Bramley, Bam, as he’s known to his friends and family is a Bear shifter. He’s also a healer. He senses things about others and the world around him, but he can’t get a sense of what’s right for himself. He’s always known he wasn’t enough for a Mate. And he’d accepted it; until her. The female that would have been his Mate, had he been born worthy of one. And didn’t fate just love to jerk him around? It wasn’t enough that he couldn’t have her. She had to be placed right in front of his eyes where he had to interact with her and watch her find the male she was truly destined for. But it’s okay; he’ll watch over her, protect her, and love her enough to let her go when she finds her male. Only now, after pushing her away repeatedly so she’d find her true One, she’s missing. And he’ll be damned if he will allow her to stay missing; her male should have protected her better. He’s gonna find her, he’s gonna bring her home, and whether he’s worthy or not, he’s making her his! If he survives, that is…

Everly grew up forced to submit, used by the Fox skulk she was born into and especially by its heir apparent. It’s just the way of the world she lived in, but she’s always wanted more, wanted better. A chance encounter when she was young introduced her to a new friend and a whole new world of possibilities. Thanks to her friend and her friend’s brother, she learns to stand on her own, defend herself, and she refuses to settle for less than she knows she deserves. Then she meets him, her Mate. But he won’t have her, no matter how hard she tries. Until one night they finally connect. Just when she thinks it’s all going to be okay, her world comes to a screeching halt when he rejects her a final time, telling her to go to a male that means nothing to her. She runs away from her home, her friends, everything, as she searches for solace. There’s only one thing that could bring her back, her Mate. And now he needs her; his very survival depends on her. She’s going after him, and after she saves him, she’ll walk away if he still doesn’t want her. Now she only has to hope that she’s strong enough to save him, ‘cause she’s going in alone.

Edmond is Alpha of the local Fox skulk. He believes he’s entitled by birth and is cruel by nature. He was humiliated by Everly years ago and has fixated on her ever since. He’s managed to make her life a living hell. As far as he’s concerned, she’s his property to do with as he desires, and he plans to keep it that way. But there’s a chink in his plan; there’s a big Bear shifter hanging around lately, and Everly thinks the Bear is her Mate. Edmond is livid; the Bear not only interfered with his afternoon plans of a little fun with Everly, but he and his Wolf friend injured both Edmond and Edmond’s little brother. Any fool knows what that means; the Bear has to die, a slow and painful death at that. And Everly? She’s going to suffer for causing Edmond so much trouble. Neither one will ever know what hit them.

This is the fifth book in the Avaleigh’s Boys Series. This series follows a group of shifters who make their home in the backwoods and bayous of South Louisiana. Their clan consists of a mix-matched group of five shifters who depend on one another and are loyal to no end. These are their stories.

Warning: Intended for mature audiences. These stories contain hot bear, dragon, wolf and lion shifters. They like to cuss, fight and love their women. This book contains explicit love scenes, lots of use of the “F” word (among others), some violence, and possibly some abuse both real and inferred that may be disturbing for some readers.

I write Paranormal, SciFi and Fantasy Romance. Why, you may ask? Romance, because who doesn’t love a good romance, and the lack of reality in the story lines - because, well, normal is highly overrated. I’m 55, I have two kids, one 32 and one 12 (yes, God does have a sense of humor), one grandchild, one husband, and a menagerie of animals. Literally, too damn many things that eat wandering around our property. I love to cook, and I am a voracious reader, though since I started writing I don’t get as much time to read as I once did. I am a homebody and prefer my writing/reading time to a crowd. I have had stories and fictional characters wandering around in my head for as long as I can remember. I started letting them out into the real world and surprisingly, people have loved them. I am a Self-Published Author, and I like it that way because I can decide what and when to write. I am by no means a formal, polished, properly structured individual and neither are my stories. But people seem to love the easy emotion and passion that naturally flow from them. A bit of a warning though, there are some “triggers” in them that certain people should avoid. I’m a firm believer that you cannot have light without the dark. You cannot fully embrace the joy and elation that my people eventually find if you do not bear witness to their darkest hours as well. So please be sure to read the warnings supplied with each of the synopses about my books before you buy them. I've got three series published at this time, Avaleigh's Boys - PNR, Whispers From the Bayou - Fantasy PNR, Haven - a SciFi, and three more in process. I’m a bit sarcastic, scathing actually, and a smartass to boot, so if I offend you, it is most likely not intentional. But be prepared because it probably won’t be the last time. I’m always glad to hear from readers; those who have followed me from the beginning, and those who have just found my people. So feel free to look me up and say hello, or just follow along; either way, I’m glad to have you.

Assumptions and misunderstandings!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance: 🩵🖤❤️💚
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📙📘📔
World building: 🌏🌍🌎🌏🌍
Character development: ☹️☺️😍😄🥰

The Hero: Bramley (a.k.a. Bam) - he is a half grizzly bear/half black bear shifter. He is part of a clan of different types of shifters in the Louisiana Bayou. They own a construction company together and most of the males have now found their mates. Though Bam has always known that he wasn’t enough and would never have a mate. He is a healer bear, meaning he can speak to the animals of other shifters and sense their emotions. He sees his friends with a gold aura, which gets really bright when they meet their one (or ever as he calls them). Though he doesn’t have an aura at all, so he doesn’t think he is deserving of a mate, even after he meets her.

The heroine: Everly (a.k.a. Ever) - she is a fox shifter. She was part of a skulk (clan) of foxes since she was a little girl, and her parents were killed (not by accident). The alpha of that skulk often took girls as his own once they hit puberty and his son took Everly as soon as she started puberty. He claimed her as his, used her whenever he wanted and even shared her with his friends. Since she grew up, she moved away from the skulk and now owns her own business in town where she makes sculptures and fountains out of metal. Valerie, her best friend and Valerie’s brother Vince are both lion shifters and they helped protect Ever.

The Story: Since Valerie mated Maverik and moved into clan territory, the skulk has been bothering Everly again. The one who thinks she is his, rapes her when he wants and makes her pay for his “Protection”. He brings his two friends with, and she can’t fight all of them. Though once Bam knows what is happening, he does his best to protect her even though he doesn’t think he can really claim her since he isn’t “golden.” He thinks he will just end up making her miserable.

Bam has been my favorite character since the beginning of this series. His parents abused him when he was young and made him feel stupid for being different. He always thought he wasn’t good enough. Though in reality he is just a gentle giant. He is a really big guy and his bear is huge, and he looks at everything kind of like a child. Though he is also very smart and incredibly intuitive. Since he was young, he liked to take apart electronics and appliances and see how they work and them put them back together, so he has a side business of fixing things like that.

There were a lot of misunderstandings going on and incorrect assumptions in this story, not just between the two main characters, but also between Riley and Maia. Riley is planning on leaving and going to Missouri where he is buying Amos’s old place and land. Riley is a strong Alpha panther and can’t really handle all the alpha’s in Kaid’s pack, so he is going to start his own pride and he wants to set it up, along with a new business and a good life so that when Maia is old enough and ready to be his mate, that he will have built a nice life for her (This will be a spinoff of the current series). However, she misunderstands just about everything he does and overhears him a few times making terrible assumptions about him and his motives. Though I can’t wait to read that series after this one.

Omg!!! Sandra R Neely has not let me down!! She is a great author with such an amazing talent!!! this is the 5th book in her series.
Avaleigh's Boys have waited for a long time to find their mates.
Bam is a bear Shifter, He had always been special, he can see his clans aura when their mates are near. Bam found his mate Everly, but could not see his or her aura. He denied the pull, he thought he was not good enough. Bam's Ever is an emotional rollercoaster. I laughed, I giggled, I cried.
It is full of Suspense, action, romance and full of sexy alpha shifters!!!
Will Bam ever accept his mate? Will Everly wait for Bam? What are you waiting for??? Grab Bam's Ever. You won't regret it!!
I would definitely recommend this book to all my friends. Great job Sandra R Neely!!!

OTT drama supported with good action, and resolution. The plot was good, but I found the pacing and detailed explanations very tedious. The H hold certain beliefs, and they cause big issues when he meets his mate. She's been a victim of great cruelty, but she's grown and is able to save him. I liked this series, but the writing style has moved to a very Telling style. Less is more, it needs a better editor.

Book #5, Avaleigh's Boys. Bam's Ever is a delight! You'll cry and cheer! The suspense is riveting to the very last page!

Bam's a bear shifter, a very SPECIAL shifter. He's a healer, prescient, and can see the fated mates of his friends and family. But he's always known there's no mate, no "Ever" for him. He's just not enough. Despite his nurturing nature and the deep, abiding love he has for his mix-matched shifter clan, he's incomplete. Then Everly, a fox shifter, enters his life. Despite his Bear roaring that Everly's their mate, Bam knows his Bear is wrong. Neither he nor Everly are "golden," the one true sign that a shifter's found their fated mate. Bam pushes Everly away, knowing it's best for both of them. But Everly knows Bam's her mate. She's feisty, fiery, and independent. Having left her fox shifter skulk at the behest of her best friend, Valerie, she's become successful in business, a sculptor of extraordinary talent, She's also terrified. She's had to fight the unwanted attention of Edmond, the entitled and vicious Alpha of the fox skulk, time and again. What's she to do? Edmond and his lackeys won't give up. They're bigger, stronger, and outnumber her. Despite her self-defense training and friends' support, she's just one small female. After a particularly vicious episode, Bam finds himself front and center, not only in Everly's fight but in her entire life. Unfortunately, he puts not just Everly, but himself, straight into Edmond's line of fire. And he still denies she's his mate. When events conspire to separate Bam and Everly, by both emotional and physical distance, the worst that can possibly happen does. Bam's fighting for his life. His denial could destroy him, body and soul. Can Everly make a difference? Will Bam ever be able to accept the truth? Is there any possibility for these two to accept reality? Both Bam and Everly's lives are on the line. Bam may lose his only chance at his "Ever." Is there any way to save these two? Or will the evil incarnate chasing both doom them?

I've been waiting for Bam's story for what seems like forever. Sandra Neeley doesn't disappoint! In my opinion, this is the best book yet in this series. Bam and Everly are ever at cross purposes. They both feel "less than" but for far different reasons. There are forces that pull them together, yet drive them apart, breaking your heart in the process. Fair warning. Reading this story will require several boxes of tissues! Bam's so loving, caring, and cherishes everyone in his life. But his insecurities blind him. Everly's beautiful, a force to be reckoned with, a true friend, talented beyond measure. Yet she can't see her own worth. These two are irresistible! I was transported into their world the minute I started reading to the exclusion of all else! It's obvious Ms. Neeley knows every aspect of the people and region in which the story's set. The rich ambiance of the Louisiana bayou country is evident in every word. The overwhelming acceptance and power of family and love evident in the clan surrounding both Bam and Everly is incredible. Bam and Everly may be the soul of this story, but the clan around them? They're the heart! This may be a paranormal shapeshifter novel, but the characters, their lives, and emotions are totally authentic. I've loved every one of Ms. Neeley's books, but none more so than Bam's Ever. I was transported to a world I never wanted to leave! Sandra Neeley is a storyteller extraordinaire. Bam's Ever deserves so much more than five stars! Thank you, Ms. Neeley, for again giving us an unparalleled reading experience!

One final note. Please be an informed reader and consumer! This is an adult book. It contains explicit language and several sexual scenes. If you don't enjoy this genre, think hard before buying any book you know you won't enjoy. There are book synopses and reviews available on Goodreads and all booksellers' websites. Use these resources. DON'T LEAVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW WHEN YOU KNOW YOU WON'T ENJOY THE BOOK. It's not fair to the author. She works extremely hard to provide a quality work product. If you know you'll object to the book's subject matter before you buy it, you're doing yourself and the author an extreme disservice.

Thanks for reading my review and happy reading!

This is the 5th book in Avaleigh's Boys series and so worth the wait. You get all the lovable characters from the the first four books plus some newcomers.
Book 1 I'm not a Dragon's Mate!
Book 2 Bane's Heart
Book 3 Kaid's Queen
Book 4 Maverik's Ashes

Bam is like a lovable shifter healer bear, you can't help the feeling of wanting to protect him and wrap him up in bubble wrap. Everyone of his clan is moving on around him, but he don't see the golden glow that he sees around all the other loved up couples in his life, so when he does meet the one that should be his forever he pushes her away. Life can change in the blink of an eye and has he made the biggest mistake of his life denying his bear's true feelings?

Everly is a shifter fox, she has a bad gang of shifters literally on her tail that will stop at nothing to ruin her life. Bam is kind to her, she knows that he is her mate, but no matter how hard she tries Bam won't have none of it. Escaping the heartache of being constantly rejected she flees, not knowing that everything has changed for the worst whilst she's thinking her life through, will it be too late when she gets back?

Will they get their HEA? or will that be taken away by fear or by the hands of others?

You also get to see what's happening in the rest of the clans lives with all the happiness and joy they are experiencing.

Coming in the future their extended families get their stories, but what journeys will they have to take to find their true happiness?

I purchased this book

Oh BAM!! You did not disappoint me.....you made me want to kick you in the bear butt but disappoint me NEVER!!

If you are a fan of the series, like me, you have been dying for this book. You have been waiting for our sweet, sensitive bear to find love right?? Well Find love he did and push it away he did too. Bramley is convinced he is not to be loved by a mate. He thinks that since he can't see his intended in the golden auras like he does the other mates, he isn't deserving of one. Friends, the heartbreak and anguish he feels about his Ever...His Everly...can be felt through the pages. I was in full tears in chapter 4 seeing him push away his mate out of his sense of doing the right thing for her. But can I say a mad Bramley is something to behold....lets not get started on an angry Everly either!!!

Everly is over the moon at finding her mate and then destroyed when he pushes her away. She thinks its because of her past that is thrown in his face. She doesn't know the broken male she is intended for. Her past clan come back and cause A LOT of trouble for our couple but the love they have for one another will not be stopped even if Bam and Ever are not in a good place.

The other characters of the story do an amazing job of helping our favorite bear figure love out. Bane being his brother's rock, Avaleigh being the mother he never had, and Maverick being the guy to give him THAT shove he needed when he needed it. But friends, Delilah made my heart!! This woman has come so far and so fast in understanding pack love and acceptance. To see all she does for the family made my heart so happy for Kaid too.

Their are two set ups for future books.....Vince or Riley?? Gosh I am not sure who I want more!!!

The epilogue made my heart so happy. To see the HEA again for all the couples was amazing. I would have loved a few more chapters for Bane but that is just me because he is my favorite in the series!!!

I ask myself what I can say about Bramley and his story. I have such strong feelings for this bear and his fox. He took me on such a journey. He stole my heart to where all I wanted to do was wrap him up in my arms and tell him everything was going to be ok. I went thru all the emotions with him. He is definately a stubborn male for sure. I enjoyed all the interaction with his family as he and Everly found their way to each other. Everly grabbed my affection, and blessing when she protected her mate on her own and saved his life. I felt like I waited forever for Bramley to finally tell his story to Sandra, and I didn't think he was ever going to finish. The wait was well worth it. I loved this story. I hated when I came to the end. I know that we have several more untold stories that we will be looking forward to for sure. Great addition to a wonderful series.

I have been waiting for Bams story and it did not disappoint. Bam has always been a soft soul and to see him hurting in each book because he didn’t have his Ever, it broke my heart. Sandra Neeley did Bam and his story justice. There wasn’t one thing I would change. Not only did he finally get his Ever but he learned so much about himself. I was equally happy to see the other family members and catch up with my favorite shifters. Now I need Riley’s story!

Oh I cried and cried. Which means that yes, I LOVED this book. Bam broke my heart over and over. Everly is freaking phenomenal. The characters are all fabulous (even though I wanted to smack Maia for being a teenager), the writing wonderful and I loved this story-line/plot. This book made me cry, laugh and rejoice. Bam's Ever (Avaleigh's Boys #5) is a great paranormal read. Ever since Book 1, Bam was my favorite character, and I had been waiting for Bam's story ever since. I wasn't disappointed. As expected, it was full of emotion (tissue dabbing emotion), passion, suspense, love, compassion, well you'll understand when you read this story. The language was colorful, as well as, the characters. They were a perfect merger. An odd collection of shifters turned out to be a pack of the most loving and generous souls. If you want a series that pulls at your heartstrings, give Avaleigh's Boys a try. You won't be disappointed. Congratulations Ms. Neeley. Well Done!

I would give it a 10

Out of this world amazing. This wasn’t just a story about Bam and Everly it was a story about family and the love we all need from each other. Every girl in this series saved her man, but the strong men made the women into who they were. So they all saved each other. This is one of the best books I have read this year and I hated to see it end. Can’t wait to see where this goes.

Why 4.?

Loved Bam's and Everly's story but there was not enough interaction between the main characters. The misunderstanding that occurs between Riley and Maia took up a lot of the story and that was just silly to ,e and that is why 4 stars

3 stars rating as this book is about everyone, not specifically Bam and Everly.
You really need to have read the previous books first as the other characters are interweaved throughout.
Read through KU.
I finished this book knowing no more about Bam and his background than I did at the start. There is no defined clarification about Bam, his past, or why he is the way he is.
This book continues on from all the previous books so if you come in cold to this series you will know very little.
Bam is a very special bear shifter and has been a real sweetheart throughout this series. He has certain abilities, cannot call them powers.
Unfortunately, this story was 50% about all the other characters in the clan and 50% him dithering about his supposed mate Everly and him not being able to have a mate as he cannot see the gold.
Now, to give him his due, he has a very simplistic outlook and though he can tell things about the others, he does not have any real-life experiences and is not worldly wise.
He see-saws so much in his she is my mate, she’s not my mate, that Everly actually leaves.
This causes actions to happen that cause Bam to be badly hurt.
I felt sorry for Everly, I liked Everly.
She finally meets her mate, the one who would be able to protect her from the nasty skulk of foxes that are trying to intimidate her.
Instead he hurts her so badly with his denial that she takes off in her fox form.
Realising that Bam is being held and hurt, Everly launches a one woman rescue mission.
Omg, I could not help but roll my eyes.
What a stupid thing Everly did. Yes, she handled it really well on her own and I loved that she didn’t hold back, but why would you NOT get help from his family to save Bam.
This part was just too stupid to be believed. Luckily for her the rest of the skulk didn’t care about those nasty bullies getting sorted out.
Wraps up nicely with everyone all happy, happy and lovey dovey, except for Mai and Riley having problems. Can see Miller turning up in the Riley’s Pride series.
Their story is the one that I first read by this author, causing me to read this series.
Once again, way too many silly errors in this book and the colloquial speech pattern of dropping words was annoying.

This book done pissed me off. Too much manufactured angst and drama. For what? Nothing. I just can’t with this right now. Maia...if I could punch you in the face I would. You’re ridiculous. And thank goodness Bam finally got his head out of his ass or I’m not sure what I’d do. I literally skimmed the majority of this book. I’m sure most people will love it, but it felt extremely emotionally manipulative did no good reason.

It's a Love Hate Thing

Caution: Read all the prior books before reading this one.

Wow and argh.
Amazing character development throughout every story. Nice mixing and matching of the various characters and their loves. Amazing in keeping the story straight and no mixing of pronouns so I always knew who was talking. This also speaks to character development because each character had their own speech pattern that was maintained through each story. I'm looking forward to Riley's and Maia's story and Matty's story.
So I couldn't put the book down but there were some major situations unresolved. This made me sad but fortunately it wasn't until the end of book five. What happened to Eustace and the skulk? If shifter senses are stronger wouldn't they have been able to smell the change in the females when they got pregnant? What happened to the apartment building the guys were working on? With how the shifters carried on why wasn't there a shifter doctor if they did not want to be discovered? I'm also thinking that the hospital would have been located in a fairly large city that serviced the surrounding smaller towns. Passage of time from one event to the next was a bit unclear
Because of how thorough and strong you are at writing I think you may have been able to work all these answers into this series. Maia, Matty's and Riley's story can be covered in the next series.
The angst over misunderstandings took up a bit much of the story but it was an excellent vehicle to keep the story moving.
Thank you for the violent ending of the douche Renegade. Edmond made me made too and I wanted a more violent ending for him as well.
The story could have done without the sex with the exception of Avaleigh and Kaid. I love sex scenes but I have a hard time when there is no growth or character development. So it becomes gratuitous and unnecessary. I don't want to be able to skip over a scene and still be able to follow the story.
So I loved it and was slightly sad that there some really key parts that were not closed with the same thoroughness as to how they were introduced.
Thank you for listening to me babble. : )

I really hate to leave such a low rating but...

I have enjoyed the series so far and I was really looking forward to reading Bams story but the authors way of writing kind of messed it up for me I guess in the past books it hasn't bothered me how she likes to jump from one couples story to the next but Bams story seemed hardly any thing about Bam it was more an extension of Mavericks story. Yes there was a good bit of drama and stuff between Bam and Everly but I don't know I Just didn't care for this one I think what really messed it up for me was Maia and Rileys relationship drama I'm seriously not caring for Maia I've liked just about every character that has come along but she is young and dumb and very Bratty! For instance it all began because Riley went two days with out contacting her *gasp* seriously?! The man has a child he is a single dad and this girl is gonna get all whaaaa!!!!cry my a freaking river because he doesn't speak to her for two days! She hasn't even turned 17 years old yet he is I believe he said 26 so they have some age between them and he vowed to give her time to come into her own before he staked his claim. Which is honorable and everyone was all good with it then but as soon as she gets her feelings ruffled almost the whole family turns on Riley and the man has done nothing but prove his worth to them! It really pissed me off the way they treated Riley because I mean he's done absolutely nothing wrong to get treated the way he was but anyways that's my review take it for what it's worth.

Wonderful and heartwarming, w/some excitement in between!

I loved this book, as I have loved every book in this series! These characters are exactly what love & family should be. I especially love that their family/clan is made up of so many people trying to be accepted for who they are (each having been through harrowing ordeals themselves, which contributed to who they are & how they behave & interact with others), yet they all mesh so well as a family. They are all caring, loving and thoughtful of each other, as well as fiercely protective and loyal to the end. Their bickering with each other is hilarious, and even if they’re pissed off at each other, you know it will all work out. I loved looking back on how far they’ve all come & how big their clan has expanded. (That’s got to be one HUGE dinner table at their main house!! Lol!) I have fallen in love with each of these characters & wish I had friends like these. I think their kind of acceptance of others is what we’re all looking for in life. This series has been a joy to read (even with the evil characters, whose asses I wanted to kick every now & again). I really enjoyed watching the characters’ growth as they learned more about themselves, their mates and their friends. They were all amazing people from the beginning, but became even more amazing as you watched their characters learn & adapt to the people & situations/backstories surrounding them. I greatly enjoyed this series and will be looking for more books by this author!! 😊

This is Bramley { Bam } and Everly ( Ever )'s story . Wow hold on to your Kindle/book because need too !! This one is the story that will touch your heart so much ! As I have read this series in order I just have to say that Bam dang is he a sweetheart !! Ok now onto the review ! Bam is trying to eat his breakfast without having Mav torment him too much lol when his phone goes off and he get upset and just takes off ! Mav being the fixer that he is decides to follow and brings his mate with him just to make sure Bam is going to be ok . When Bam get to town he goes into Joanne's store to keep an eye on Everly's place and when he sees movement he knows what is about to happen and takes off ! Inside Everly is arguing and what Bam hears he just bursts in ! After hearing some things that Ever wishes he hadn't he tells her to go to Joanne's and wait . Well let's just say that you will be reading this one also without wanting to even take a break ! And yes I just have to say I think Delilah ROCKS ! lol This is well written and strongly recommended to all .

I really have to say that o hate how everything went down in this book. Yes, it gave me the closure that I wanted from the last book but there was just so much going on that for me, it took away from Bam and Ever’s Love story. I couldn’t connect with Bam as much I was hoping I would. I didn’t feel that sense of who he was, why he was the way he was, or even a little in-depth backstory to help me understand. I have to say that all this really disappointed me.

I want to love this series so bad because the concept of all the characters was very intriguing but they fell very short for me. Sadly, this was the one I was most looking forward to from the start of the series and I personally disliked it the most. 2 stars because I was able to get answers from the last book that were never resolved but at the same time I get more unfinished questions. I’m struggling now wether to read more of this authors books on the future or not. 2 stars #2OCCJD

I loved Bam. I couldn't wait to get to his story. So I was kind of disappointed when I got to his book and he kept pushing his sweet little mate away. She was so perfect for him and I just wanted him to accept her.

It was satisfying though when they finally did get together.

I do have a bit of a rant though. Throughout the book, I felt a lot of resentment towards the other female's that were brought into the pack. I had a hard time accepting them because I never felt like I had enough of Avaleigh and Daniel. It worked out for them, I loved that they got their child. But I felt like when babies were happening in the pack, nobody noticed Avaleigh's hurt. I felt for her a lot throughout this series. I felt like the girls really stepped on her toes a lot. I don't know, maybe if Avaleigh's book was a little longer and I didn't crave so much more of her and Daniel I would have been more accepting of the other girls in this series.

And they lived happily Ever after

This series even though it is named Aveleigh's "Boys", is about very Strong Girls/Women. (Of course they are strong the little voice in my head says, they are southern women we just let our men believe otherwise) Everly is just the last one to join this clan of misfit shifters, making the clan that much stronger. If you have read the first 4 books you have learned a lot about beautiful and tender souled Bam and in this story through quite the rollercoaster ride of emotions and hurt on both sides we along with Bam, the Clan and even Everly her self find out how strong a woman she can be when her mate is in trouble. This little red Fox is full fire. This is a must read that brings a very warm or maybe should say steamy hot ending for Aveleigh's Boys. I want to start a petition that we need more stories from this Badass Bayou!😁

This whole series is engrossing. I really enjoyed each one; however, I am torn on this one. I was really looking forward to Bam's story. He has been one of my favorite characters throughout the other four. This book however, did not do him justice. Most of the book was about the rest of the clan. While I enjoy hearing about previous characters and how they are doing in was upsetting that their stories overshadowed Bam and his "ever" You hardly got to read about what was supposed to be the Main characters until the end. I am just really disappointed that more thought and care wasn't given to really build Bam's story into something epic. While I look forward to reading more about the other characters such as Riley and Maia I hope they are allowed more of a story than the author gave Bam.

This is a review for all 5 books since I read them all in one week.
I really liked this series. Sandra Neeley is my new favorite author. I have read all of her books one right after the other. What I like is that there is one good sex scene but that is all. I cannot stand when books are just sex! Yes, there is a bit of insta-love because of the whole mates-thing but there is plenty of plot and side characters to keep us interested. The only one in all 5 that did not get 5 stars was Kaid/Deliliah. I didn't care for her - just not a fan favorite for me. Otherwise, I loved every mate and every shifter. I cannot wait for Riley's Pride! And hoping for a spin off for Mattie and the McCullen pack of wolves too!
