When feisty meets dominant, fireworks are sure to ensue...
Cassidy Jensen has known true love.
With a wild heart and a fierce spirit she lives life passionately, determined to embrace all it has to offer.
After a crushing loss she fights to regain her sense of self, attempting to rediscover the happiness that she knows can exist. However, one bad experience after another has Cassidy questioning whether lightning can strike twice.
Enter Mason Alexander. He is everything she doesn't want. Guarded, aloof and a workaholic; the only emotion he ignites in her is frustration.
When Mason and Cassidy are thrown together and forced to work with each other, they must learn to navigate their new relationship. Along the way proving that sometimes what you want isn't always what you need.
USA Today Bestselling author, Amali Rose is a former blogger from Australia, who released her debut novella in 2017.
A self confessed bookworm, her love affair with the written word began as a child, with The Magic Faraway Tree. Her tastes have grown and evolved over the years and, after stumbling into the indie community a few years ago, she discovered her passion for romance with a side of smut.
When not reading or writing, Amali enjoys baking, yoga, cheesy pop music, netflix marathons, and she believes strongly that pink, puppies and chocolate make the world a better place!
Cassidy and Mason, or Crazy and Sunshine for the close ones, were incredible together!!
This is a standalone, but it's also a part of Fleurs D'Amour series, so if you want, you'll enjoy the story better if you've read Under The Cherry Blossoms first (Skye and Ben's story).
Cassidy and Mason are complete opposites at first, they drive each other crazy, torment one another and, even though they claim they cant stand the other, they start to realise as times goes by that they have more in common than expected!
They are loyal, hard workers, a little crazy (especially Cassidy, and you just can looove her craziness), the love intensely, but they don't know what to do about it.
Mason has been a workaholic for so long that it's just now learning how to be in a relationship, and Cassidy, having met love and suffered before, is affraid to get hurt again.
It was refreshing to read, it was so sexy and funny and again I loved the characters and the epilogue. I just think Cassidy took a lot of time to grow up and stop being sttuborn. I mean, I know it was a bad thing that happened, but considering what Skye had faced with Ben at the end of the Under The Cherry Blossoms, she was the one with a whole lot more reasons to be mad, and they worked out beautifully.
But I still want more from them, more from this author, more from these characters! I want them all!
Fresh, new, exciting. I am so loving the Fleurs d'Amour series. Each book has heroes that you could love or hate and heroines that are both sweet and sassy.
Cassidy was a spitfire. I couldn't wait to see what would come out of her mouth next. She knew what she wanted … went after it … suffered consequences later. She was fun, exciting, sweet, sexy and brash. She also had a tender side that not too many people saw but knew it was there. When she loved, she loved hard and was a loyal and trusting as any woman would want. She wanted Mason but knew office romances could lead to real trouble. She didn't so much as care about herself but didn't want trouble for him. So, she flirted, aggravated, played tricks on him but didn't touch … until the copier broke.
Mason was amazed at what he put up with from his assistant. But she was sunshine in a dark, gloomy world that he was starting to wonder if he really wanted to be part of. 18 hour days, 7 days a week and he wasn't happy. But, he couldn't wait to see her strut into the office, all sass and cheeky. He had no time for a relationship but desperately wanted to make time for her. Until the copier broke and he said the most stupid thing in his life. Now, it's game on from his assistant and all bets are off.
Both Mason and Cassidy are wearing their pasts like badges. One harboring a loss and and unable or unwilling to let it go. The other swearing to make up for a depressing past. Both have sworn off love afraid of what it will bring. But, with the help of two very good friends, love finds it's way back to both of them.
Cassidy was a hoot throughout the story. And, the things she did to Mason were hysterical. But, Mason took it in stride. She was his Crazy and he was her Sunshine. Together that made such a special pair. Her keeping him on his toes and him doing whatever it takes to make her dreams come true. They both had me totally believing in opposites attracting and in true love. And, the epilogue … loved, loved, loved it!
I loved how this story flowed and kept me entertained. Amali Rose has a knack of bringing a story together and making all the pieces fall into place. Interesting characters that will bring a huge smile to your face and make your heart burst with love.
Received an ARC at no cost to author..This is the second book in the series and I also enjoyed this one. This is Mason who is Ben's best friend from first book and Skye's best friend Cassidy. Cassidy had lost the love of her life when she was still a teenager, and even though she was this crazy go lucky and seemed to always enjoy her life she was still mourning his love. This girl is crazy, and she enjoys life but she can not have a relationship with anyone that isn't just physical until she meets Mason. Mason, you had to love him especially from the book, all he does is work until he meets Cassidy and then they decide that they want more, until he does something that he shouldn't and gave Cassidy an excuse to break up with him because she was still scared. Both of their friends intervene but it was 6 months, 6 before they corrected everything, I kind of wish that it was sooner but hey it is what it is..Loved seeing previous characters and can't wait til the next one

Cassidy is a spitfire. She tells it like it is but has a softer side she’s afraid to show. She doesn’t do vulnerable well at all. She suffered a loss in college and that has followed her into her adult life and affected many decisions along the way. She is always losing jobs left and right but dreams of owning a bakery keep her going. It’s when the job of assistant to Mason that she thinks she may have met her match.
Mason is 29 and a CEO which is a job that didn’t come with great sacrifice. He works to take care of his mom despite her insistence she can do it alone. He has no social life and is basically an arrogant jerk. He doesn’t want to drag someone down into his bleak life until a certain pink haired firecracker enters his office. He embarks on a crazy journey with Cassidy and it’s not all fun and games.
We met Cassidy in Under the Cherry Blossoms and we got just a small glimpse of how brash and bold she can be. The mouth on this girl would make a sailor blush. I like Mason despite his jerky alpha male attitude. This book in Amalis signature style balances heart with good sexy times. It’s also a lot of story packed into a quick read but that makes it much more fun. I would totally suggest these books to everyone!
I Voluntarily Reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book!
To say I was in sweet agony over the anticipation of this book, is putting it mildly. I love how Amali can write heated scenes that make you all hot and bothered and then write emotional scenes that have you tearing up. She really has a gift and her craft is brightening and blooming in her sweet pages.
Cassidy wasa spitfire and a complete badass. She has a take no shi* attitude and will have you blushing just from reading her words. She hates to be vulnerable and does her best to only get close enough to men to get her rocks off. Losing someone so close to her, she put a wall up and its hard to break that barrier. Until Mason.
Mason is your typical workaholic. With the exception that he is hot and sexy and everything in between. But him working so much, he hardly has a life outside the office. Finding an assistant has became a pain and not to mention the temporary one he has it a freak show. Having been offer Skye's "crazy" friend as a filler has him hesitating. But only for a moment because he is desperate. Seeing Cassidy for the first time and late for that matter, is a different experience in itself. However, these two are going to end up contradicting themselves and their wants. These two are going to put fire in her spitfire by the time you finish this beautiful gem.
Mason and Cass’ story blew me away! I adore everything about Cass and that personality she has, she’s so genuine and so natural that you can’t help but laugh at her antics and views on life. Mason is absolutely to die for. This man is tough and a workaholic yet soft and caring all at once. The sexual tension between these two had me turning the page dying to know will they of won’t they, there’s a friendship being built are they going to cross that line? Loved every single second. Beautifully written and relatable. Cannot wait to see what’s to come in the future. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.
Ahh, Crazy and Sunshine. Where do I even start with the amount of feels this book gave me. Cassidy, aka Crazy, is one of the most energetic, outspoken, hilarious book characters I've EVER had the pleasure of reading. I just loved the fact she spoke her mind and her no f**ks given attitude was refreshing. Yet she is still haunted by her past that brings out her softer side every now and again. Mason, aka Sunshine, works himself into the ground, working ridiculous hours in a job that no longer satisfies him. When Crazy and Sunshine begin working together, sparks fly and love blossoms. Until a work incident that causes Cassidy to pull away from Mason. This story is truly captivating and will stay with me for a long time.
I read the first book in the A Fleurs D'amour series and we got to meet Cassidy and Mason in that book. In this book it their shot of HEA or will it be?
I liked Cassidy and Mason in book one. Cassidy was crazy and Mason was a workaholic. I didn't know how these two were going to work. Cassidy was still in mourning over her teenage love who died. She afraid to risk her heart again. Mason all he does is work and doesn't have time for relationships. When Cassidy and Mason are forced to work together things start to change between them. Cassidy is a little more open and Mason feels like maybe work can hold off a little. What happens when a mistake is made? Can these two hang on or will it be all over?
I love Amali's writing style, her storylines and how she able capture your attention all the way to the end.
I started off reading Dandelion dreams thinking dear god Im going to have to bring the tissues...4% in and I was kinda freaking out as I don't do hearts and flowers. What a shock I was in for, I haven’t laughed so hard at a book ever. So yes I did need the tissues but it was for the haha moments....there may have been a few snorts in there along the way.
Amali Rose tells the story of Mason and Cassidy not only a beautiful way but with a crazy amount of humour and one liners. Her writing just flows in a very natural way making it a pleasure to read. Cassidy is the girl everyone wants as a best friend - crazy, loyal but funny as hell. Mason is the tall handsome, powerful dude who despite his tough persona is actually deep down romantic and loves hard!
Cassidy is not new to the love scene. She's had her share of hurt. When she tries to get back in to her groove all kinds of things happen. That's until she meets Mason. They are challenged to work together. But will that be a good idea?
Dandelion Dreams is a Fleurs DAmour Novella and I love this one so much. Amali did a great job with these characters I want Cassidy as my new BFF, she’s is my new favourite girl crush, she says what she thinks (oh how she says what she thinks 😂) has a tonne of fun but there is also a vulnerability to her too. (I would love to have a girls night out with her!)
You guys are in for a real treat, Mason is the complete package, he’s hot, a little uptight (boy does Cassidy have some fun with that) but he’s the perfect calm to her crazy. For these two the road is definitely not straight forward and there will be emotional points that will have your heart aching and there will also be some laugh out loud moments too. What started out as enemies morphs into something short of perfection. Recommended Read it’s Fun, Feisty & Flawless.
Amali ties this all together so perfectly you will swoon. 💕
I absolutely love this book!!! I don't want to give too much away but I can tell you that Cassidy is absolutely my favourite female lead so far this year. She has such an amazing personality and you can't help but love her and her antics. Mason is a workaholic but is this soft side that you can't help but fall in love with. The sexual tension between these two is off the charts and it insured that I couldn't help but just keep turning the pages to see what was going to happen next. This is definitely a book that I will be picking up to read again, the story and the emotion is one that calls to me. It was also great to see Sky and Ben and I look forward to seeing what Amali will be coming up with next. This is my honest and unbiased review.
Book 2 in the A Fleurs d'amour Novella series, this is a new to me author, and I thought she did a great job of making this book work as a standalone. I didn't feel like I was missing out by not having read book 1, though it's definitely on my TBR now as I've already 1-clicked it. 😀
The story really hooked me right from the start wth that prologue--plus enemies to lovers and boss-employee relationships are two of my favorite tropes--but it was Cassidy who really made the book: she is simply a fabulous character, and I loved her snarky attitude. She had me laughing time and time again with all her antics, and the dialogue between Cassidy and the other characters had me rolling. I loved Mason, too; he was the perfect match for Cassidy and I loved watching the two of them together. Lots of great secondary characters as well--the little glimpses of Tanya had me adoring her, and I'm looking forward to all the details on Skye and Ben in book 1.
It really surprised me that this was only the author's second book, as I found it to be extremely well-written; better in fact than a lot of books I've read by much more experienced authors. The ending did feel a little abrupt to me on my first read-through, but the second time through (yes, I got sucked into doing a re-read when I was looking over my notes for this review, always the mark of a great read for me) it seemed to work a lot better, so it might have just been a state of mind thing the first time around. And I loved the epilogue both times! ❤️
A fast, fun and fabulous read, and an author I'll be watching for in the future. 5 fab stars
Dandelion Dreams had me laughing out loud more than once while reading it. I loved the banter between Cassidy aka Crazy and Mason aka Sunshine. These two loved to push each other’s buttons in almost a weird foreplay that just builds and builds until it explodes.
Cassidy is a smart ass, she has no filter and isn’t afraid to be her loud crass self. I loved the way these two were together. When Mason would call Cassidy Crazy it wasn’t to be mean it was his pet name for her and it totally fit. Mason was an overworked cranky asshole at times but once you understand why he is working so hard your heart melts and you can see the guy who really is amazing. I loved the references from one of my favorite all time movies, Sweet Home Alabama, and ironically enough I was watching the movie at the same time I was reading Dandelion Dreams, I like to have back ground noise while reading and I think it made me love the book even more. I haven’t read the previous book but I am going to as soon as I am able because I have a feeling that this author is going to become one of my go to authors if she keeps writing the way she is.
Dandelion Dreams was a much-needed laugh and escape during a really bad couple of days, now I can’t wait for spring to come so that I pick some dandelions and make wishes, although my husband may not be thrilled but oh well he wouldn’t understand. Make sure you have this on your TBR lists, you won’t be disappointed.
An enemies to lovers office romance full of smoking hot chemistry, shenanigans and laughter and love.
Cassidy is fun, loud, un-filtered a little bit crazy. She flits from job to job whenever the mood strikes. She’s working to save for her dream; opening her own bakery.
Mason is successful, motivated and totally wrapped up in his job. He’s so driven he’s lost focus and forgot what it’s like to be happy.
Cassidy was just fired and Mason needs a new admin. These two are brought together by mutuall bff’s. At first it’s like oil and water. Cassidy goes out of her way to drive Mason crazy and it’s hilarious. But soon the tension turns sexual and these two can’t stay away.
Everyone needs a Cassidy in their life. She makes everything go from dull and dismal to bright and fun! But she’s got her own demons from the past holding her back. And Mason is too busy working himself to death because he’s always striving to be enough. These two struggle to find themselves because you can’t be happy until you’ve carved your path to your dream. But maybe the dream needs to change?
I love this author’s writing. Another great story. You have to let go in order to move forward. And sometimes when you think the last thing you need is a certain someone, turns out to be exactly what you need.
Dandelion Dreams is the second of A Fleurs d'amour series. It can be read as a standalone but you get so much more if you've read the first.
Here we meet Cassidy, who is a complete spitfire, says and does what she wants kind of girl. She is one who would kick butt if needed one second or give you a laugh or a hug the next. She hides her softer side but I love when she exposes it. Mason is the opposite, always serious but there when you need him. He too has a soft side that he hides. They manage to sneak past each other's walls and the fun begins before that even happens.
I love the dynamic between the two of them. Even though they can drive each other crazy they mesh in their own way, getting each other.
There are a lot of good laughs, thanks to the banter between the two, as well as building tension leading to some sexy scenes.
Amali does a great job of providing moments of laughter and tears, smoothly transitioning between each. I find it hard not to get sucked in with these characters and stories. I'm really excited to see what she comes up with next.
What can I say? Another great read from Amali Rose! These characters are not like your usual, and that’s what I love about them.
We first met Cassidy as Skye’s outspoken best friend in Under the Cherry Blossoms, and now we get to read her story 😊
I absolutely loved Cassidy’s crass nature in the first book, and she certainly doesn’t disappoint in this one! We get to see a little bit of backstory on her, giving a glimpse to her softer side, as well as all the crazy antics you’d expect, and out-there statements that come flying out of her mouth. That girl has sass, and a lot of it!
Mason Alexander is Ben’s best friend. He’s a CEO and a good one at that. He’s a workaholic with no time for a social life. So when Cassidy bounces into his life, he’s thrown for a loop. She’s frustrating and a distraction. A sexy distraction that he can’t stop thinking about.
There are some real laugh out loud moments, some swoonworthy moments, and some “throw your kindle across the room” moments. Everything I like in a book 😉
Amali Rose managed to get my heart to skip a beat or three in the 1st book of this series Under the Cherry Blossoms. In Dandelion Dreams she gives one of our favorite side characters her own story. Although listed as book #2 in the Fleurs d’armour series, it is a stand-alone story.
Mason is a driven young CEO of a firm currently in need of a secretary, and Cassidy has quite a different office personality than he is used to. Amali Rose presents these two characters who although doing well in their lives are dealing with their own internal conflicts of honoring memories or trying to live a life for others instead of a life they want.
Cassidy is loud, rambunctious and outgoing, with a past that’s made her wary of the idea of love. Early on we learn her heart is broken tragically and for her, truly opening up has been impossible, until she begins working for Mason.
Mason faces the challenge in finding time for a relationship while being a CEO. He also wants to prove to, what he considers, a stubborn mother he can take care of her while she wants him to take care of himself.
The chemistry between these two characters is all sparks and that’s before any of the scenes that make you sweat a bit. Amali Rose has a way of striking such a great balance between romance, drama, laughter and heartbreak, as many times as I found myself laughing at Cassidy’s expletives, of which there’s no shortage, I found myself taken aback by how much fear she has to open up again.
I love this book so much! I was hooked from the first page. I really love the two main characters Mason (Sunshine) and Cassidy (Crazy) and they are amazing together. I love Cassidy because she's so strong and feisty! I want Crazy in my life! Mason's totally handsome. This book is hilarious, hot and heartwarming. This is the kind of book you have to read in a raining day, or a snowing day, or a sunshine day, or every day! My heart was broken in the Prologue and was melted in the Epilogue. This was my first Amali Rose's book and it won't be the last. I have a crush with her writing. I haven't read the first book in this Series, but I will. This book is a gem! I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book and I'm so grateful to receive it! #teamCrazyandSunshine
Amali Rose has written a fantastic book once again. This story is an office romance and is hotter than hot. I have fallen in love with Cassidy Jenson and Mason Alexander, their characters will make you laugh, feel the love they have for each other, and wish you were part of their world. I was sucked into this storyline on page one and couldn't put it down even if I wanted to. The way they were with each other was phenomenal, it was like looking at real people. Sounds crazy, right?
I was saddened that Cassidy lost her college sweetheart. I loved the way Cassidy could put Mason in his place and get away with it. I adored the relationship they built with each other, even though she had bad memories and he thought he wasn't worthy. Stella, a lawyer that Mason works with tries coming between them. Even though Mason is a workaholic he is always finding time for Cassidy.
This is the second book I have read from Amali Rose, I look forward to reading more. I will definitely be recommending Dandelion Dreams.
Wow just Wow! I just thought I loved book 1. But Cassidy and Mason (aka Crazy and Sunshine) proved me wrong. I was addicted from the very first word. Cassidy and Mason have nothing in common or they thought. The more time that go by the more they learn they have in common. I couldn't help but love Cassidy's crazy. I may or may not have a girl crush on Cassidy. Mason is a workaholic at the finest. Ben is just learning about relationships and Cassidy has met love and suffered before and is afraid of getting hurt again. I honestly loved Mason and Cassidy!! Amalia has found herself a new fan for sure, I love how she can write heated scenes that make you all hot and bothered and then write emotional scenes that have you tearing up. These was my first books by her and I honestly cannot wait to read more. I still stand by my previous statement there should be a option to give more then 5*. This is a must read, go get your copy now...
What a great job Amali has done with this book. I love the characters Cassidy lives upto her nickname Crazy. She is as crazy as they come. Her wit and banter with everyone was great, i love her nicknames she has for people. I laughed most of the way through this. She is just so much fun and loves practical jokes. Mason is a strong businessman who has took on more than he can chew as CEO, but he has his reasons. He likes cassies craziness but is unsure what she will do next so a little scared I think. The story was lovely and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I was sad then it ended. The connection between the characters is amazing and cassie is definitely 1 on her own. With a kind heart and full on mad.
I really enjoyed the first book in this series. However, this one was even better. You can really see the author grow and mature in her craft. If you're looking for a coy quite heroine you're in the wrong place. The characters are amazingly down to earth. The romance will give you the feels..but there's lots of steamy action too.
Ahhh I am just loving these books! I loved the enemies to lovers storyline this time round and I love how sassy Cassidy is! I loved the appearance of Ben and Skye throughout the book as well! Such a fun, sweet and sexy book and I cannot wait for book 3!
This story is a amazing read that has amazing chemistry between the the love found throughout this story. This story will have you hooked and loving this story from the very first page tell the ending.
I was lucky to be able to read the ARC of this book.. I loved every bit of it. I don't want to give.to much away but I say you well want to read it when it comes out.. I loved Mason and Cassidy story.. I can't wait to see what you come up with next Amali💕💕💕
** Provided on behalf of the author for an honest review ** ** Review by Gayle from Bloggers From Down Under **
Dandelion Dreams is a Fleurs DAmour Novella and damn guys what a novella. We meet both Cassidy and Mason in this well written, light-hearted, deliciously naughty novella and for me it was instant love.
Cassidy has a tragic past, which unfortunately has carried into her present. Her walls are erected, never allowing anyone, and I mean anyone in. She has her besties in Skye and Wyatt, and her sister Lay, her to go girls, but that's it. Cassidy is a no go zone.
But that is until she gets fired. Yes people she gets fired. Desperate for a job, her bestie Skye pulls in a favor. There is a job opening that Cassidy cannot refuse, because hey, after-all bills need to be paid.
So Cassidy becomes an assistant to none other than Mason. And boy is he all things delicious. So what happens when our very own smart, sassy, confident and foul mouthed Cassidy has to work with an over worked, sinfully sculptured, broody and dominant Mason.... You get one explosive read!!
Guys you cannot look past this novella. It's sheer brilliance. A mixture of all things sinfully naughty, fun, light and heartwarming, Dandelion Dreams is a beauty of a read. But be warned.....
Cassidy is all things freaking crazy with no filter what-so-ever and you will fall in love with her in an instant. And Mason, well lets just say he's very lickable.....Oops I mean likable!! Together....They are all things beautifully perfect.
Dandelion Dreams by Amali Rose was a smart-ass, grab you by the seat of your pants and hang on for the ride, thrilling, quirky romance. I loved her main character Crazy, aka Cassidy. Her life is crazy, she is loud, brass, crass and just totally obnoxious at times but is exactly what Mason needs to pull him away from his workaholic, uptight ways. Neither of them is doing what their hearts desire as far as career paths go but it takes meet each other for that realization to finally sink in and them having each other to finally take that final plunge to make changes. Mason comes across as a jerk in the beginning but is a total softie underneath. I've never read Amali Rose before but I'm definitely adding her to fav author pile. She has wonderful wit, a great sense of humor and I love her swear words and made up name calling words LOL. This book put me in a great mood reading it. I was calling everyone all these random words for the rest of the day, it was wonderful!! :D She definitely added to my vocabulary, which I loved! I love a book that can make me laugh out loud! I was given an ARC for my honest review!
