FREEBIE on amazon 12/15/2018. Purchased this because it contains the novel "Trick"- which received a 5 star rating from Kiki and therefore I absolutely have to read it.
This is the first book/series from this author that I’ve read and to be honest I’m on the fence.
I liked it but there was something about these three books in this collection that seemed too juvenile in how these characters acted.
Book one - let’s be honest, a grown man paired with a 6 year old girl to spend alone time? This speaks pedophile to me. And then just like that, Trick and Hadley are in love. It’s just too picture perfect and no angst.
Book two - Nina storms out and files for a divorce from Sketch because he works too much but then one day she comes by and sees another woman flirt at him then game on she wants him back!? This book was 95% from his point of view that at times I would have loved to hear her thoughts. It was actually frustrating.
Book three - Reed Shamrock and Cassandra Straight…you couldn’t come up with better last names? This one to me was the most juvenile. They argued over a misunderstanding and their reasoning of staying away was childish.
Overall, not bad and entertaining if you’re ok with overlooking the finer details.

Three love stories that reflect normal life. Book 1 - Patrick (Truck) & Hadley , a reformed bad boy who is involved in a program that mentors fatherless kids and Hadley a divorced mom with a 6 year old little girl whose father has basically deserted her. Two opposites that bond over this precocious little girl. Book 2 is about Sketch a tattoo shop owner/artist and his estranged wife Nina and their struggle to stay together. Book 3 features Reed and Sass (Cassandra). Sass's big brother Justin and Reed have been friends from childhood and Sass has been in love with Reed since she was fourteen. It was enjoyable to watch the true love develop between them. All three are standalone books and I highly recommend this anthology.
Everyone needs a little sass in their life and my best friend's little sister had plenty in fact that is her nickname Sass. I'm Sass and have had a crush on him since i was 14, but currently he is wrapped around her finger until he walks in on her with one of his best friends well you'll just have to read if. Enjoy
The Love Collection is 3 amazing story by Laramie Briscoe...A new life and love, a second chance with a forever love, and a friendship turn love....as always Laramie has put done herself with these 3 amazing standalones...
The details of the book were spot on. The split conversations with the main characters were interesting. I had never read a book like this and really liked it. Looking forward to reading more of her books.
This was a good light hearted read. I enjoyed it. The only thing was they were a little more predictable than I usually like. I liked the characters a lot.
Too much internalizing. Both characters are always in their head, often repeating the same internal dialog. More conversation between characters please.
This is a great collection. Each couple has their own story to tell while they draw you in and make you call for them and I couldn't turn the pages fast enough.
