I love this book called “The Greater You” from Dr. Russell Clayton. I give it 5 stars.

I like the author's theme on character…
For example, the author says “True character is attained by building one's consciousness through hard work, practice, and faith”(Clayton 12).
By saying this, he is saying you have to go through challenges and practice traits so you can have a great character.

I agree with the author's perspective on fear…
In contrast, he says “The things that stop most people in life are self doubt and fear. Fear is a dreamkiller and ends more peoples dreams that can ever be counted. Most people in this world die without ever reaching their potential”(Clayton 82).
He implies that people develop fear and learn fear which can scare people to even try new things. If they never try new things then they will never know what they would have been able to be great in.

I agree with the author's view on manifestation.
In addition, he states “Thoughts manifest things and create the conditions that allow your dreams to manifest. You are always manifesting something whether you realize it or not”(Clayton 53).
He is saying that when we think about things and picture it in our head, we are telling the world what our desires are so when we do get it it’s not a surprise.

I feel the same way with the author’s perspective on love.
Furthermore he states “Love is knowing you are more than flesh, because the creator provided you a soul and assigned it to your body”( Clayton 110).
He is applying that you shouldn’t seek for love in someone else because you need to love yourself as how you love God because he will always love us no matter what.

The author talking about the theme of ignorance in a way I agree with.
Therefore he says,” A combination of painful memories, self doubt, poor self respect, anger issues, victim mentality, and anxiety all response aspects of ourselves hold us back”( Clayton 121).
By saying this he is saying many things hold us back in life. Especially things that are not really there and when we can move past all the challenges.
