn't around. One day he got a phone call and it was Misty, he couldn't believe she called. She was in trouble and needed some place to hide. Seeing Paco again was so good for her, she thought she would never see him again. Took her quite some time to tell him what happened to her, she needed to trust him first. As they continue to get closer, he learns why she ran and he got his club involved to help. Another great story from Chiah Wilder, love her books and her motorcycle Men.
I am fangirling, drooling, and fantasizing right now
Title: Paco: Night Rebels Motorcycle Club Author: Chiah Wilder Publication Date: 2/18/2018 Genre: Contemporary Adult Romance and MC Romance
I fell in lust with Hawk way back when and Chiah Wilder has kept the book boyfriends coming. Usually I am not one for insta-Love and in Paco it is an insta-connection. From the start this book reminds me of a classic Heart song, "All I Wanna Do Is Make Love To You".
The book is well written. Yes it can be read as a standalone but some of the storyline is a follow-over from previous books. Technically speaking it is very well written and the editing is well done.
I think the best part of this book is the character development. Yes we see each main character in their living environment and with each new situation and as they get closer we see how they change. Not just the alpha denial of falling in love but the outright progression as Paco falls and opens himself to the experience. We also see this with "Misty" as she learns to live and trust. We see spurts of emotion but we don't always feel. At times everything is very two dimensional. By this I mean sitting down and telling a story with little animation. Yet, there are times it is there and we are saying, "yeah hit that guy" or "no don't go". We feel the anger and the tears. Paco is a complex character. The trauma he has gone through... He met a kindred spirit that stormy night at a truck stop.
Both are broken and damaged and yup, they help put each other back together again. Cause you gotta be careful who you trust. Trust yourself.
Lots of triggers so just be warned. But between our H and h, STEAMY!!!! A feel good read. One Click It!
This book had me in my feelings, no other way to put it. I was angry, sad, and happy. Paco a biker who was driving through colorado from visiting his sister, had to stop at an truck stop because it was pouring rain. he is sitting at a dinner having some coffee when a woman sits across from him. Something in her eyes draws him in. The waitress is rude to her and Paco steps in. Paco and Misty exchange a few words before her phine rings and she is going back and forth with someone. Paco ask a few questions and finds out she is a lady of the night. Paco pays her for the night and brings her back to his hotel room, but not for what she thinks. Misty is surprised by his kindness when he says he doesnt want to have sex with her. all he did was so she can rest and get better. They talk a little and she goes to sleep. Thats all it took for them to make a deep connection. Neither Paco or Misty realise what that meeting will bring. Paco has a feeling Misty is being forced to prostetute herself. He is farthest from the truth, Her pimp is doing more then that. Paco has a Kindness to him that no one see's. Misty has a strength to her that she doesnt know she has. The abuse she has gone through is unimaginable. It broke might heart and is only a story, But it makes you think how close to home this really is. You really need to read this book. Chiah did an amazing job writing this book. You will not be disappointed in all the twist and turns. Thank you united indie book blog for allowing me to read this book.
TRUST Paco was strong. As VP of the Night Rebels, he had to be. For him, trust was his club, his club brothers, blood family. He didn't trust women. They had their uses and he never hurt them. Still, a couple of hours is all he ever gave them. Until...Once upon a stormy night...ducking out of the rain for shelter and food he saw her. Something in her eyes, sadness, pain, and maybe strength. He paid her bill so she could sit out of the weather before heading back out to service the truckers. He didn't judge her but there was something about her that didn't let him forget or ignore her either.
Misty hated her life. She'd given up trying to escape the man who controlled her. When the hot guy helped her she couldn't understand. He didn't want her. He didn't take her yet he helped her. Why? She couldn't trust him. Could she?
When he left her the next morning she thought she'd never see him again. She was wrong. They were meant for each other. That is if they could get past their trust issues. The MC had business that brought them together again. That must mean something. When he learned just how much danger she was in he helped her once more. Could he let her go again?
The couple is unforgettable. The club hot, deadly, and unafraid. The steam over the top. The women strong enough to deal with they MC guys, yet hot enough to keep them. I am addicted to this series and can't wait for the next one. Reviewed for Words Turn Me On
What a truly amazing and intense story! As usual, Chiah Wilder delivers with another MC romance that keeps you turning pages until the end. This was probably my favorite of the Night Rebels series because of the subject matter. The life that Chelsea has to live is so heart breaking and so prevalent still today in our society even though it is not talked about as much as it should be. This story is about courage, determination, finding ones self and never giving up. Chelsea is one of the lucky girls that happens to run into an amazing man in Paco who loves her unconditionally. Given her circumstances, most men would have turned their head, but Paco saw the woman and who she really is and what she has had to endure. Finding a man such as that is difficult and boy did she hit the jackpot. In return, Chelsea was the saving grace to Paco who was dead inside. His desire to heal Chelsea really allowed his own soul to heal. This review is not as informative as I would like it to be for fear of making it a spoiler, and I would love to say more. This truly is the best in the Night Rebels series and is a must read. It is Chiah's best work for this series. I recommend this one to anyone who loves reading about a persons journey and healing of ones soul through unconditional love and having the courage to keep living!!! Thank you Chiah! I loved it!!! I read this voluntarily as an ARC for an honest review.
Amount of sex 2.5 / 5 How explicit 2.5 / 5 Story 4 / 5 Overall: 4 / 5
Paco is the fifth book in the Night Rebel’s MC series by author Chiah Wilder. This is the first book that I have read in the series, and I had no issues with following along. Each book in the series focuses on a different couple, although the other couples do make appearances in the book.
Paco is the Vice President of the Night Rebel’s MC and on his way home from visiting his sister. He gets caught in the rain and stops off at a truck stop to wait out the rain. While there, he is taken with a women sitting by herself. One of the waitresses is being really cruel to her, and he feels compelled to help. Misty is not used to people being nice or helping her. She is living in a nightmare and is desperate to get out of it. Can she trust Paco? Can Paco let another woman into his heart after being burned years ago?
Paco does have some violence and does touch upon a difficult subject of human trafficking and forced prostitution. Even with the difficult subject, Ms. Wilder does a fantastic job of writing a convincing romance between the two characters. Yes, I do enjoy love-at-first-sight romances, but with this subject matter, it’s not realistic. Ms. Wilder did a fabulous job and a definite for your TBR list!
Paco can be read as a standalone, but as a biased fan of the Night Rebels series, I seriously recommend that you read all the previous books in the series in order, as it only enhances this book even more. Paco is the VP of the Night Rebel MC, and has no desire for relationships, as he was burned by his one & only serious girlfriend in the past, until fate stepped in when he stopped at a truck stop diner to get out of the rain. And this is where he met Misti, a young girl caught up in a nightmare, he saw pain & sorrow in her eyes on top of a fierceness that he could admire. It called to him in a way that confused him, and he wanted to help her. This is where Paco's story really got going. And that's all that I'm willing to give away of the plot, but I promise that it's full of soooooo much more, because Misti's story is one that brought me to my knees with eyes flooding. And yet, when she meets Paco, their journey is one of fiery hotness galore & sweet beauty. There is a colorful cast of secondaries which make up the Night Rebels who are hilarious to make me laugh a lot, and of course my favorite, the crazy twists to keep my f-bombs dropping loud & proud! Chiah Wilder with her brilliant writing style has given me another story to replace the previous story as my favorite, and I'LL NEVER GET ENOUGH OF HER BOOKS EVER! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
When Chelsea was fifteen she was kidnapped and sold to a pimp. She was raped, beaten and forced into prostitution. On a cold, rainy night, she goes into a diner to get warm and meets Paco. He shares his hotel room with her and leaves the next day. Paco is the Night Rebels VP. He had been visiting his sister when he stopped at the diner. The club has business to take care of and Paco sees a figure walking down a dark road. Chelsea found out her pimp had sold her to a vicious man, Victor, took the money and ran. He takes her to the clubhouse and hides her until she’s ready to go back to her family. Chelsea slowly gets around the wall of his heart. He wants her to stay but knows she needs to go back to her family and try to find normalcy. After a couple of months he can’t live without her so he goes back. She’s gotten her GED and helping at a shelter for women and kids of human traffickers. Someone tells Victor she’s back home and he comes to get her. Can Paco get to her in time before he loses her forever? I didn’t want to give too much away.Sexual explicit scenes, kidnapping, bikers, human trafficking and a shock you won’t believe. I love Ms. Wilder’s books and books this one was awesome.
Paco lets Misty/Chelsea into his heart where she lights up his darkness!
Paco is the VP of the Night Rebels MC and on his way back to Alina, after spending time with his sister while she has her third child, he stumbles upon a truck stop and diner, trying to get out of the heavy rain and lightning. Misty is ill and doesn’t want to be working at the truck stop, so she enters the diner for some soup and hot tea in the hopes it will help her feel better. When the waitress refuses to serve her, Paco helps her by putting what she has on his tab. He goes one step further and offers her a dry place to stay with no strings attached!
As I read this story, I realise that not much emphasis is placed on women who are in prostitution and whether it was willingly done or not. Chiah definitely shines a bright light on this topic as well when a person is sold into sexual slavery, the ramifications of how it affects everyone. I loved how Paco took a shine to her from the beginning but also how he treated her like a person and didn’t objectify her or demean her because of what she does for a living.
Great read, lots of sensitive issues that were handled well and a beautiful romance which blossomed from the broken despair that Chelsea thought her life would be!

Fantastic – completely and utterly fantastic!! That’s the only words I can think of to describe this book. I haven’t read anything by this author before and I have no idea why!! I was completely captivated by this story from page 1. It was everything I love in an MC novel and more! I absolutely need to go back and read the first 4 books in this series now! Paco and Misty’s story was just so heartbreakingly beautiful. I absolutely loved the both of them. I think Paco is my perfect MC book boyfriend – he is hot, sexy, brooding and will always protect those that matter to him! I couldn’t help but want to get in my kindle and give Misty the biggest hug ever. I connected with her instantly and just really wanted her to be happy. I loved that she continued to smile after everything! I really cannot recommend this book enough, there are some pretty sensitive topics included in the story which the author does mention but I can say that they were written about well. All lovers of MC novels will love this book – I know I did!!
I commend Chiah Wilder for shedding light on such an important topic as sex trafficking and using that as the backdrop to this story made it all the more interesting. Paco, I thought was a great character. He was kind, caring, gentle but also had that alpha male sex appeal about him. Misty/Chelsea was such a strong woman to endure what she did and come out of the other side. I liked both of these characters separately but, for me, I just didn't feel that chemistry between them for the most part. I felt that Misty/Chelsea had quite a youthful/immature quality to her in the way that she thought about Paco and their budding relationship and how she came across and Paco, in my opinion, had a more warm brotherly type of protectiveness about him with Misty/Chelsea. I did start to feel their connection towards the end of the book a bit more but something between these two characters just fell flat for me and I felt that the book lagged a little bit in the middle.
I am hyped about Wheelies book in the Insurgents MC!!!! I cannot wait.
Paco is book 5 in the Night Rebels MC, and is just as addictive as the previous books in the series.
This book had me hooked from the very start. Paco is a very strong character, he is your typical alpha biker, but throw in a dose of moody and you have our hero. Misty, well I couldn't help but love her, even if she does get one of my men 😂😂. Misty has been beaten and broken, both physically and mentally. My heart really hurt for this young lady. Throughout the book both these characters are tested to their limits. Paco struggles with his feelings for Misty due to his past heartache, but knows he needs to help her survive the hell that has plagued her for the past 8 years. Misty, quite rightly has trust issues and doesn't believe her self worth.
This story has so many twists and turns, you know all along that someone close to Misty has betrayed her, but I was thrown by that revelation. This book evoked lots of emotions in me, I felt the lust and love between this couple and the hurt and betrayal they were both subject to. Fantastic read, and I personally can't wait for the next book in the series.
Paco is my favorite book from Chiah Wilder yet! I was completely blown away by this one. It had me captivated the second I started reading and kept me up until 2 A.M. I couldn’t get enough. It wasn’t even one of those “just one more chapter” kind of reads, it was one of those “GIVE ME EVERY PAGE RIGHT NOW!” kind of reads. Paco and Misty’s story is phenomenal!
This book packed an emotional punch. I think I felt every emotion ever while reading this. Heartbreak, anger, and love. So. Much. Love. Paco is so amazing. He is of course a tough bada*$ biker, but he’s also a truly good man with one of the kindest hearts I’ve ever read. The way he was with Misty had me swooning left and right. Misty not only needed a man like him, she deserved it.
My heart broke for Misty and all she’s been through, but she’s one of the strongest women I’ve ever read about. Together they are one of my all time favorite couples. Their love is absolutely beautiful. Once again, Chiah Wilder proves why she is a favorite of mine with this book.
So I have been in love with Paco since the beginning of this series. I have been waiting for his book. And was so excited when I heard that he was finally getting his book. I couldn't wait to dive into it when it fell on my kindle. But I have to admit that's about where my excitement ends.
I want to make it clear I loved Paco in this book. My love for him didn't change. He was sweet, kind and caring. I loved how much he cared for his sister and nephew's. And he showed how sweet and kind he was to Misty/Chelsea.
I liked Misty, aka Chelsea. The girl has not had an easy life for the past eight years. I felt for the girl. I really did. But I just never connected with her.
As I said above I had been so excited for this book. But unfortunately it just kind of fell flat for me. I found myself skimming through a ton of it and I even found myself skimming through the smexy parts. Which was really sad to me. I also kind of felt it moved a bit slowly.
I'm giving this book 3.5 Stars out of 5!!!
