Hathor's Return

Rate this book
Kristina Bulfer and Josephine Carter are just your average 27-year-old college girls, who recently graduated from Penn State. To celebrate the biggest moment of their lives, why not go on an all-access tour of Egypt? Nothing could possibly happen surrounded by mummies, ancient tombs, and endless amounts of sand, right?

From the moment the girls step foot in Cairo, Jo is plagued with visions of a past life that isn’t her own. Things they never suspected could possibly occur start happening. Kris has a giant hawk stalking her and mysterious markings start forming on her arms, while Jo keeps getting visions of promiscuous gods and ends up being captured by another.

The two must work together to escape the temple and survive the nightmare that has become their lives. Will Kris and Jo be able to stop Hathor’s Return?

First off, I can not wait for book 2! This story follows two young women on a trip to Egypt. But these two are far from normal, they just don’t know it yet. A mysterious necklace appears, two very hot Egyptian men show up, an evil goddess returns hellbent on destroying all human kind. I know, right, sounds amazing, it is.

Zizi and T.M. created a unique and interesting story. Combing myth, history, and adventure Hathor's Return was like Tomb Raider meets The Mummy. If you're looking for something different check this book out, you won't be disappointed.

Hathor's Return (Eye of Ra Series, #1) by T.M. Grinsley was an rich, heart pounding read that had me hooked from the first otherworldly chapter.

I'm going to start with, I highly recommend this book.

Outside of the solid plot and fantastic story line, the characters made this much more then a fancy story. Kristina, I love her, smart, sexy, funny.. we could be friends. She actually surprised me, as they say, don't trust the quite ones.

Josephine, Josephine , Josephine!....... you made this story and man... I love you... I'm not going to say anything else, you're just going to have to read this book to get what I'm saying.

This book was.. I can't even expressed how in love I am with this book. Sure I can tell you all the norms.. how clean the writing was, how the transitions were seamless, or how the POV's switches added so much to the story, that you looked forward to each one.

But want what I'm going to stress is how outstanding this book is, from the plot, to the characters to the mystery and most of all how this story drags you into its world. How you almost become apart of the story. You're like a detective, trying to piece the pieces together to understand what's going on. Only to be mislead, and have your feels ripped out one strand at a time.

Believe me when I say, any theories you make, will be destroyed.

This is a must read!

Happy Reading

First off ladies, when is Book 2 coming out?! Kris and Jo are two best friends who have graduated from Penn State. They take a trip to Egypt where strange things start to happen to them. Add in two hot guys Ari and Malik and you have the makings of a story by T.M. Grinsley and Zizi Cole (new to me) of adventure, suspense, romance, and humor. Loved this book by two authors who wrote a book together that keeps you wanting more. Well done Ladies! Book 2?

I love ancient Egypt and Egyptian myths and Hathor’s Return by T.M. Grinsley was the perfect book! I love all of the Characters but Kris totally spoke to me and those boys are definitely something to drool over!
I kept reading pretty sure I knew what was going to happen next when what I thought was going to happen got smashed to smithereens. Hathor’s Return kept me guessing throughout the entire book. I can’t wait to dive in deeper and see what book two will bring.

Good storyline, but I thought there would have been a little more background on the Egyptian deities. Interested to see what the next book brings.

Wow!! One I will read over again!

Kris and Jo set our for an adventurous nerdfest vacation to Egypt, but Jo starts having strange daydreams before they ever depart. After arriving and stirring up the sand during their tour of the pyramids, the girls bump into two hotties. Things start getting stranger!

A fantastic journey of self discovery, mystery, loyalty, romance, and magic. I am on pins and needles waiting for Book 2! I absolutely recommend this book to anyone who loves Egyptian mythology, magic, and characters that I feel I know.

I love the points of views switch between Jo and Kris allowing the reader the get to know both women on an intimate level.

Kickass amazing!

These two authors blend together seamlessly! I’ve read other books by each of them separately and I even had trouble figure out who wrote what! The characters come to life with witty sarcasm and lots of sexiness! Book 2 needs to come out like now!!!!

T.M. Grinsley and Zizi Cole came together to write a book that has kept me up the last few nights needing to finish it.

This new series has so much potential. It sucks you in with the friendship between Jo and Kris. Then it keeps you involved with the mysterious Egyptian visions and events. The presence of the two male leads, Ari and Malik, help some too. ;)

This book will have some mistakes and errors for those of you who get discouraged from reading a book like that. My advice is to stick with it and you will enjoy this fun Egyptian mythology romance/adventure. Just remember these authors are Indie authors so they are self published and you must give credit for doing their best with the resources they have.

The biggest part I hate, and I hate this part about all series, is you're left hanging at the end. Almost to the point of too much. I understand wanting to be able to have a second book or more from the same set of characters, but I hate having to wait for the next book to come out. Hopefully, the second book is worth the wait! Which no doubt it will be

Holy Great Pyramids!!!

Totally loved this!!! From start to finish, this was filled with attitude, romance, adventure and blasts from an ancient past. Kris is one amazing character! I loved reading her inner dialogue with a certain god. Malik and Kris are one explosive combination! And it totally makes you smile to watch them interact. Jo and Ari are another set that quickly heats up! On pins and needles waiting for book 2!!! I cannot truly express how much I love this..... it was an epic read and for any fan of mummy movies or books, you're going to love this too! You'll squeal, you'll laugh and you'll cheer your way through this book ♡♡♡ These two brilliantly talented authors have created this huge work which will gather fans for years to come ♡♡♡♡
