Redemption is difficult to find among deceptive aliens. The mighty Milisarian Knights might not be victorious this time.
Josephine Landers had been a nurse in the experimental labs on Earth. She sought redemption by taking an assignment to be the medical aid for a species called the Pura. She was to care for them while they made a new planet ready to sustain their people. The discovery that they were trespassing on Milisaria's territory had Josephine acting as peacemaker.
Milisaria's population was growing too quickly for their planet to sustain them. They needed more land to grow crops. Urim took a contingent of Knights and farmers to one of Milisaria's empty planets. He was to oversee the planting of crops. A human female put a wrench in his plans, by arguing that another species needed the planet more.
Unlike Milisarian Knights, the Pura were not giants trained in battle from birth. They appeared small, and weak. Their refusal to retreat from a planet belonging to a race of warriors seemed almost laughable. But, the Pura had a secret army which they controlled at the touch of a button. This army felt no pain and couldn't die.
Could the Milisarian Knight's defeat a futuristic army with just their swords? Would Josephine find herself expendable to the Pura? Could she look to Urim to save her?

First let me state, I received an Advance Reader Copy, (ARC), but this in no way influences my review. I always leave an honest review.
This is the fourth book in the series. Now even though the can stand alone, I personally feel it's better if you read them in order. In book 3 we heard about the earth scientist running experiments on the captured alien warriors. Well in this story we meet Josephine, who happened to be a nurse in the testing labs on earth. She took a job giving medical help to the Pura on a distant planet to try and redeem herself. Unfortunately the planet they were on was not their own, it belonged to Milisaria. She tried to help but kept butting heads with Urim who was in charge of growing crops for his people. There is so much more going on as well. I recommend this read. 5 Thumbs up
Josephine Landers still hadn’t gotten over her guilt at not recognizing what was really going on with the aliens in the experimental lab project. She could try to blame her being so young, but that wasn’t why she didn’t let herself see the truth. So many had suffered and died needlessly! So now, Josephine had volunteered to go into space and help the Pura who requested medical personnel to help prepare the planet they were moving to. She felt that by helping them, she might then forgive herself finally put her guilt behind her.
Josephine was taken to the planet and the crew helped set up her camp. When they continued their space journey, the Pura landed near her metal tent and took her to their ship to treat the sick. The next day, when she returned to the ship to see her patients, Ixia was rude saying he could not waste time leading her to the infirmary and she needed to find it herself. When, during their terraforming work, two Pura were injured, Josephine had to loudly whistle to get them to take the two men to the ship. Ixia glared at her in anger. When she got the story of what happened, she recognized the description of the attackers as Milisarian Knights and recommended the fragile Puras stay away from them. Ixia smirked and said they had battlebots to deal with any enemy. Others told her more about the attack and she realized Ixia had lied to her. The Pura had been the aggressors against the Milisarians. Someone told her there would be war over this; Ixia would never back down until he killed them.
Urim had told the Pura that Milisaria owned the planet. He was furious when they destroyed the expensive equipment. He had not meant to harm them when he knocked the controllers from their hands. But they were delaying their preparation of the planet to grow food for Milisaria. Things would definitely be escalating in ways Urim did not realize!
This was a very good story. The action is gripping and the characters are compelling. When Josephine discovered the Pura were not what they seemed, she and Urim joined forces. The future of Milisaria depended on their defending the planet for growing needed food. It was up to both of them to make sure that could happen and the aggressive, invading Pura had to be stopped! This is a fast-paced, enjoyable read with an intriguing plot and engaging characters. I definitely recommend it!
WOW! – creative, compelling, erotic, and suspenseful! Everything one could wish for in a Sci-fi Romance extraordinaire! For this reader/reviewer, 2018 is the year of GREAT READING! I have yet to read a book that I did not like or love for many integral reasons. However, Celeste Raye’s newest addition to her Warriors of Milisaria series, “URIM”, is one of the BEST so far this year. Always creative, Raye connects the essential identifying information of her series within uniquely different plots that allow the readers who have enjoyed this series to get lost in the new story as if it is the first of the series. Although there are some spoilers within the pages of “URIM, it is still a great place to start the series. Raye’s writing is solid and easy to read, with flowing prose and superb characterization. She uses the His Chapter/Her Chapter approach which allows the reader to understand the thoughts, angst, and decisions of both Josephine and the Milisarian Warrior Urim, for whom the novel is titled. The story is compelling, holding the reader in suspense until the very last word. It’s all in a DREAM! But you’ll have to pick up a copy of “URIM”, of your own to truly understand . . . I was given an ARC copy of “URIM” to prepare this honest voluntary review, but I plan to purchase a copy when it goes live and place “URIM” on my favorites shelf! If I could give “URIM” SIX or more stars, I would. The novel is that good! That said, I am giving “URIM” my HIGHEST of HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and the most robust of STRONGLY RECOMMENDED this reviewer can give. “URIM” is a MUST READ for romance and Sci-fi readers alike. Get your copy today. Happy pages! 😉
This is part of a series and is best read in order as it is very tied to the earlier storyline about the unethical scientific experiments on aliens by humans.
Josephine was a nurse who was part of the program and wants to make up for her involvement by helping aliens in need of medical expertise. Her mission seems like a good one until she realizes the aliens are not what she expected. Fortunately, another alien leader is there and they work together to protect each other from the danger. They also begin to feel a real connection.
I liked how Josephine and Urim's characters and their relationship was developed. Both of them are very loyal and really care about others. They are united in their desire to keep the Milisairian safe from the invaders. They make a great couple. He takes a great risk to protect her and you feel their connection. This is my favorite couple in the series so far.
This is Urim’s turn for adventure and love, this is a fantastic series by Celeste Raye and I’m not giving away any spoilers this time because I get too carried away with myself, just read Celeste’s blurb and that will give you everything you need to know about this book. Celeste’s books are getting better and better every time she brings a new book out. I’m a big fan of Celeste Raye’s she is an amazing sci-fi / romance writer and it shows in her books, there’s plenty of action and adventure in this book. We also can’t forget the very sassy stubborn woman Josephine who brings Urim to his knees, this is the 4th book to the series and even though it’s a standalone I suggest you start from book 1 to get a gist of the Warriors of Milisaria. Fantastic read and I highly recommend this book to anyone that loves sexy aliens, it’s definitely well worth the read.
Enjoyed reading this book it is well-written and kept my interest from the first page.Josephine Landers had been a nurse in the experimental labs on Earth but she never paid attention to what was going on around her. The Labs are shut now but she has never forgiven herself for not seeing what was happening so she now takes on dangerous jobs to make up for doing so. But what she does not know is that her newest job on the planet she is on, is not on the up and up, while there she meets Urim who took a contingent of Knights and farmers to one of Milisaria's empty planets. What happens made me keep turning pages I had to know what was going to happen. I received a copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing it.
An out of this world read. Celeste Raye has done it again Urim is a great read full of action and emotion. The world she has written is filled with vivid imagery and her characters are relatable and complex .In this story we have Josephine who only wants to help and to make up for things done in the past and we have Urim a knight who is leading a team to help aid his or people. When these two meet these two are at odds but a deceitful and dangerous enemy will bring them together and these two will fight not only for their lives but for love as well. Urim is a gripping read that had me on the edge of my seat.
This is another addition to the 'Warriors Of Milisaria' and again the story is well written with a great story line. Each book is different and adds something that you want to read more about. There is an introduction to a new species and this is the story of a character from a previous book. There is a possible imminent war in this instalment and it is exciting and page turning. The characters are great and the connection they feel is good. There is also little tidbits about caharcters from previous books which I like. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Interesting storyline - Creative world building I had trouble with this one in the beginning - I found it hard to connect with the lead characters they both seemed a tad "wishy-washy" in the beginning Urim is supposed to be a leader - yet he vocalizes that he is too young and probably incapable of handling the new situation Josephine needs to get over herself - Both of them do eventually find their inner strength making for a suspenseful and engaging read currently available on kindle unlimited
I love this authors work. This is another book that follows a difference person mentioned previously. After the lab is closed down one lady is still feeling really bad for what happened in the labs. She feels she needs to redeem herself as a nurse she has skills that can be used anywhere are after signing up to help an alien race by caring for their sick and injured. Once on this new planet she realises something isnt right. She meets some hunky warriors but one catches her eye. The question is will she survive to make something of it
This series is so good. It gives us points of view from so many different characters that it's what makes this story so well written. They way that they had to overcome such hardships was right on point. The battle was really what pulled us in though have way through he book. It's why we fell in love with them. This brave knights truly make this series. Excellent read and I give it 5 stars. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book as an Advanced Reader's Copy
Josephine had been a nurse in the experimental labs and still felt guilt over that years later(Ohber). Feeling the need to atone she tries to help aliens were she can, this is how she comes to be helping the Pura when they ask for medical aid while terraforming a uninhabited planet. Urim is tasked with terraforming and was underway when the Pura arrived with the same goal. Soon Josephine found herself having to take a side in a war, though that is far from what she wanted.
Fast action, treachery, torture, suspense, hope and love make this a fantastic book. Urim and Josephine battle unscrupulous Puma aliens, in their own way, to try to protect Millisarian colonists and knights. I loved the ending and can’t wait to see what comes next in this series. I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
THIS IS A BOOK FOR WHICH I VOLUNTEERED TO LEAVE AN HONEST REVIEW
I love the way that the aliens fall for the humans. I especially loved how Celeste portrayed the Pura as the childlike innocents and the Milisaria warriors as the fiends when in reality it was the opposite. No matter what, right seems to find its way, although it doesn’t always win.
Celeste Tate has done it again. Another great book in the series. With each one she writes the stories become more realistic and more believable. If there's more to come, I'm sure they will be just as good if not better. I think this is a must read series. Everything flows nicely and is interesting and intriguing.
Josephine was a nurse at the facility that tortured Ohber. She feels so guilty she has volunteered to help the Pura while the are trying to terra form a planet. Urim and his people are already there to do the same thing. Neither one of the aliens wants to leave so they both ready for war. Really good. Really liked this one.
I was a little disappointed with this one. The book, Urim, was not so bad; however, there were several other books following it. Those other books were just okay and I stopped reading after the second extra book.
Celeste Raye has another winner. Guilt, pride, and greed are all displayed in this book of the Milisarian Warriors and how those feelings can push decisions we wouldn't normally make. Josephine and Urim have become my favorites in this enthralling series. I highly recommend this to any lovers of sci-fi.
