Decent intro to the movie - stops short of the ending, so there are no MAJOR spoilers, but it still covers a lot of the plot.

It's fun to have some extra knowledge of some things like starship models and names of the assorted gamblers who don't get much screentime.

I love star wars so I enjoyed reading this book. It is about Han Solo, a main character in the star wars we know today but this is a backstory about his origins and how he became the space cowboy he is today. We see him join the empire, meet Chewbacca (also an iconic character in star wars), and get involved with heists and crime. He also meets Lando and gets the millennium falcon, it's a great prequel to what we know today.
