This is a fun book about food. It offers a little bit of historical background on common foods we eat today. The book is not too long and the information is not overwhelming. Our oldest borrowed this book from her elementary school library and read it independently and to her sister before we read it together, so they knew all the answers already and used this book as a quiz to test Mama's knowledge. We really enjoyed reading this book together.
