Another great Rose Pressey book. Hallie's neighbor cracked me up for an older lady. She certainly is spry for a lady her age. Thomas seems to miss all the action. I wonder what he is really doing while he is gone. I do wish the book had been a bit longer and maybe solved more of the mystery of the cauldron. I am curious about its origins. Overall, a fun story.

Rose Pressey has done it again! Halloween, Nicolas, and Liam are back with more people wanting the Book Of Mystics. Well, Nicolas is gone and Halloween and Liam have no idea why. Could this be the end of the relationship between Hallie and Nicolas? Or is he trying to help her in some way? And will the people after the book this time get it? This is the 9th book in the Halloween Laveau series and it's just as good as the 1st and has be eagerly awaiting the 10th!

Excellent
Hallie taking on the werewolf with her mom is amazing! She spends so much of this book kicking butt by herself, but she does it with the best lines! Great humor all through this and I love that even though she loves Nicolas she still makes him explain himself and doesn't let him and Liam's fighting just go, she calls them on it. She does need to open the book though. 😬

A Charmed Cauldron: Book 9. 4.7 stars
Wow! This book had so much ground to cover, strangers wandering around Hallie's Manor and her boyfriend off in Texas. Oh and let's not forget her old boyfriend (Liam) helping her & her mom out. Once all the bad guys came out of hiding, and everything got settled Hallie accepted her sweeties suggestion they should just elope while everything had settled down. Guess book 10 will start off at a run!

Enchanted
I have read a number of the Halloween LaVeau series and am now reading those I've missed. This series is indeed Charming and has an enchanting cast of characters. I am loving catching up on the adventures I have missed!

Fun
This was pretty much the same as the last book. This time werewolves after the mystic book. Another abductions of Nicholas and Hallie. Still indecisive over Liam and Nicholas.

Purchased in error thought it was free during a stuff your kindle.day. The only plus it is a stand alone in the series. The story however was very boring, obvious outcome, and a whole lot of fluff.

I truly enjoy this series for entertainment purposes. Normally, I would give this a 4 Stars rating. However, the author seems stuck on repeating I said, he said, she said, Laim said, Thomas said with no other variations. I recall being in grade 3 and a teacher posted 100 different ways to exclaim how someone has said something. Unfortunately, I grew up before cellphones and computers therefore I no longer have the expression from over 40+ years ago. But almost everyone has access to the internet nowadays.Read
