Finally!!! Everything from the past two books come together and we get all the answers!!

The plot is pretty much non stop because Mihail finally finds out about his family, his grandfather and ...... other things (not going to spoil it for you!!!) There is plenty of action, plenty of suspense and plenty of ghost and demons, even a doppelganger!! It was the best in the series so far!!

My heart went out to Mihail in this one because he finds out things about his family that were heart breaking for him. But this knowledge also allows him to do what is needed to save Abe and himself.

I don't want to say too much more because it's very easy to spoil this edition!! All I'll say is this series is well worth a read. I finished all three books in quick succession and I didn't want it to end. It was well written, fast paced, entertaining and intriguing. The characters are some of the best I've read and I really hope we see more about them sometime!

Thom Bowers is such a talented narrator. He has plenty of tones and voices and is able to perfectly capture the atmosphere. His performance for all 3 books were flawless.

I was given this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. This in no way affected nor influenced my thoughts.

This was by far my favorite of the 3 books in the series. My favorite character is still Abe but at least Mihail was not as whiny in this story. I think the narrator helped set the mood of the stories with a deeper voice that worked well. I liked the ending and the way the story wrapped up. Overall a great horror series.

I really wanted to enjoy this book and all the loose ends that were tied up, but I just couldn't. Mihail is too stupid to live and that ruins most of the plot. I get it... I get it... He has to come to the right conclusions on his own, in his own time, but come oooon!! During the entire series he is a whiny spineless teenager, making up excuses for Draciana. The fact that he suddlenly develops some sort of backbone during the ending and that means that he automatically he can be in charge and lead the ghosts is ridiculos. The only reason this books gets 3 stars is because of Abe.

The secrets in the house might kill Mihail before he has a chance to figure them all out. He is also coming to terms with the fact that his grandmother is not the woman he thought she was. Without his friend Abe, Mihail would have been killed long before, but now, he has a chance to survive the secrets that are threatening his entire home, and his life.

Great read! I enjoyed this one!

Well, another winning series by Sara Clancy and Scare Street wraps up and leaves me with a feeling that things may not be quite as they seem. Mihail Vaduva finally discovers the dark secrets of his family and the castle he has inherited - and they are not pretty. There is evil afoot and Mihail must find bravery inside of him to face it. There are demons and the ghostly remains of past victims of Mihail's Grandmother to deal with. To his good fortune, Mihail has the help of Abe, who has the ability to see the ghosts.
I like Abe. He reminds me of Harry Potter's Hagrid on steroids. He takes a lot of lickings and comes back still ticking. His character comes even more alive thanks to Thom Bowers' excellent narration skills.
You just know that Mihail will muddle through, but will his life ever again be the same? I won't spoil it. Check it out. You won't be sorry.

I love when an author ties up loose ends. This book number three in the series and it brings closure to the series. The well developed plot with Mikail and Abe and the many others are interesting and draws you in. This is the best book of the three. Mikail and Abe continue and they get some help from a police officer. You will have so many twists and turns with the many trapped souls.Draciana finally shows here evil side. Frank is back. This book will captivate you. You have to read/listen to this book to enjoy. Thom Bowers is an amazing narrator and he makes you feel you are there in the castle. I enjoyed this book and I highly recommend this book.

I want more

I love these characters, I love the dynamic between them. I hope Sara comes up more books for the ghost waiting to be sent on their way, especially the little ghost boy that never knew his name.
