Weekend Collision
Taking it easy in Antioch can come in different forms… Mel and Jared test out their parenting skills caring for two little boys for the weekend. As a kindergarten teacher, she feels fully prepared, until her emotions over struggling to conceive get the better of her. Her heart aches for a baby, and she struggles to keep herself together. After all, she and her husband have plans for their charges. Antioch Police Detective, Jared just wants to make his wife smile and enjoy their time with his partner’s kids. Proving they can have fun gets a bit chaotic. An accident at the grocery stores reveals even responsible adults have some growing up to do. In the end, enjoying what they have together—and keeping the kids in one piece—are the ultimate goals.

I could relate!
Many will read and know those feelings, those thoughts and tears. Jared’s love for Mel and the way he treated her tears and fears was just right.

I would recommend this story for adults that enjoy funny, steamy hot and romantic tales with wonderful characters both male and female.

Weekend Collision by C.A. Szarek is a fantastic quick read. Ms. Szarek has given us a well-written book with characters we know and love from previous books. Mel is stressing because she's not pregnant yet. Jared tries to calm her fears as they babysit for a weekend. This may be a short read, but you can expect drama, humor and sizzle to keep the pages flipping. I enjoyed reading Weekend Collision and look forward to my next book by C.A. Szarek. Weekend Collision is part of the Crossing Forces Series, it can be read as a standalone, but I suggest reading book 4 of the series first (Collision Control) to get the back story on these awesome characters. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.
