Warrior: Equipping Men for Spiritual Victory

Rate this book
Warrior is a 10-chapter study that is intended to help us recapture who and what God intended us to Warriors for Christ and for the things of God. This study is aimed at helping us reconnect with Jesus in every aspect and detail of our lives and discover how He wants to be a part of every little thing we do. It is a no-nonsense, practical approach for men who are tackling the challenges of being fathers, husbands, and sons. It’s not a how-to book; it’s a go-to resource that is grounded in the Word of God. Men of all ages and all circumstances can benefit from Warrior through small group study or on an individual basis. Warrior is a call to know Jesus and obey Jesus, while reminding us that He alone has the power and ability to give our lives purpose and peace. "Warrior is a powerful reminder that the supernatural presence of God and a daily encounter with the Cross of Jesus is where men are equipped to win the spiritual war." - Chris Hodges, Lead Pastor, Church of the Highlands || "This book is what I'm screaming for men to hear, but even more importantly, challenging them to do something about!" - Rick Burgess, Co-Host, Rick and Bubba Show || "Warrior is an intense and timely rallying cry for men to return to the fundamentals of fighting for what matters." - Gus Malzahn, Head Football Coach, Auburn University

Like the description says - it’s a “go-to resource”! This book is for ALL men dealing with all the facets of being men (fathers, husbands, sons, co-workers, bosses) who deal with spiritual warfare on the regular. I’ve just come out of a season of transition from the corporate world to running my own business, leading Freedom small groups at church, and just trying to figure out what’s next. The enemy will use every distraction possible to keep you from your goals and when you realize the battle is in the spiritual, you can fight with the right weapons. Lance does such an incredible job of explaining spiritual warfare, of how to combat it, and practical things you can do to overcome these battles and live as men the way God intended.

This book is a blessing

I'm a few chapters in and so far it has been a huge blessing. I'm growing in areas of my life where I've been slacking off for far too long. I rarely (if ever?) write reviews but this book is certainly worth it. If you're looking to be a Godly leader for your family, community, or in general, Warrior is a great resource. And if you're already living your life as a leader but need some encouragement, I believe this book will help you as well.

Extremely convicting.

I struggled through parts of this book because it directly addressed problems in my life, but that’s what I needed! This book is a great resource to come back to and read up on when you face anything from sin to keeping your house clean.

I highly recommend Warrior for all Christian men.
