They call Kong a god, yet they bound him in shackles. The apes are no different from humans. Poor Kong.

Ugh again. Seriously, this is not the comic for Kong fans. The art remains pretty neat, but Kong remains a total loser. In this comic, he just drools and cries in his cage the entire issue. The gorillas conspire to do evil things, and they have also caught, sigh, a gaggle of raptors that they want to use for... something. I guess it's kind of a Jurassic World sort of thing, use the raptors as war weapons. Inevitably they run amok. The art is still great, and there is various shenanigans with the scientists vs. the military--but I can't really dig this story. We are four issues in and Kong has only once briefly had one action scene, and mostly he remains a total dumb-dumb.
