This is a dark and violent tale of one man's descent into madness. The protagonist Chance keeps "body-hopping" into victims of horrible torture and murder: This is definitely not recommended for the squeamish or the faint of heart, as some scenes are told in horrific detail. Luckily, most of the disturbing torture and murder takes place in the first couple of chapters, after which the narrative settles into the bizarre and confused state of Chance, the main character. Is he schizophrenic, hopelessly delusional, batshit crazy? We are never really certain, and nether is he. Certainly Evil with a capital E is a major factor here, but which side is Chance on? At times philosophical, and spiritual, this story is also surreal and disturbing. Just like the main character Chance, we the reader are constantly wondering IS THIS REAL? What is reality, anyway?
I will definitely read this author again.

Can you rate a book zero stars? I've read some positive reviews of this work and I just don't see it. The book felt like a hot mess the entire way through with the author coming up with new ideas throughout and just throwing them in. It made no sense, the dialogue was weak, the characters weaker, I didn't even care about the main character in this book much less any of the other characters who were at best, shallow. To make matters worse the author used NYC as the backdrop and the author clearly didn't bother to do any research on it. Nowadays it would take what, 10 minutes to figure out some basics like what areas you would pass driving from Princeton to the Bronx? Truly, this is the laziest sort of writing. I got the digital copy of this book for free from Amazon Prime and frankly, I still felt like I overpaid. The author has other works but I just can't even attempt to see if they are any better right now after reading this mess.

What a head rush!
This was a great story. Fast, crazy and initially hard to follow the narrative evolved into one of the most engaging science fiction stories I've ever read. Talk about intense-- I mean, wow! The main character, Chance, is a mental patient. At first I didn't know whether I should feel sorry for him or doubt his reliability in reporting the action. His understanding over the arc of the story becomes the reader's understanding. Thanks to the author's skill, I now know what it feels like to be psychic, telekinetic and schizophrenic. All in all, a great read.

The main character is Chance. He wakes up in a mental hospital with no memory. Yet he has "dreams" or "visions" of women being murdered,,, as if he is inside the women as they are being murdered.. He also sees the murderers - there are 3 of them - thus the name Trinity.
The books is about psychic experiences and fantasy happenings. Therefore if you are a person who likes reality - this would not be the book for you
Since I do not need reality to enjoy a book - I really enjoyed it :)

Waste of time.
Originality none, great characters no. I really love psychological thrillers, especially when centering around a mental hospital,the imagination can go anywhere.Unfortunately,this is not original in anyway.It began with promise,but quickly ran off the rails. Boring,ridiculous and a true waste of time.

Chance Ripley can't recall anything about his past, but dreams about women in the act of being murdered. Another wow! Definitely recommend this book.
Fast paced. Wonderful characters. Kept me up reading into the early hours. The concept of psychic powers being used this way could make it hard to sleep at night. Thoroughly enjoyed this book. Very thought provoking.

Good read!
This isn't my normal genre, but I gave it a shot. And I'm glad I did! At first I was a little lost, but once it came together i couldn't put it down!

Blindness of lead character
It took too long for the main character to find a sidekick. Everything happens up until the last few pages and bam book over.

Disjointed plot.
It appears the author wanted to deliver a great story but the plot sequences were a mish mash of dangling scenarios .

Fascinating thriller through the labyrinth of the mind.
That was a fun ride for the reader, though not so much for the characters. Very interesting thriller from start to finish.
