This book was full of information and covers everything one needs to know about lawn care and maintenance. As a homeowner, it's really a must have, as it will walk you through how to select the best grass for your area and prepping the grounds for seeding. If you have an existing lawn, it helps you identify what you have and teaches you how to care for it. The author does a great job of covering common problems and how to fix them as well. Truly, this is a wonderful book for a new homeowner or someone who is struggling with their lawn.

I think the author and I have different philosophies on lawns...or maybe I'm just not a geek ;) I got a lot of good information on the basics from someone who I believe to be very passionate and knowledgeable on the subject. I did a lot of skimming over information that would only be helpful if I was having that particular issue.

Didn't finish. Much better as a reference book, not as a sit down and read.
