I’m wowed. Jeanne Haine’s book and videos are all quality but this is her best yet. Deeper explanations and the occasional step-by-steps are great but it’s the exploration of color and essential features by season that blew me away. A new studio staple.

Full of inspiring paintings of abstract flowers along with step-by-step how to demos. A little short on composition, but you can find that information in other books. The author / artist certainly shares her enthusiasm for flowers in a relatable fashion! If you want to see and learn how to paint loose watercolor flowers, this is a great place to look!

Worth Every Penny
Great descriptions of her abstract floral drawings that tell the viewer not what the artist is seeing, but rather how the artist is feeling during the painting process.

loved this book and found it helpful with my art and technique, she is encouraging, and her approach is fun and easy to follow, she does teach an online class that I might consider and am hoping to purchase her other books

Another exceptionally inspiring book by Jean. I very rarely read more than a few pages before picking up my art materials.
