Stella Storm is back. After cracking her first case a year ago with the help of her witchy abilities, life has settled for Stella. Business at Witchy Delights is going smoothly. And her mischievous talking pet seems to have picked up a whole new set of words.
But everything changes when a local bad boy is found dead at a wedding. The problem? Most of the population of Goosridge were at that wedding. And plenty of them had reason to kill him...
Now, faced with a whole load of suspects and a whole manner of obstacles, Stella is forced on a journey to solve a twisting, turning mystery that threatens to swallow up everyone involved. Add in the romantic tension with the handsome local detective, and things aren't quite a piece of cake for Stella (even if she does manage to eat plenty).
And just when she thought she had enough on her plate (drama, not cake), an impromptu visit from her long lost magical family rocks her world to the core...
Will Stella be able to deal with all her personal problems while solving a twisting mystery?
The second book in the Stella Storm Cozy Witch Mystery Series, Murder & Macarons is a sweet treat for fans of the genre. Feet up, cupcakes at the ready. Once you dive in, you won't be able to resist...
A good read but just wish Stella was more likeable. She seems to be so full of herself but not in a good way. A wedding, a murder and a family visit all throw her for a loop. Who wanted him dead. Was it the nefarious dealings going on or something closer to home? Nice twisted plot with a perfect twist at the end but the characters were just a little off. However the plot makes this a great read.
