What another great read by Rye Hart!
Rhett and Chanel go to their 10 year hs reunion and bring along some friends. They both still love each other but because of something that happened on prom night Chanel stopped talking to Rhett. Now 10 years later they still have off the chart chemistry but have to sort out their differences to get to their HEA. This book has it all humor, betrayal, stalkers, and most of all steamy romance. If you like second chance HEAs this is your next read!!

Awesome story by Rye. Chanel and Rhett were very relatable of what happens when you love some and it’s hard to forget the past and start over. Chanel and Rhett saw each other again in a ten year high school reunion trip. She was a writer and a blogger and he’s a retired Navy SEAL. Realizing and feeling it wasn’t over Rhett gave it his all and fought for her more than he ever not giving up after twists and turns and drama got in the way..

Rhett needed to work a little harder for that second chance, especially if she was "it" for him. Good steam and the pace was also good, but Chanel deserved to have him give more effort put into to getting her back.

Loved it

Rhett broke Chanel's heart on prom night when he cheated on her. They never spoke again, and she never got over it. Rhett loved Chanel, but never thought he was good enough for her. He doesn't know what happened prom night, all he he remembers is breaking her heart, and left for the Navy after graduation.
10 years later they meet again on a high school reunion cruise. Both looking for closure and finding they never stopped thinking about each other. Their attraction as strong as ever.
Great story. Fast paced and steamy. Loved Rhett. He worked hard to make thing right. Chanel should have been in therapy years ago. I really didn't like her through most of the book. She grew up in the end. Ana and Tommy where the most juvenile, obnoxious, annoying best friends. There heart were in the right place. They were true friends to Chanel and Rhett. I

Love On The High Sea

Rhett and Chanel were high school sweethearts till he broke her heart on prom night. The next day he left to join the Navy but never forgot about her.  Meanwhile Chanel carried on as best as she could although he still held her heart - however broken it was when he cheated on her as she was lead to believe.  It's a ten year class reunion but Rhett has done very well for himself and is now very wealthy so pays for the reunion to be on a cruise ship.  he conveniently has the cabin right next to Chanel. They agree to take part in an auction and have abet between them as to who will get the bigger bid.  I loved Rhett from the beginning but Chanel took a while to get used to her as she seemed so emotionally immature.   He wants to do anything he can to make things right between them as he loves her and the more time he spends with her the deeper his love grows.  This story is a whirlwind of emotions from heartbreak at the beginning to hope, to lust, to suspense as there is a stalker aboard, to passion, to hopefully ever lasting love.  Their best friends Anna and Tommy were interesting characters to say the least and I found them very irritating but their hearts were in the right place.  The bonus story involves stepbrother and stepsister and is very steamy.  Rhett and Chanel in any room causes the air to sizzle as the chemistry between them is so HOT so be prepared to 'experience' passionate encounters between the two of them. I loved this story and the bonus book and look forward to rye's next romantic adventure.  Beautifully written by Rye Hart with great character development, some great misunderstandings to be rectified, suspense and the agony of passion not acted upon.  I received a free copy of this book and leave my honest review of it here.  I encourage you to grab a copy of this yourself and enjoy the romantic adventures.

I volunteered to review an advance reader copy of this book. Wel 1st, I recieved a book called 'Take me' and by the time I review it, it's changed to 'One More Time' a little confusing, making me search my reader to see if I missed that one, LOL.

On their 10th anniversary of High School class reunion, they got invated on a cruiseship sailing in to the Carribean ocean. There will be lot of things to do, even an Auction for their friend Jeff Banks, to pay the medical bills he has.
Chanel and he bf Ana + Rhett and Tommy, are embarking and surprised cause the are neightbor on the cruise. Old flames elited, the connection are still strong after 10y appart. Chanel went with her bf to put things in the past, to get answer and a closure. Both have never forgotten about the other or gotten over each other.
I laugh when their friends Ana & Tommy kept trying to deny what they feel for one another. Those 2 having some things in common, like playing the field, one nighters and all. It also felt nice to see the protective side of Rhett with Chanel, how he was more than willing to take the blame about their brake up 10yrs ago. he felt he deserve a bad threatment from Chanel about he cheating on het the particularly night, even if he didn't do anything wrong, he still felt guilty. They never forgotten about the other or gotten over each other.

Still that strongpull between/around them. Suspens, sex & hot scenes, black mailing from an obsessed classmate & his stalking & almost raping Chanel, danger & heartache & prossessing everything, every passing details. Great story and well written, emotional rollersoaster.

Thank you Rye Hart for this great opportunity to read this wonderfull book. Hope to read more of you, cause it always is a pleasure & certain it would be a WOW book, like always.

When I’m laughing out loud on page one, I know I’m in for a fun ride. This outrageous story definitely pulls that off in spades. What a hoot. I alternated between laughing and sighing as Rhett and Chanel along with their besties, Tommy and Ana take a cruise for their 10-year high school reunion.

This cruise was definitely not going to be featured on “The Love Boat.” Rhett and Chanel had been serious about each other in high school—right up until the point that he boinked some stranger in the limo during prom while Chanel was in the bathroom. That kind of killed their entire relationship and put both their lives on different and independent paths. She advanced her writing career. He joined the navy SEALS.

As you can imagine, all the characters from your high school reunion are present on this cruise with varying forms of humor and/or obnoxiousness. Rhett’s wingman, Tommy and Chanel’s best friend, Ana are total riots throughout the story. As much fun as the characters are, the plot has a serious side, with plenty of angst as Rhett and Chanel deal with their past baggage and try to move on with their lives. The plot takes additional twists and turns to add to the fun/chaos/anguish of it all.

Second chance romances are truly one of my favorites, because I love the concept of grace and forgiveness—even when it’s tough. I also love to see growth in characters. This story does not disappoint in both of these areas, and being along for the ride is a beautiful thing. This is definitely a story for adults: the language and love scenes are unquestionably mature, feisty, passionate and fun. You’ve been warned. ;p

A great great read by Rye Hart about a retired SEAL, Rhett, who goes on a cruise for his 10 year h.s. reunion. His h.s. sweetheart, Chanel, will also be there and hopefully they can put the past behind them. He betrayed her on their prom night and even after all these years, that night still haunts Chanel in her relationships, not trusting anyone and never getting close to one man. But there is more to that night than either of them knew and now may be the time they finally get answers to their past and hopefully a future with each other.
A great read with steamy scenes, some suspense, betrayals and second chances. Rhett was a protector and still loved Chanel and I loved how he put himself out there for her. His best friend Tommy, did get on my nerves especially in the beginning, he was over the top and kept egging Rhett on and dismissing Chanel to him but the ending is where it all came together even Tommy finally redeemed himself. There was also humour and Chanel’s b.f. Ana was hilarious, their banter was flawless and made me laugh more than a few times. The sparks and fireworks between Rhett and Chanel flew off the pages and even though Chanel was a bit stubborn near the end, the ending was perfect for these two.

Possible Spoilers:

I am sucker for second chance and if the hero grovels for forgiveness definite bonus points. However, none of that happened here and the story fell flat for me.

To be honest, I find the blurb to be a little misleading; the auction is not a major part of the story and Chanel doesn’t make Rhett work for her forgiveness in the slightest. Chanel was heartbroken and traumatized from Rhett’s actions in high school and she plans to make him pay on this reunion cruise; this lasted for like 5 minutes, before they were tongue bathing each other later that day.

I couldn’t get into the story mostly because of Chanel, she acted like a bratty teenager who had no sense of personal safety; for example, someone is sending me threatening notes, I’ll just ignore it and it will go away. Also, something I don’t like is when people say they forgive past actions, but then constantly prove they have not.

I was actually interested in the Luke storyline even though it was a bit unbelievable. However, Ana and Tommy were the MVPs for me and I loved seeing their relationship grow.

Also if my reunion was on cruise with all those fun activities I wouldn’t hate it, just saying.

This is a really good story about first love, misunderstandings and how one person can change the course of your life! Rhett never felt like he was good enough for Chanel, his high school sweetheart but that didn't stop him from loving her and wanting to be a better man for her. After a horrible prom, Rhett and Chanel never spoke again, now it's time for the 10 year reunion that's being held on a cruise ship. Chanel has never opened her heart to another man after what happened with Rhett, she's had a string of one night stands but no man has touched her like Rhett, now she has a chance to confront him and get closure but Rhett hopes that maybe he and Chanel can try again because she's the only woman who has ever touched his heart. They never moved on from each other and their love even though they have carried the past 10 years with them, now they can have a second chance at forever! Chanel has a secret admirer that is starting to get aggressive and Rhett is going to protect the woman of his heart from all danger, even if that means walking away from her after the end of the cruise....

Another fun book from the wonderful Rye Hart. I can thoroughly recommend this author to read.
Ten years ago Chanel was looking forward to her prom with her boyfriend Rhett, but she was about to step into the car and what she saw ruined her night, she has seen or spoken to him since.
A ten year school reunion has been planned but this one is a little different, they are taking a cruise, Chanel still doesn't want to see him as it brings up too many bad memories that have had a big impact on her life.
Rhett still hasn't forgiven himself for that night and doesn't really want to go to the reunion, but his best friend persuades him too.
As luck would have it Chanel and Ana (her best friend and classmate) and Rhett and Tommy (his best friend and classmate) have rooms next door to each other.
Can they forget the past and become friends (or more) again or will they just avoid each other the entire cruise.
This is really a fun book to read, I would love to read more about Tommy and Ana too, sit down pick up the book and enjoy the cruise

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. I absolutely loved this latest book from Ms Hart and the setting was a great idea. Chanel and Rhett are former high school sweethearts who are attending their 10 year class reunion and are joined by best friends. The two haven't spoken to one another since prom night when something went terribly wrong. Both have never forgotten about the other or gotten over each other. This story was such a joy to read. I loved how their friends Ana and Tommy kept trying to deny that they more than liked one another and they were only having a little fun while on the cruise. I really liked how protective Rhett was with Chanel once he found out she had a stalker. I also liked how he was more than willing to explain that what she thought about what happened at prom was not as it appeared and that he never cheated on her and has always loved only her. This was just such a great book and I loved the wonderful ending and liked that all four friends were able to get their HEA!

Rhett went into the Navy and became a Seal. He has just retired and unsure where his life will take him next. The love these two had in high was one of a kind, will seeing each other help them move on from the past or give them a second chance? One previous classmate turns the cruise into a nightmare for Chanel and causes her to fear even leaving her cabin at times. I really liked the way Rhett cared and protected Chanel once he found out she had a stalker. Can these two move forward or will the past repeat and destroy any chance they had? I love the idea that even though something didn’t work out right the first time, the couple gets another shot at making it right. Chanel and Rhett desperately need the chance to correct the disastrous ending to their love story. Ten years later and the pair of them are still comparing new partners to “the one that got away”, or in Rhett’s case “the one I drove away”. This reunion gives them the opportunity to lay all the old ghosts to rest, including some they didn’t realize they were being haunted by. There is a lot of book here. And, for me, it might be slightly more book than it had to be. I enjoyed every completely charming and supremely hot moment of it, but there were some scenes that weren’t all that necessary to move the story along. Though, I thought it was adorable to watch them fall in love again and watch the sparks flying between their best friends.

In this book we meet Rhett and Chanel. Chanel remembers the one that got away. She wonders though by going on this reunion cruise is she opening herself up to even more hurt? Rhett really wants to know about the one that got away but he wonders will she even remember him. By going on this curse will he get the chance to not only see her but maybe find a way to get a little closer. Can they both find something they didn't know they were looking for or will they both find there is more pain to be had?

This is an amazing story that will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. There are some ups and downs that will have you laughing one moment and wanting to smack someone the next. There is so much I want to tell you about but don't want to ruin it for any other readers. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

This is Chanel and Rhetts story. 10yrs ago on prom night Rhett broke Chanel's heart. Now their thrown together on cruise for their high school reunion. Which is bringing back painful memories that each have tried to forget but never could. Truths come out. Someone wants Chanel for themselves. Old feeling come to life but is it just the past or is it something they can build on for a future. Then there's Ana and Tommy their best friends. Love getting a glimpse into their story. Hoping we get to see their full story. I really loved Rhett. He was sweet, protective and a great guy. Tommy and Ana were a hoot. Chanel, I just couldn't fall in love with her like I did the other characters. She was ok . I recommend One More Time it was a good story. Looking forward to what Rye comes out with next.

Ten years later, he still can't figure how this happened. He thought he must have gotten drunk and wanted to cause Chanel to leave and go on to college and fulfill her destiny. Now it's time for their class reunion and her best friend, Ana, and his best friend, Tommy, both horndogs, have coerced them into going on the reunion Carribean cruise. The reunion brings all unanswered questions to light. Who was the girl? Why was Rhett having her, when he knew Chanel was on her way to the limo? Did he still have feelings for her? Did she still hate him? Would she ever forgive him?

What an awesome second chance romance. I love all of Rye Hart’s books but this is my favorite. Rhett and Chanel were high school sweethearts. Prom night didn’t end as they’d expected which caused their relationship to end. Over the next 10 years, they’ve thought of each other quite often.

10 years later Rhett is a retired Navy SEAL not sure what he’s going to do next. Chanel is a writer. They both attend their 10-year high school reunion cruise. This cruise is a lot more than they’ve bargained for. They find themselves drawn to each other. Their chemistry is extremely hot! Eventually, they learn who was responsible for their prom night disaster. However, there is a misunderstanding that tears them apart again. How will they find their way back to each other? This marks the 4th book of Rye Hart's stories that I have read!

Love the plot as it focuses on the main characters (mainly) and the relationship between their good friends. Like the title, it explains how the storyline goes and how Chanel and Rhett felt about each other (from a couple to not keeping in contact, back to a couple) even though there were misunderstandings. Their good friends too played a critical part in the process of their relationship for a second chance to happen. Accepting each other even with the long wait!

The story can really get the reader to think from the characters' perspective, how they feel and think at the point of reading. If you are someone who doesn't like to take on characters' perspective, not to worry! In this story, Rye Hart limited it to only the two main characters!

Rye Hart has once again written a beautiful steamy romance that is impossible to put down. Ten years ago, Chanel and Rhett were high school sweethearts. They parted because of a misunderstanding. Chanel believed Rhett had cheated on her the night of the prom. Chanel has never moved on and doesn't date. She and her girlfriend are attending their ten year school reunion which just happens to be a cruise. Guess who is also on the reunion cruise. Rhett of course. Can they forget the past and start anew? If you're looking for an excellent plot with steamy scenes, a bit of danger and romance “One More Time” is for you. Give it a try.

She’s still heart broken since high school and can’t move on. Then she sees Rhett is on the cruise also. They finally talk and things aren’t what they seemed back then and she tells him that she thinks she has a stalker. Will he keep her safe so they can find out what is going on? I could not put it down. I would highly recommend reading this book. 💋

I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader copy of this book. This book was amazing! Loved it from start to finish. Chanel and Rhett are smoldering hot together, chemistry off the charts. I love second chance romances and these two definitely get their chance, but you know there are always obstacles past and present that get in the way. They haven’t seen each other for 10 years and a reunion cruise is where they reconnect. Trust has been a huge issue for Chanel since their break up all those years ago, but when certain things come to light things that may answer some unresolved questions. We can’t forget the antics of Ana and Tommy, they were a great addition to their story. No spoilers here, loved this story and looking forward to reading more from Rye.

Finally a second chance story in which a part of the reason why the main characters had broken is solved in the first chapters, with no drama. So, it lets a lot of time for the rest of the real problems : what happened 10 years ago and who can hate so much the couple.
It’s the story of Rhett and Chanel who reconnects during their reunion, on a cruise (so they’re trapped like on an small island). Even if they’re still attracted, their new relation is threaten by someone who wants Chanel. Between the relationships, the old grudges, the atmosphere on the boat, it’s a good well written story.
