A one time read

A small book on basic disciplines but the book strays away in the end from the subjecy heading of the book.

Still a very peactical book to uplift your ideas and morale.

Very understandable and note worthy self-help book complacency is a problem for the middle aged people, good wake up call.

Super short book filled with common sense reminders. Most of the ideas in the book are are really nothing new, but good reminders of good habits that often times easily get forgotten.
The author is spot on with examples of how, when and how much when providing rewards. A huge problem across our society - parenting, jobs, schools, our culture in general. His examples of "over and under" rewards made me laugh! So ridiculous, but such things happen!
I like the "crabs in a bucket "analogy" and I also like the "definitions" of prodcutive vs. busy. I learned some new tips and tricks of which I can use while navigating the neverending mess of tyring to parent my son.

Great Book. To the point. Just what my Doctor ordered!

The book was short and to the point. The ideas although were reinforcing common sense notions. We all need to be reminded, from time to time, that our life results are our responsibility. When the student is ready, the teacher will appear. I was ready.

Good initial guide

Great advice to get started to a more disciplined life. Most of the stuff is common sense but author gives a chronological order to follow, if someone doesn’t feel that they have a control over their lives.

Downloadable PDF guides to follow along, makes this book more than informational.
Easy to follow on audio versions with text version. It is worth the purchase, and definitely worth the read if you are looking to boost your own locus of control.
