OMG

So many questions but the main one: Why Dontero never came to light. I love how Tahmir stepped up. Few stories have that support! I am glad Tahmir came back after he was cleared.

Just an "O.K." Book.......3***

The storyline and plot-were Good!👍 However, there were MANY typos & Major Grammatical Errors that could Not be overlooked, because it took away some of the "Power", in which the author 'Attempted' to convey.😞 Furthermore, I Don't like (or Need) Anyone to "tell me the story".😩 Throughout the pages of the book-the writer gave THEIR Input & Opinion, rather than allowing the Reader to "come up with their Own conclusions" of the story.😒 I have read other books by Quan Millz, so I Am aware of their writing skills, BUT........as far as developing the characters & authoring a GREAT read, *Gutter Hoe Dreams*.......this was a Let-down and (a) slight disappointment, Especially as an Avid reader AND HUGE Supporter of Star Lit and Street-Lit/Urban Fiction.......😞😩

Oh my Gosh Oh Mighty

All I can say is read this book. This has got to be one of the best books I have read in a long, long time. It is definitely one of the absolute best standalone I have ever read. The author made me feel every word, every pain, every joy, every tear and every heartbreak! Bravo! From this book I will search and read every book this author has wrote or ever will write. Please read this book!

Great storyline

This would have been a 5 star read, but the editing was poor! I almost threw this book to the side. It's a shame how poor editing can reduce the likelihood that talented authors will lose what could potentially be a huge fan base. Having said that, I must say the storyline was really great although I had to interpret myself, what the author's intended thought would be. It was absorbing, heart wrenching and had a powerful ending.

This book was emotionally draining...im in shock

This book took me for a rollercoaster of emotion. Just when I thought I had it figured out, the rug was pulled from under me and I was ready for war. This is the type of book I will tell my friends to tell their friends to read. Simply the best read I've read in a long time. Great job Quan!

Unexpected, nonstop, amazing!

This was so intense! Quan crossed every line, hit every extreme... had me anxious and biting my nails with each page! Aside from the typos and mixed up names, well done.

🔥🔥🔥

This book gave me so many different emotions. Man I swear I know some real life Darnishas. But I’m so glad that Tasia was able to overcome the very many obstacles that were given to her. But what happened to Tasia’s mother?. This was a Dam good Read!

WOW!

This book took me on an emotional roller-coaster! The "mother" in this book needs a serious beat down!! She didn't care who she harmed to "secure the bag" she just wouldn't work! But karma does win in the end!!
