Our Last First Kiss

When Tinsleigh Martin went through an ugly divorce, she spent the first six months eating her emotions. She had always dealt with self-esteem issues thanks to a domineering mother and having her ex cheat on her and then compound it by marrying the woman, she sank into depression. At the one-year mark, she had slowly taken some of the weight off but her doctor advised it needed to be a bit faster, so she turned to a personal trainer/nutritionist who was highly recommended. Thorne Baker has his own painful past but has worked hard to move beyond the betrayal. When Tinsleigh walks into his gym the very first time, he feels an attraction he's never had before with a client. Hours spent together working out as he gets her ready to compete in a triathlon only deepen his feelings. He knows, however, that he will have to let her set the pace because of her past. What if everything you've always believed about yourself since you were a teenager turns out to be a lie? What if the man your heart desires lets you know he wants you too? Come and join Tinsleigh and Thorne and see if they get their happily-ever-after!

His heartwarming story is full of spirit sass and fire, it is amazing story of love lost and destiny found. He main characters have had both ups and downs in their lives, along with the crushing cruelty that sometimes accompanies love. But from the moment they meet, you can tell it is gonna be one of those loves for all times kind of loves! They have their share of hurdles along the way, and pasts to conquer.
His is a well written story that has enough emotion to keep this reader glued to the pages. Be prepared to have a box of tissue handy, because even though this is a HEA story, this happy ending is an emotional one! Well Done!🌺

What a beautifully written story. I just loved Tinsleigh and Thorne. Tinsleigh’s journey of self discovery and self worth was a joy to read. I loved how Thorne saw all of her from the moment they met. My heart was so invested in these characters that I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. Darlene took me on a beautiful journey. These characters and their love story will stay with me fir a long time.

Tinsleigh has had a pretty tough life. The husband she thought she could count on turned out not to be such a great husband. Her family isn't all that great either. Now her health is declining, and she decides that is the one thing she can take control of and turn it around. I love how strong she is and how positive she is.

Thorne has had bad luck with relationships in his past, but takes one look at Tinsleigh and knows that she is IT for him. He also knows that she isn't in a place to be receptive to that. I love how supportive of her he is, how patient he is with her. SWOON!

This book is absolutely beautiful. The connection between Thorne and Tinsleigh is pure and sweet. They are just perfect for each other. He is everything that she deserves, and she is everything that he never knew he wanted. Be prepared for a few LOLs, and even a few tears. This is a feel good book that makes you want to believe that the right guy really is out there waiting for you, and that true love really does exist!

OH MY GOSH!!!!! Darlene Tallman what have you done! This is the most beautiful, angsty, emotional read I've read in a very long time. Truly heartbreakingly beautiful.
Our Last First Kiss is sweet, slow read and more than once will have you reaching for your Kleenex. It's a great feel good read. It's about learning to love yourself on your own terms in spite of other people's opinions and going through difficult times.
Tinsleigh was devastated when her husband Denny left her. Even worse when the jerk remarried before the ink was dry on the divorce papers. After having some health issues she's sent to a nutritionist and personal trainer who's going to help her get back on track. Thorne Baker is who she's sent to and he's not had an easy time of it himself. There's an instant attraction which I think surprises both of them. The journey these two take is so heartwarming and the love they have is so completely perfect. You've outdone yourself Darlene Tallman! I wish I could have given more than 5 stars. This book definitely deserves it...

Tinsleigh and Thorne are battered and bruised emotionally from previous relationships but they aren't hardened by it. Cautious to try again, Thorne immediately sees Tinsleigh is a gorgeous woman inside and out. He doesn't mess about with her, he knows she is special and he treats her like a queen from the start. Tinsleigh has some self esteem issues but she doesn't take it to an extreme. Sure, these two meet because she comes to Thorne for his personal training and nutritional counseling. She is getting healthy after her divorce but it isn't progressing as well as her doctor hoped. These two build a really solid relationship built on love and admiration. Just an absolutely beautiful, romantic story! Fair warning though, the ending will put a smile on your face but have some tissues standing by. 5 stars for Our Last First Kiss!

A beautiful, tear jerking and uplifting story about a woman who has suffered from verbal abuse for most of her life. She has become the person her family and husband wanted her to be and the real Tinsleigh is hidden deep inside. When her husband ends their marriage she is devastated. Like many of us she turns to food for comfort. Her doctor requests she is referred to a nutritionist to assist in weight loss because she has some health issues. Thorne shows signs of interest in Tinsleigh but declared after Marisa there would be no one else. However it seems his heart has other ideas. Trusting in someone takes time and they make the most of it, healing one another along the way.

Tinsleigh Martin's life wasn't how she thought it would be. After being everything everyone else wanted. Her husband leaves her for his assistant. Divorce and bad health brings her life into focus.
Thorne Baker a nutritionist and dietitian personal trainer life was about to change forever, when Tinsleigh walks into his gym under doctors recommendation to get her life back on track. This was a beautiful emotional love story about finding your true soul mate and the adventures along the way, their last love. Of course I cried it was so beautifully written with such passion and devotion. I highly recommend this book.

I started this book today and literally could not put it down. I absolutely fell in love with this book. Tinsleigh hadn’t had the easiest go of things. Her mother judge everything she did and said. When her husband left her she lost herself even more. When her doctor told her for her health she needed to get the help of a personal trainer. Enter Thorne. Who had his own heart break. He sees her and decides he wants more. Ofcourse Tinsleigh doesn’t see it right away and they have to over come some to be able to find their happy ever after. This book is so beyond words worth it. It moved me in more ways then one. I absolutely recommend this book

I wanted to love this one but unfortunately this was DNF for me. Let’s just say the hero and heroines relationship in the beginning is very unbelievable. Like she inherited her house or else she would be living on the street but how can she afford a personal trainer who goes and spends the entire day with her cleaning out her kitchen and buying supplies. And the supplies had to cost thousands of dollars. Also I can’t believe that a personal trainer that needed to keep a professional relationship between client and trainer would create a nickname for said client in the first ten minutes of knowing someone 😳 Just not believable enough for me. Going to the next read

This was the first book I have read from this author and it will not be the last. What an emotional ride! Tinsleigh had gone through a divorce and was eating her emotions. Her doctor recommended Thorne as a trainer/nutritionist. I loved that their relationship started as friends and slowly became more. Thorne was everything that you would want a book boyfriend to be. I am not a crier, however, I did need a few tissues by the end. What a read!

Thank you for the privilege of reading this book! Well done ❤️

When I first began reading this story, I was ready to kick soon-to-be ex-hubby's arse (Tinsleigh's soon-to-be ex that is). I fell in love with the story when Tinsleigh showed how much courage and strength as well as what an awesome person she is. Post divorce. Thorne being a fabulous support to her and thinking she's attractive even though others may say she was fat - that sealed the deal for me. This story pulls at ALL my emotions and takes me to another place in my mind, which for me is the best kind of story. Give it a try, I'm betting you'll love it.

I haven’t read such a feel good, heartwarming story in a looong time. It’s definitely a slow burn start, but when they ignite....watch out! 5 stars for this incredibly enjoyable standalone.
Epilogues, for me, are USUALLY ok extras, nice but not necessary. But, Darlene Tallman’s epilogue of ‘Our Last First Kiss’ was spectacularly written, so much so, my chest burned as I cried reading the last few pages. Ultimately I ended with a tear streaked face and soft smile.
I will recommend this book to everyone!

Crying!!! Omg this book had a great love story that I was sad that the book was done and when I started I couldn’t put it down. I loved how the main characters went from heart break and betrayal to falling in love with giving love a 2nd chance. Don’t even get me started with the ending made me cried for it was like the movie The Notebook and I am not going to lying I was devastated when I was done and loved how Mrs. Tallman ended the book. I just hope I will find true love like that just thinking about it again is wanting to make me cry but great job now I am done I promise.

They met Thur her Doctor, and it was an instant attraction, that they played around.
She had self esteem issues and he. Was helping to build up both her mind and tone her body. He was still hurting from a betrayal of a close family member.
They both help each other. Out and so find. A deep and last love that not many people find. They are together for. Along time and have one last first kiss. As they go to a better place as they lived their life together.

Beautiful

Such a beautiful story of forever love. Tinsley and Thorne were made for one another. They were a perfect fit and they just needed to find their way. Tinsley never felt love without conditions so could she trust Thorne? Could she believe in herself enough to let the ugliness of her past go? Would they find their forever happiness in one another? Together they would cross the finish line heart and soul.

That ending 😭

This was a sweet and at times aggravating read. You get to see the inside of a woman who was belitted all her life and her journey to rebirth. I enjoyed it. Super fast paced as the timeline jumps ahead several times.

Omg. That epilogue and bonus epilogue got me to my core. Im here in my bed 7am crying bcz it was so sad.
This was my first book written by Darlene and definitely won't be my last.

Oh to find the right words

This beautiful story has me feeling so many emotions that I find it hard to describe just how lovely it truly is. It is definitely a fantastic read and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to read about the beauty that can be in an unexpected relationship, true love, a battle in the mind, and overcoming ones past. I give this book 5 stars and then some.

This book touched my heart...

Our Last First Kiss had all my emotions involved it. I laughed, I cried, I yelled, and I wanted to wanted to strangle some character and hug others. This is just a great all around book. Healing and learning to live your life on your own terms with inspiration and emotional support. Did I say it made me cry? Kleenex required. 5+ stars.

This book was so happy and hit me in every single one of my feels. I loved the purely genuine relationship between Tinsley and Thorne and that there was no unnecessary road blocks and drama. It was so healthy and sweet and made me happy to read. Annnnd then Darlene destroyed me with Tyne epilogue, but that’s just a testament to her writing ability. It was fantastic!

An emotional romance read

Tinsleigh, a self-employed editor, goes to Thorne, a nutritionist and personal trainer, at her doctor’s recommendation. As the story progresses attraction is hidden, some changes are made, and unless issues are worked through there will be no future. Darlene Tallman’s our Last First Kiss is an emotional romance read that spans a lifetime in a few hours.

A woman with low self-esteem finds her last love. Thorne is a personal trainer and nutritionist and when he meets Tinsleigh, he is immediately attracted. She has been battered down so much by cruel remarks from her mother and her first husband that she can't take Thorne seriously. He finally convinces her, however. They are able to build a great relationship that lasts for many years.

2nd chance at love

I laughed and I cried while reading this amazing book. Darlene brought the emotions out in this one. As a plus size woman it was a nice change of pace for the leading lady to not be a size 2 (nothing against slim women, just loving someone I can relate to). Keep it up Darlene. You write and I will read!
