It's a charming piece of erotic fluff, full of decadent aristos and their hedonistic bohemian hangers-on convened for a rather secular-minded Christmas season, with naïve Jessica thrown into the mix. Her prudish but susceptible personality makes for a fun journey of erotic awakening, though towards the end her romantic indecisiveness and poor decision-making start to wear out the reader's nerves, despite all the fun she gets up to. Still, the kinky shenanigans linger in the imagination, such as the flapper who gives an exotic dance that flashes her charmingly anachronistic nipple rings (they ARE a forward-thinking group though!), along with a nighttime delivery of a fruitcake snack that leads to a lesbian awakening. A fun read!
