It’s summer in California, and Elle is spending her days at the beach with Hunter, learning to surf and perfecting her blonde highlights. With everything going so well, Elle is surprised when she discovers that life at the beach isn’t as perfect as it seems. Someone is polluting the water and hurting the seals that live there. The animal-loving Elle knows she has to do something. With some sly manicure maneuvers, Elle devises a plan to save the seals…and prove that there is more to beach blondes than people think.

I thought that this book was great! Elle Woods goes through so much to save a seal colony/baby seal she named Sassy. I give it 4 stars (if you could do half's, than I would give it 4 1/2 stars instead). I didn't think that is was as predictable as the first book in this series (Elle woods Blonde At Heart).
The theme of this book is: if at first you don't succeed, try try again! How this fits into the book: Elle tries to tell people about how Saunders company was breaking the law by building on land that was reserved for seals, by being interviewed and having her story be put on the news. The news people actually edited her interview to make it seem like she said different things than she really had. It made her seem dumb! As this happened, Elle didn't ever give up on telling her people about what The Saunders company was really doing!
I recommend this book to younge teens who like girly fun books!
In this series we met a teenage Elle Woods, a bit brighter ( and less clueless at times ) than her Hollywood Counterpart but still as kind, peppy and animal loving as ever.
This novel follows Elle during her Summer Beach adventures in the So Cal's Seal Beach. During the 211 pages Elle must figure out how to save an endangered seal colony from local money hungry mall/housing developers. I picked up the book because it was on sale for $1, yes $1!!! and I have a soft spot for that Elle Woods. The book wasn't horrible, it was readable but for me, a bit boring. I think that this is largely due to the fact that the book is best suited for young girls below the age of 15.
This is a great beginning chapter read for independent readers and an okay read for your own day at the beach.
Another cute book about young Elle Woods and her friends. This time they are on the beach (it's summer) and Elle has to learn to surf in time for the big competition. And though she doesn't have a passion to win, many others do...
Loved it! Elle is a push forward kind of girl, and I like it. I recommend this to all who liked Legally Blonde, and all who love realistic fiction. Thank you Madison for the wonderful birthday present! Loved it!
