If you ask, you'll never be in.
University Boathouse, tomorrow night 9 p.m.
And just like that, my plan for a normal, average college semester flies right out of the window.
Enter the Golden Boy Colton, Basketball player.
Eloise on Colton
Taller than London Bridge and built like a Michelangelo statue on steroids. His hair is McDreamy worthy, black as night and flowing in closely cropped waves. jaw cut from steel and there is a mole just under his right cheekbone. Eyes blue in the middle with a ring of green circling the aqua pool.
Colton's thoughts on Eloise
Blond hair, dark blue eyes, body like a Victoria's Secret model- this girl looked like one of those old school nineties models before being stick thin was the in thing. Like Christie Brinkley or Claudia Schiffer or Pamela Anderson in her Baywatch days.
-But ask me to show you my soul, explain my childhood, let you into my most inner thoughts.. and I shut down. No one would understand where I came from, or why I operated the way I did. and I didn't want to lay it all out for them, let someone close enough to destroy me or my trust. - Colton
So it scares the shit out of me that this flame exists between Eloise and I, that flickering mutual desire that has us circling each other like animals.
I don't need, or have time, to entertain the idea of being with someone.
"You surprised me too, I have to admit I was never looking for you, or anything like we have. Part of me always thought I wasn't cut out for this, romantic dinners or inside jokes or spending all your time with only one other person..." Eloise
This was a fantastic read and I really enjoyed it. It had some super steamy scenes and I just loved the banter between Colton & Eloise. This book also had a mystery aspect to it.
Eloise had a spine of steel and did not let anyone get to her ever. And I loved that about her. I also loved how there was no over the top drama taking pace either. Sometimes these college romances can be a bit over the top but not this one. I loved every single page!
