Sōichirō Yamamoto (山本崇一朗, Yamamoto Sōichirō) is a Japanese manga artist. He is known for writing and illustrating Teasing Master Takagi-san and Soredemo Ayumu wa Yosetekuru. Both series have been published in Monthly Shōnen Sunday and Weekly Shōnen Magazine, respectively.
Another gently humorous entry in this middle school battle of the wits/romance. This book is heavy on its status quo with each chapter being a complete gag that does little to advance the overall story.
the teasing continues. this is still a cute series but I don't find it super funny and it feels like it lacks originality. Saying that there were cute moments like the shirt switch scene, or the study scene, a easy going fun time.
I like this series. My main gripe, though, is that Takagi is really a bit mean-spirited and that really bothers me (even though I know she’s just “teasing” the boy she likes).
I wonder just how many volumes it will take for these two to get together or even actually confess... It feels like it's gonna take extremely long. Good things this series seems to read very fast though.
I liked this one more than the first. There were definitely some cute ones in here that had me smiling at the pages. It's so funny to watch these two be nervous around each other when they so obviously like each other. I think my favorite one in this volume was Letter.
Nishikata can’t let his guard down around Takagi. Every time he thinks maybe he can trust her, like when she offers to tutor him math, it seems there’s a twist (like she teaches him something that isn’t on the test). Could she actually be a friend, or is he just a play thing for her to tease and torment?
Takagi is going to give Nishikata serious trust issues. Still, this is a cute manga with humorous bits. I will keep reading it.
Notes on content: Language: I don’t remember any. If anything, just 1-2 minor swears. Sexual content: They get caught in the rain and Nishikata is very aware he can’t look at Takagi because her shirt is wet. He then puts on a dry shirt of hers and is hyperventilating because it once touched her skin. Nothing more than that. Violence: None Ethnic diversity: All characters are Japanese. LGBTQ+ content: None specified Other: Takagi is psychologically playing with Nishikita’s emotions but in her defense, he blushes super easy and is possibly over-sensitive.
This is just cute fluff. It’s not terribly deep and a little repetitive, but its heart is in the right place.
I will say this is one of the only ‘one shot at the back’ extras I’ve ever enjoyed - you see the original concept for the series and it is shocking what something as simple as drawing a pair of eyes differently does for the overall tone. Really fascinating.
again this manga has so much potential but some part of me was just bored reading till this volume. Honestly kinda sad because i love reading manga with straightforward main girl and blushing main guy in it. I'm gonna dropped this manga series just because I think other people will love the series more than I do and I don't want to rate the manga than 3.
3.25 Stars. Another quick reading entry with one or two laugh out loud moments. I will continue with the series, as I am excited to see where it's going but at the moment it is nothing groundbreaking.
Terlepas dari sifat Takagi, betul2 terhibur dengan sifat nakashita. Bikin gregetan Komedi ringan yg mudah dicerna dan menenangkan. Sy selalu suka pilihan coloring pada kaver2 serial ini.
