Jadore wasn’t the type of young woman to let anything get in the way of her making money, so she had no problem finessing customers for tips when she worked as a bartender at the hottest club in Hollywood, California.
Jadore had no interest in men, but she knew they were going to be the ones to help her make ends meet. Her girlfriend, Rae, couldn’t stand her being a bartender or the male attention that came with it. But Jadore had mouths to feed, bills to pay, and dreams to turn into reality. Dashon was a Texas boy that had been living the fast life for a while, but he was ready to settle down with a woman now that he had a career as a songwriter. Being in the music industry, he always had women willing and able to do any and everything just to spend a night with him, but that’s not what he wanted. He couldn’t seem to find a woman that wasn’t just trying to throw the nookie at him…until he came across Jadore. She found no interest in him, and that made him want her even more. Dashon was determined to get Jadore to pay him some mind. No matter what it took, she was going to be his West Coast Baby…

OMG...
I loved His west Coast Baby. Shon was everything. I truly enjoyed reading this story. This Author deserves 5 stars and I will be recommending this book to my friends.

I hated I waited so long to read this book. The characters, plot and drama was everything! Jadore is a bottle girl who is a lesbian and she meets Dashon on their birthday at her job. She wasn’t interested in him and he tries to pursue her but she has a girlfriend. I hated Rae with a passion with her insecure and controlling tail. She was too much lol. The chemistry between Dore and Shon was great and I was happy she actually gave him a chance. I swear I never had a book that make me laugh as much as this one did with the crazy drama going down. I can’t wait to see what happens in Book 2 with their relationship and the drama. 5 stars!

This was a dope read , I was skeptical of Jadore at first but she proved me right. I love the vibe she gave me shit didn’t let anybody mess her over or take advantage of her nor the situations she was in. I really didn’t like Rae or her brother them mofos are narcissistic’s. I felt Rae could of have told Dore straight up and front that she wanted to break up but she prolonged it and not. But drama came from it. That man Dashon had his drama too but he quickly knew what he wanted after running into Dore. She did have my boy in his feelings but I am so glad she gave them a try. That chick Cari almost caught these hands she so trifling and delusional. I can’t wait for part two because I know she go get hers and I just want Jadore to stop running from her and Dashon Marital problems and handle it like an adult.

Really Jadore? Honestly her reaction at the end pissed me off. She didn't take the opportunity to get answers before taking the word of a bitch she knew wasn't worth a damn. Hopefully her aunt or sister can talk some sense in her before she lets an irrelevant whore make her step out of character. Rae tried it! I didn't like her, her family or the one she was creeping with. She played Dore for sure but I had no sympathy for her. Man wtf Cari sorry, conniving ass came from. That's one heffa Dashon should've only allowed on her knees with her thirsty ass. I'm hoping I can jump in part 2 soon and Jadore checks her attitude before she loses her good man behind some bs!

This book was really good. I'm so happy that Dashon and Jadore got together because they both deserves to be happy. I hope Cari gets what she deserves because she is freaking evil. I can't wait for the next part.

Cari was very childish. I'm wondering if Dashon knew about the child. Jadore needs to grow up and realize she's married. I'm wondering if Tre going to bring his family to Cali? Rae was dumb she should of just broken up with Dore. I didn't care for Rae's family at all.

March 19, 2018Before I started this book I didn't read the synopsis and honestly had no idea what the book was about. This is my first time ever doing such but I was not disappointed. The story started off perfectly, the introduction was well needed and I honestly feel like this is one of the best books I have ever read. The author took her time with making sure each character was heard and that is valuable in a story of this kind. It made me feel some type of way about each character. I was torn between Maya and Tony as to who was right and wrong. I understood where they were coming from because of what went on when they were in college. My favorite character was Ty. I liked how he is the one who figures out what's going on with everybody. The plot is interesting and you can tell it was well-thought-out. I was more and more surprised as I kept reading. It will definitely make you think. I can't wait to read part two, which is also available now. Definitely check this one out! Easily five stars!
