I loved this book from beginning to end. A true romance for Patrick and Emma. The story begins with sorrow for Emma as she escapes her abusive father. And meets Patrick, who becomes her surprising hero. This book has everything you could want in a love story. It's romantic, steamy, and has an unexpected twist. I have read most of Hildie McQueen' books. And this book was just as enjoyable as the others.

The love sort of Patrick and Emma. Emma was raise by uncaring parents, when her father one touch her she run away. Only thinks she had were her clothes , her shores were in the kitchen. She got as far as the Langley farm. When her father got there Patrick tools him Emma was not there. Can Patrick keep Emma save and will he find love? Great story.

Great love story!
The characters were great to know and easy to connect too. Emma and Patrick was suited for each other. The story reminded one of when the first entered a relationship and had to learn to adjust to another person. I enjoyed This romance novels that spoke of true emotions.

As the story unfolds, the abusive treatment makes sense. Delightful read with many unexpected twists that I did not see coming. Relatable characters and believable resolution. Enjoying the Langley Legacy series.

Great fast read
Ah loved from start to end. Didn't put down till I read whole book. Makes you mad sad and cry. Then you fall in love with them all. Can't wait to read the rest in this group of stories.

Not enough story. Just when the reader becomes immersed in the story and comes to know the characters…all of a sudden the story ends and one must buy the “next” book in the series. I get it, authors, you want to make money, but I don’t like books that are really short stories.

It is well written, no cheating and a HEA.
