i really loved this book in the start. it was really good until towards the end. it started going way to fast like pieces were missing. she just got away from her abusing ex. move to a different state to start over. she meets a new guy. who seems ok. until he starts asking questions. you must read this book to find out what happens.
jesus christ THIS IS NOT DOOR SMUT. I read the wrong unhinged. this one is horribly written, horrible in content. TRIGGER WARNINGS: -descriptions of domestic violence -descriptions of verbal abuse -ON PAGE domestic violence -ON PAGE r*pe
It's a short story about love and all kinds of obstacles that can get in the way. It has an interesting enough story line, however I do feel as though with more editing this book could had flowed better. There were times I wasn't sure from whose point of view the writing was coming from or who was talking from lack of quotation marks. It's filled with danger and love, and while I completely understand it there was more of an emphasis on the sex rather than the story. The storyline was great, but it could had been developed more than just fitting in sexy scenes. It was more toward the end of the book where I found myself really diving into the story. With a Villian I hadn't even seen coming I found myself wanting more. I am looking forward to reading more of the series.
This was a very short read. It was in need of formatting and editing. It was really hard to follow the story. Paragraphs of conversations with no clear indication of who is speaking when made you really have to decipher what was going on. The lack of quotation marks through the whole book made it very difficult to figure out if the character actually said something or just thought it to themselves.
The story line seemed to be somewhat intriguing but would have caught my attention more if I didn't have to work so hard to figure out what was going on.
I was given a copy of the book by the author in exchange for a review.
I found this book very VERY fast moving, and in some places, far too fast. I'm all for the instalove thing, but not without the emotion that comes with it.
It also needed some editing. There were a great many speech marks missing, and it made for difficult reading.
BUT BUT BUT if you like fast paced, slightly darker reads, this is for you. It was just a bit too faced paced for me.
