Bounty hunter turned corporate troubleshooter, Ezra Tate never thought his path would cross again with the bear shifter female he’d helped rescue from a basement prison in Lake Tahoe. But stranger things have happened.
Theodora Jackson is on a solo motorcycle trip to try to rediscover her identity after a terrible ordeal that almost killed the bear spirit that lives inside her. She remembers the strong Alpha presence of the man who wouldn’t let her give up in those first few hours and days after her rescue. She’s never forgotten him, but she doesn’t know who she is now, and isn’t sure if Ezra even remembers her.
When they run into each other on the road heading for the same town, it’s clear there’s still something between them. Sparks fly as they confront an evil that’s trying to cause bloodshed at a world famous motorcycle rally, Ezra hunts down drug runners, and Thea rediscovers the Alpha animal inside her...and that she wants sexy Ezra for her mate.
Grizzly Cove Crossroads is a spinoff of the ongoing Grizzly Cove series, which is connected to all my other paranormal romances, including the Tales of the Were and the Brotherhood of Blood, and all the related series. Bianca D'Arc is the USA Today bestselling author of over 100 romance titles. She has been published traditionally, by a few notable small presses, and indie. Before becoming a full-time writer, she ran a laboratory, a legal department, and jetted around the country on business while working for a Fortune 500 engineering firm.
I totally fell in love with the characters in this book. Thea has been to the edge of existence and came back changed, Ezra might have found what he was looking for but had to let her go, and fate does whatever she wants. Individually they are strong, but together they are unbeatable. I enjoyed the way these two found their way to their HEA, with a little help from the Goddess and three brother bears, the author kept us on our toes throughout the journey and showed that healing can be accomplished with time. This book was a fantastic addition to the series and I can’t wait to read the next book.
Ezra knew that riding from place to place soothed his bear. He'd been and seen a lot.
Bounty hunter turned corporate troubleshooter, Ezra Tate never thought his path would cross again with the bear shifter female he’d helped rescue from a basement prison in Lake Tahoe. The five women were magical in some way. Most had been human with some small gifts of magic that the mage had hoped to siphon away along with their lives. The other woman… The other woman had been a bear shifter. Theodora. He felt a strong connection to her. She was badly harmed by these people. Her bear spirit was almost gone. He couldn't leave her side for days. Her rescue had been dramatic. Her condition had been criminal. That she was a fellow bear shifter spoke to his inner animal on a very basic level. That she was a lovely woman—badly emaciated but still showing signs of an ethereal beauty that had haunted his dreams ever since. She'll recover over time, he was sure of it. His bear protested her leaving, even to get medical help or go with her parents. Will fate let them meet again?
I love Thea and Ezra's story. Their first meeting was a result of a bad situation and rescue for Thea but their second meeting was fate. Ezra was hired to find out what's going on in a bike shop owned by Beth and Trevor and he invites Thea to join him. Ezra know there's criminal activity going on but what they find is worse. Thea can feel the evil magic in the shop and it's obvious in the eyes of the local wolf shifters. Ezra and Thea have quite the job to overcome the evil magic but, working together, they are successful. They find they are mates and fall in love. Great story, very well written!
Good reading. Page-turner. Fantastic world-building. Marvelous characters and depiction of inter-racial cooperation. Diversity in action. Bad guys get what they deserve. Romance is a major part of books in this series, but doesn't get in the way of the rest of the story.
This author has excellent proofreaders, not perfect, but much, much better than too many books I've read in the last year. Yes, I'm one of those picky readers who reject recommended books that are reported to be full of distracting typos.
I’ve been hoping Ezra and Thea would get together since they met in Midnight Kiss, and their story was everything I’d hoped for. It was great to see Thea’s growth, and Ezra no longer be alone. Their fight against the Mage was a great way to get them together, and the identity of the mage was a great twist. All in all, another great Grizzly Cove book, and I’m really excited to learn about Ace, King, and Jack!
This is the first book in the Grizzly Cove Crossroads series of books. To my mind its one of the best ones yet. The story gives more depth to the characters met in a previous book and into how the shifters enter act with the people in the human world all around them. You also see the result and how they cope with unmentionable treatment at the hands of an evil mage. The book also touches on a real life problem in our own world. A great read!!!
This time we are taken on the road for a trip of a lifetime. We get to check out Sturges along with some wolves. There is love and a coming of age kind of feel. Along with page turning trouble that makes you want to see what's next. Oh, and lots of motorcycles!
This is again another great start to a Tales of Were spin off series. This story is directly related to a Grizzly Cove, but was a nice action packed story in its own right. After meeting Thea and Ezra in another book, it was great to see them healthy and recovered. It will be great to see how the brothers stories unfold.
Exciting, sexual encounters, danger and celebrations all wrapped into another awesome book by Bianca D`Arc. Ezra rescues a female bear shifter a few months before and when a chance encounter reunites them, things will forever be changed. Well written and I really enjoy this author's writing. Great job.
I was elated to see that Ezra got his own book. I loved his character in Trevor and Beth’s book, and truly hoped he would get his own. He deserved it!
Really great love story set in one of the rowdiest places on Earth, Sturgis SD during rally week. Been there many times and it is something that can only be explained by being there.
Hah! What a great beginning for the newest segment of Grizzly Cove books. Teasing us at the end regarding the brothers was just soooo very mean. I greatly look forward to the continuation of this series.
What happened? A ghost writer? The prose is tedious and repetitive. It’s a child’s recount not an engaging story. I honestly can’t believe this was written by B’Arc.
Bianca D'Arc never disappoints. The story branches out from Grizzly Cove and intersects with a few previous storylines very neatly. Strong characters pratique your interests enough to hope they get stories of their own.
Another great book in the grizzly cove series. I enjoyed reading such a well written book about Erza and Thea. This book is part of a large interwoven series of stories and I wonder what is next in the tales of the were universe
All things happen for a reason. Reading this story you will find adventure, some excitement, romance, brotherhood, faithfulness, and trust. Great story.
This was a short easy read. It is a spinoff from the Grizzly Cove series, but it does a reasonable job recapping if you haven't read them, so it'd probably be ok as a standalone. Though there will definitely be spoilers for the Grizzly Cove books if you read this first, particularly Badass Bear which this is set after. It's also apparently set after Midnight Kiss, which I didn't know about.
This book has a great story of a person who has been abused but has fought through all the pain and emotion to be a stronger. The book is believable and a GOOD READ.
