Is it easier the second time around? Football is life. My father has been telling me that since I strapped on my first helmet. The sooner I get over this injury, the sooner I can get out of this dead-end town and back to the NFL. But leaving Genevieve was tough enough the first time. That sweet little girl has had me wrapped around her finger since first grade. Now, she’s all woman, with deadly curves and an attitude to boot. Our bodies are drawn together like magnets. Will the NFL have to wait? Unbroken is a 50,000 word stand-alone romance novel with no cliffhangers, no cheating and a beautiful HEA.
A beautiful love/hate relationship. Geni and Silas are meant to be soul mates. They were. Then his fame intervened. A gorgeous little story of boy makes good. Achieves all his dreams but leaves behind the love of his life to do it. Great introduction. Complications that add excellent twists and turns to a great story.

Silas is a quarterback who after a bad injury during a match goes back to his hometown. Genevieve has to take care of her father after her mother died. She had plans for her future but life went in the way and now she is working in a bar. I didn’t like the book at all. It has nothing of interest for me. The characters are difficult to understand: now I’m good, now I’m bad; now I’m being honest, now I’m lying; now I love you, now I hate you. I don’t like lies, and Silas is lying all the time. I don’t like violence and Geni is hitting him all over the book. It took me ages to read the book even though it is not very long and I was about to give up reading it, but I wanted to give it an opportunity to prove me wrong. Sorry to say I was right. A boring book full of nothing. I’m sorry because of the low punctuation but I’m just being honest.
A love/hate relationship between Geni and Silas. They were high school sweethearts before he left to join the NFL. and later won the super bowl. She dropped out of journalism school after her mother's death and returned home and is a waitress. An injury brings him home and they are reunited. Their relationship is stormy to say the least. She is constantly picking fights and he has wandering eyes. After much drama they begin to realize that they are perfect for each other. I thought the ending was a little abrupt, otherwise a good read. I read an advance reader copy and voluntarily chose to write a review.
Simple story of Genevieve and Silas. High school sweethearts. It was an okay read. I wish it was longer to find out what happens after they get back together the second time. Also an epilogue would have been nice to highlight her new job and what happens to her father. I had a hard time getting into the story at the beginning but towards the middle it picks up my interest. At the end I just said to myself.. "Is that it". Like I said it was too short and could have used an epilogue.

Unbroken started off ok and got better. Characters were initially not that likeable, but once they got back together, the story took off. The only thing I disliked was Silas keeping his plans secret and leading Geni on.

A Chance To Make Things Right Geni never got over her first love, Silas St Clair, but he left their hometown and is a successful NFL quarterback for the Pittsburg Steelers. She always wanted to leave but is still working in Billy's bar. When Silas has an injury the last thing she expects is for him to come home to heal. But he does as he's never forgotten her either. Haley Pierce has created this fantastic romantic comedy for us letting us in on so many of their secrets and misunderstandings that tore them apart but can they overcome them or is it too late for a second chance at love and a HEA?? This is a fast paced story that you will not want to put down Silas and Geni are just so suited and obviously belong together and I really enjoyed the journey of their story. Both complex characters that were totally believable and endearing. As it's one of Haley's stories there is bound to be some steamy scenes that you'll need your fans set to max cool and be prepared to laugh out loud. A really witty and sweet story that I'll be wanting to read again. If this is the first story that you've read by her then this will certainly make you a fan too. I encourage you to get yourself a copy and prepare yourself to relax and enjoy. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This was a beautiful love story of second chances that was so well done; it held my attention and was entertaining and humorous at times, but also was heartwarming and emotional. This is a story about Genevieve (Geni) Wilson and Silas St. Clair, who were high school sweethearts, and who get to have a second chance at love. Silas and Geni broke up after high school—then four years later, Silas is a big time NFL football player for the Pittsburgh Steelers (yeah Steelers!—I am partial) and a Heisman trophy winner. During one game, Silas becomes injured and returns to his home town. One person he never thought he would meet upon his return to their home town is Geni, who was the Valedictorian in high school. Why didn’t she leave? Read how their lives have changed and after seeing each other for the first time in four years—what happens next!!! There are several twists and turns within the story that makes it interesting. The story will also pique your interest and draw you in from the beginning to the very end.
Genevieve puts on a brave front for everyone including for the guy that took her heart four years ago and never gave it back , but when Silas comes back into town she cant let her heart decide to trust and get him back or to just let her heart stay cold for the rest of her life. Silas is a hot shot football player and a player in ever since of the word he has women throwing themselves at him left and right but there has always been the one that got away and he will stop at nothing to win her back is he to late only time can tell . Genevieve and Silas feel strongly for one another there is just the rock that is between them that only both of them can move to get to other another . I received this book as an arc for an honest review and I would say that this book is a sweet and loving love story where two soul mates need to let their heart find the other one .
An amazing Second Chance romance. Genevieve and Silas were high school sweet hearts and star crossed lovers. Genevieve lives in a small town where everyone knows everyone’s business including her break up with Silas the man she let go to pursue his dream of playing. Only when he comes home due to an injury she isn’t sure what to do. Silas only loved two things in his life. The first is Genevieve and the second is playing on the field. But she broke up with him so he could follow his dream. Now he has an injury and it’s sending him home to recover. When he sees her after all these years, he will do everything he can to convince her that he still loves her and he wants her. Will they get their HEA? 💋 I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

This is my first read by Haley Pierce and she has a great ability to catch the hearts of her reader by giving life to her characters and make the scenes look like real. This book is a second chance sports romance, it has a bad boy football player and a virgin waitress who struggle between their past and future and try to make things right to reach their destined HEA. I loved the book, this has strong characters and super hot sex scenes.

Unbroken: ,Virgin and Had Boy Second Chance Romance
This wasn't the usual love story with lots of sex! This book was unconditional love story about growing up and trying to be friends, then lovers. All based around personally and dreams for happiness. A football star and small town girl! Can't say to much about this story, because I don't want to ruin the surprise that this story had for you, Passionate and Challenging love story!ENJOY!!
Haley Pierce has a well written story about Geni, a strong woman who is a devoted daughter and Silas St. Clair, an injured NFL player who was her H. S. boy friend, until she cut him loose to achieve his stardom on the field. I had a hard time even liking Silas with his man whoring ways and his lying to Geni. At times, Geni’s naivety and weird attire was a bit much to handle. My only complaint, I felt the end of the story was a bit rushed.
Awesome ! Absolutely love Genevieve and Silas’s story. The storyline was so good it kept me intrigued throughout the entire story. I was so engaged in the tw characters journey that I couldn’t put it down. Twist and turns that kept me wondering what was going to happen next. An amazing love story that left me wanting more.

This is great second chance romance that keeps you turning the pages, to go through the ups, downs, to find out how their story will end. The ending left me feeling a little disappointed but overall the story was good.
This a good example of a second chance love story with an HEA. Geni and Silas never got over what happened in the past, and they are totally different people now.
Lifes curves throw them together again just to find one another. It takes a while but the work out the wrongs.
This is a series book but you do not have to read the other books it is a stand-alone book with no cliffhangers.
Hs sweethearts gen and Silas are perfect but when they graduate gen breaks it off with her perfect boyfriend but when he comes back in town with a foot ball injury is he still in love with her and will he try to win her back.
I enjoyed reading this story, it was fun to read I also found that it was a fast book to get through. This is an Author I have not read before but I will be looking for more books by her.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
A second chance story. Geni and SIlas have a history, and when he decides to hang out in his old hometown while he recuperates, we slowly learn the story of Geni and Silas. One an unhappy person who is down on her luck, and he, the Super Bowl ring wearing bad boy returned.
Silas and Genevieve were high school sweethearts until he went off to play football. Their relationship is somewhat combative. He comes back to their small town after an injury and they still have strong feelings, good and bad. It is an interesting relationship.
I actually enjoyed the writing despite very little to like about the protagonists. But the story completely fell apart in the last few chapters. I won’t say any more since I don’t like to do spoilers
Haley Pierce does it again with Unbroken. I loved this book from the beginning until the end. Haley's writing works well for this story and had me addicted from the first chapter.

Geni is working her shift at Billy’s, miserable and unhappy, tired of getting pinched on the butt by disgusting drunk men. Wearing an oversized flannel shirt and ripped jeans, she’s disgusted with the lousy tips she gets. But she has nowhere else to go.
The bar erupted in cheers as the Steelers brought them all to their feet! One of her customers, seeing how down she looked, figured she didn’t understand football and was about to explain when described the play perfecting in “guy speech” that was totally accurate. Another guy across the table, a football player she had gone to school with explained why she knew so much. Fortunately, he did not tell the man that she was the ex-girlfriend of Silas St Clair, Heisman Trophy winner, Super Bowl sinner, first pick draft for the Steelers. Instead, he just said she was a football groupie at their high school.
But after the touchdown, the guys looked troubled as they noticed that St Clair was not getting up off the ground. He had been tackled after the whistle and appeared to be injured. Geni just walked away.
A week later, Silas St Clair pulled into Billy’s parking lot, eager for a burger and beer in his hometown as he’s heading back to Pittsburgh. He figured Geni had left years ago – she couldn’t wait to get out of this town. But Abby told him to get out as quickly as possible because she was on her way back from the bank. She walked in just as he was leaving. Four years had made a difference; she was all grown up. And they still knew how to push each other’s buttons. Was there a chance for them to see a future together? Or is the pull of the NFL stronger for Silas than what might have been?
This was a really good book! The characters were well developed and gave the reader an assortment of reactions to deal with. The humor helped lighten some of the more serious parts of the story line, and it all came together very well. I do recommend this book. There was just something about it that drew me in. Check it out for yourself and see if you agree!
Genevieve is the girl who couldn't stand her home town. She was the one who would get out as soon as her high school diploma was in her hands. And she did until her mother passed away unexpectedly. She had to come home for her father who would never be the same. She works as a waitress in a bar and has to endure the football games on t.v.. Her opinion of football is all based on her ex from high school, Silas, since he's now the star quarterback for the Steelers. It wouldnt be so bad if he hadnt been the one to break her heart. I got sucked in to this book from the start. Geni is frustrated with her life because she's not doing what is in her heart. She is responsible for her father and he deserves the best. So she is stuck. She is constantly reminded about Silas since the whole town is obsessed with football. When Silas comes back home, shes reminded of all the reasons they broke up. But he's determined to get back into her good graces. Silas is the bad boy who was raised by his single father. He also can't wait to get out of town after high school. He had even made plans for them to leave together. Then Geni breaks up with him and he really can't wait to get away. The reason he comes home is because he feels the need for home after getting hurt on the field. They both have to come to terms with what has happened between them. And they try again. Geni has never gotten over Silas. And he has feelings for her that are unresolved as well. I must admit there are times when I absolutely hate Silas. He's selfish. He wants to get back at Geni for how she broke up with him. And he denies his feelings about being back in town and being with Geni again. Their journey isn't smooth. They have really tough moments and I didn't know how they would work everything out. I felt closest to Geni and felt every emotion that she experienced. Wonderful story and wonderful way to end.
