Holy crow, this book definitely had some twist and turns that I didnt see coming. Through it all I couldn't help but laugh at the wit and humour in this series. There was more angst than the last and had a couple of tear jerker moments which made it an all around good read, especially with the HEA.

Really good ending. I like how Ms. Taylor completed the story with Carmen not being killed and her powers were given back to the witches instead. How the Fae world and the human world are not trying to kill each other. This was the best in the series.

Only an excellent author could have fit so many “moving parts” in a book, and not confuse the reader. But Nicole R. Taylor did it. And she didn’t leave me wondering about what happened to any of the characters, and she answered every question. I will definitely be reading more of Ms. Taylor’s books.

Good book

Good third book in the series, wrapping up the main conflict in an exciting way. I enjoyed reading the series and getting to know the cast of characters. A few editing issues, but overall an enjoyable book.

A welcome visitor from her past returns

Skye has a relative come back to help her in her time of need.
The whole town perseveres and comes together when needed to make things right.
When the door opens, it's not what she expected.

Good Read

This is a good read, a lot of excitement a lot of downed earth concepts behind the wielding of magic. Looking forward to the next read and a few dozen other books by this author.

A decent end to an OK series

As expected, happy ending. I so wishes for a twist in the tale, but as it happened, was a lame ending.

Really great ending to a really great series.

Love the characters, just enough humour, intrigue, drama and suspense.

Would love to read more in this series for sure.

And the series comes to a good ending, after Skye has learnt a lot more about Wolves, Boone, her mother, and community.

But, really, as with all good world building, I want to know more!
